How else would Balrog get all the money in his ending if he didn’t win it as champion?

Yeah Metal Gear Solid II already had crazy (awesome) shit in it including enhanced ninjas and cyborgs.
I like the sci-fi and weirdness in Street Fighter…though I think it’s done better in King of Fighters where it’s much more developed and feels like a genuine part of the world. The amount of games to develop it (the NESTs saga for example) is a big help for that…but KOF just always seems to deal with scale better than SF which constantly gets bogged down and TOTALLY wastes characters. Oddly enough, KOF has a cast like…twice the size of SF but SF seems to somehow manage to waste twice as many character stories on useless nonsense.
I don’t agree. Characters that don’t originate from KoF like the Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting characters don’t have any plot relevance in KoF. They’re just there for the crossover appeal. Ikari Warriors are the only expectation to this.

Finally ended
Thank you so much for everything! I hope as Capcom releases more, you keep doing them.

No, the relation chart just mentions that Dhalsim see’s M. Bison as the bad guy.
It’s always funny how the backstory and the actual game don’t match at all.
Dhalsim sees Bison as the bad guy, but he has no problem celebrating next to him:

Does Sim have some kind of bone disease in the black and white picture? Bone structure is ridiculous
@DRW is the a reason why there’s an arrow pointing from a picture of Adon to M. Bison in the relation chart for the SFIICG? I don’t see any text associated, but we know in Alpha series that M. Bison was interested in Adon, but is this referenced all the way back in SF2?

Dhalsim sees Bison as the bad guy, but he has no problem celebrating next to him:
I think the one being the most out of character in that photo is Bison. He doesn’t seem like the type to stick around to stand in the #2 slot if he lost.

Now you understand why Dhalsim despises conflict, it insults his very nature.
And yet, that doesn’t stop him from showing up to fighting tournaments over and over again.
That’s why he’s a stupid character.
How else is a broke guy with stretch arms supposed to make quick money to support his teenage wife and son if not Street Fighting? His teaching out of charity won’t put the curry on the table.
Implying Street Fighter tournaments have money rewards in the first place
How else would Balrog get all the money in his ending if he didn’t win it as champion?
Shadaloo money? I mean, Bison is probably rich as fuck thanks to his organization (you, terror and all that shit)

There happens to be another Indian in the Street Fighter universe who happens to have a associate with a Hindu diety as well.
Wraith from Super Muscle Bombers II was associated with the Hindu goddess Kali, who is featured in the background of his stage as well as being mentioned in his win quotes.
**
“By kali! you offer no challenge!”**http://i.imgur.com/IBnYyyh.jpg
The Hindu god Kali is often associated with blood, and her legend includes stories of her drinking the blood of her victims. Wraith would produce blood when he would slash at his opponents with his claws, and his finisher involved him biting the neck of his opponent and performing a jumping power slam afterwards with lots of blood depicted.
I always wanted this character for SFV ever since SFV has been announced something like Hisako of Killer Instinct style since there is no such style like that in SF kinda interesting concept but i guess they are not interested of remembering the super bomber characters

Dhalsim, Street Fighter 2:

Because he is extremely poor, he must participate in street fights in order to raise money to buy food for his newborn child, therefore he has suppressed his diet in order to push the extremes of his Yoga. Despite his continued fighting, he is immersed in a sense of morality to “not hurt people”, although he struggles keeping true to this. Through his extensive Yoga training he can freely extend the length of his limbs, as well as breath flames from out of his mouth.** In the end he returns to his hometown having earned enough money.** After three years pass, Dhalsim is now having a conversation with his growing son about his daily fights, safe at home around a dinner table. His sons grin might have made the front of the face look like a waste during the final phase, but it’s comical in a sense.
Dhalsim also receives money in his ending to buy food.

Makoto entered the S.I.N. tournament in hopes to win enough money to fix her dojo up. I know Sim did it because he wanted to not only vanquish Shadaloo, but also because he needed to return water to his village.
But honestly, it’s hard to imagine S.I.N. or Shadaloo following through with prizes. They’d probably just congratulate the winner before knocking them out and experimenting on them.

But honestly, it’s hard to imagine S.I.N. or Shadaloo following through with prizes. They’d probably just congratulate the winner before knocking them out and experimenting on them.
Well, the thing is, they seem to do this alot.
If they don’t follow through with the prizes, then nobody shows up to the next one.
Dhalsim and Blanka are freaks, period.
Let’s look at all of the tournaments:
Street Fighter 1: Sagat was defeated by Ryu. This seems like a fair tournament without any sinister motives.
Street Fighter 2: Shadaloo’s tournament. From what we see, this tournament doesn’t have an actual winner.
Street Fighter 3: The Secret Society’s tournament. Looks to be a perfectly normal tournament.
Street Fighter 4: S.I.N.'s tournament. Widely considered to be its own organization. The only people who know of its affiliation with Shadaloo are those investigating the two behind the scenes.
Now let’s look at the participants:
People like Ryu, Ken, Honda, Zangief, Adon, Sagat types seem to enter these tournaments in hopes of proving their worth as a fighter rather than winning any money.
Fighters like Guile, Cammy, Chun-Li, Guy, Rose types only enter these tournaments to either investigate the tournament or because they’re seeking Bison.
The Vega, Balrog, Vipers are usually ordered to enter these tournaments.
Fei-Long, Dee Jay, Dan types are doing it for promotional reasons.
That’s why I don’t see them thinking twice about taking the opportunity to sign up for them. All of them usually have their own reasons for wanting to fight in these tournaments.

Born and raised in Japan, he competed in skills with Ryu during his childhood under the tutelage of his master. His maternal grandfather is American which makes him on quarter. He has been the hot blooded of the two since their youthful days, who expresses himself through fighting. Knowing that a fighter would have to prospect their power at some point he could no longer stand by. Therefore, he promise a reunion after he travels to his homeland of he United States. During his musha shugyō (warrior’s pilgrimage) he had become obsessed with a girl name Eliza, and had lost sight fighting having gained peace of mind. Although his days became brutal, as the event of his reunion would seemingly never come. However, one day Ken receives a computer message that re awakens his fighting spirit. “Wait and see Ryu!”. There might not be anyone that knows more about the fight itself than Ken.
Secret character concept story
In order to take advantage of the fun competitive play style to the fullest we made Ken have equal abilities as Ryu. The only thing left was to make him distinguishable, thus he was given blond hair and a red gi.
Hadoken
This technique uses “ki” from the body enhanced by comprehension, to attack an opponent from a distance and create space. The ki is collected briefly at the abdomen (just below the navel), then afterwards the fighting spirit is launched outward towards the target through the arms, whilst being amplified by the body’s rotational movement. However, there is a substantial amount of recoil and recovery from the rotation. Modern martial arts skip the usage of “ki”, therefore, it can be said that Ryu and Ken’s style goes beyond the realm of martial arts and has attained a status of senjutsu (sage art).
Ken as a fighter
He’s a even match for Ryu, special moves including, he loves to stand out as a way to distance himself from the bland. His strategy consists of rapid succession attacks, although this seems to contrast the aim of his particular style. The best defense is a good offense, making attacking with a risky move all the more satisfying. Ken challenges to over come the future.
Tatsumakisenpuukyaku
The technique Ryu and Ken specialize in that uses rotational movement from the entire body. The whirlwind is produced from the leg at half of a body turn, or one full kicking motion. During this high speed rotation a wind is generated with enough buoyancy to cause the body to hover in mid air. While moving toward the target in mid air the technique is completed with a roundhouse kick. On a side note, during the attack a tornado like wind wraps around the body, which in effect can slip through mediums such as Sonic Booms.

I don’t think the background elements hurt the images. Their faint and don’t draw attention away from the character. I agree with the after-effects. Thankfully Alex artwork is free of fruit roll-ups.
Eh. I’d take a full clean version of this over this any day.

Now I would want it to be Rip Saber. Get us our Canadian wrestler character. But he should ditch the soldier gimmick.
My picks will be

Oni is cool concept
Wraith can be a perfect enemy/nemesis for Dhalsim, Black Widow for Mika

Black Widow imo would be the perfect transition over to SF. Not only does she add a sense of mystery to her gender kinda like Samus Aran, but her techniques are also a very unique mix of unorthodox and familiar looking moves (plus I always loved her unique crawl animation which would be perfect to walk under fireballs).
