Bison has NEVER had a body capable of handling his full power at its max. That’s why he burns through them. He’s Emperor Palpatine in the expanded universe. He did have them rush the body in SF4 but they also said it was stronger than ever…but STILL not powerful enough to contain his full strength.
I actually looked this up to see if it was true. Don’t scare me like that.
Why don’t they just build the most powerful body while he’s in another one? They were about to build the best body at the beginning of SF4, but had to activate it in an unfinished state as per Bison’s orders. So, why is he still in that body? Why didn’t they create a finished one during the events of SF4? Why do they always wait until one body is destroyed before they build a new one?
They can’t. That’s why he needs a new host like Ryu (or a clone thereof)
At least they should be able to build the body that they were about to build in his SF4 intro before he told them to skip it. You know, the one that can handle his whole Psycho Power. Why wasn’t that one still built again after they brought him back in the unfinished version?
Even though Shadaloo probably has the best scientists in the world - they can’t seem to replicate or create a body that would fit Bison. It probably has to do with the nature of his Psycho Power and the potential this power can have. Just think about it - they attempted it at least a couple dozen times with Seth and all the other clones, and we have no idea how many clones there were prior to SF4. So even after attempting to create a perfect clone (which Seth was supposed to be, I Guess) it was STILL not enough
That’s why Bison is constantly searching for a new host - Ryu was a perfect target because not only Ryu is one of the, if not the, strongest fighters in the world, he also contains Satsui No Hado inside. Imagine how much stronger Bison would become if he combined Psycho Power with SnH, amplifying his own power by like several times. It would essentially equate to Bison going Super Saiyan 3, and NOBODY would be able to stop him
But now that Ryu is suppressing SnH inside himself - he obviously isn’t an object of interest, and thus we now have Necalli, who’s basically a walking energy sponge, and judging by the CG opening - Necalli will suck SnH out of Ryu, and then Bison intends to transfer his soul into Necalli, to achieve what Bison wanted to so long, only now he’d theoretically be even STRONGER, since Necalli might have already had consumed warrior energies in the past

Bison Laughing and stating that Akuma’s “hado…” will be useful to him clearly shows he knows who Akuma is!
Akuma stating that Bison will pay for his sins also shows that he knows who Bison is.
Bison waking up in a fish tank recovering for a new body because of what Akuma did to him in SF2 shows how the saga continued from there.

The SF4 anime clearly shows the events that go from a bunch of people fighting Bison->Bison blowing himself up->Bison being in a tube with his new body.
It’s as cut and dry as…pretty much anything EVER in SF lore.
Akuma and Bison have NEVER met according to SF4 and their quotes to one another reflect it.
Akuma being SGS’d at the end of SF2 is about as canon as SFEX at this point…
Speaking of which, where was it ever stated that Akuma even met Gill? Knowing me, it’s probably really obvious, but I haven’t seen any clear sources yet.

One more point to the irrelevance of Akuma…
The body that was more powerful than ever was going to be the same body that was going to be able to withstand the full-extent of his Psycho Power:
Scientist: "I’m sorry. Please just wait a little while longer, Lord Bison. The next body will be even more powerful. It will be able to handle the full-extent of your Psycho Power."
Bison: "Get me out now! I don’t care what body I have to use. Anything will do. It’s only a matter of time before I make his body my permanent home anyway."
Scientist: “Yes sir! You heard him…Get moving! Begin the Psycho Power infusion at once!”
Going by the Prologue, there’s really no way of knowing if SF4 Bison is superior to Alpha Bison. It stands to reason that the body ended up not being his strongest one. All we know is that his new body is more powerful than his SF2 body.

Bison > Akuma in Alpha, thanks to Psycho Drive boost and Akuma hate/disprect him for that.
Alpha Bison know but is’nt worried about Akuma, because he feel to be more powerful at that point.
Akuma not fighting/killing him in Alpha, and hating him for the PD thing seem fit

Bison seem weaker than AlphaPD and SF4 versions, and Akuma anyway suckerpunch him with a sneak SNS.
Probably he did’nt engage a fair fight with Bison because don’t consider him a real martial artist.

Bison doesn’t have to know Akuma beforehand to know what Satsui no Hado is. His experiences with Ryu have already shown him what it is. Given that he just fought Akuma (going by the win quote), he would’ve figured out that his power is Satsui no Hado.
Akuma is shown visualizing Ryu, Bison, and Gen in his ending. We already know for a fact his only encounters with Bison (Alpha 1 and Alpha 3) never happened.
That’s why Bison needs a new body by SF4, not Akuma.
Bison’s Alpha body IS his SF2 body. It’s all rolled together now.
I keep forgetting the Alpha/SF2 stuff is pretty much merged together now.

Hado could refer to the technique or chi used by Akuma. Something he’s seen in Ryu. Using that to think Bison knows Akuma is circumstantial at best.
