Well, we do know from Urien’s 3S ending that Gill and Urien were grown in tanks/pods whatever. So it’s quite possible that Bison stole this technology to make his backup bodies. Giving Gill, Urien, Seth, Abel, Cammy and Decapre a common origin.

Actually, I don’t think that’s what happens in Urien’s 3S ending. Gill was probably heavily weakened at the end of SF3 and went into a kind of stasis to recuperate. Urien, being kind of a dick, took that chance to destroy his brother along with the Illuminati’s elder brains. Very similar to Juri’s SSF4 ending where she kicks the shit out of Seth while he’s down/

I think so, all the Illuminati members are people who are naturally born, but they utilize eugenics, selected breeding and gene manipulation and intense martial arts training. They’re not grown in a lab, or tied to Necalli and Oni (I really don’t get why that theory kept popping up…)

I think this mentions the names of the two members of Fang’s gang that appears in story mode. The tall one was named “T.A.I.L” and the chubby one was named “T.U.S.K”. They don’t have “real names”, but “T.A.I.L” whips poison from his ponytail, and “T.U.S.K.” spits poison from his mouth.
Necalli’s name initially had been “dark” and that they were thinking of a name for a special move that came from the Nahuatl language and they came up with Necalli, but this eventually stuck as his name.
Initially, Rashid had been named Azam and they wanted one of the new characters name to start with the letter “A”. They wanted him to know everyone.

So we almost got Azam instead of Rashid lmao. Hopefully Capcom adds him in down the line, he seems like a really interesting character.
You know Capcom isn’t gonna miss an opportunity to add Azam, it’s an easy cash-in considering how cool of a guy he is just based on the Character Story
Basically every character present there that isn’t yet a part of the roster I think is guaranteed to make it in as some point in SFV’s life. Examples:

So Viper, Azam, Oro, Sakura, etc will probably come in future seasons
