It upsets me that Capcom gave T.Hawk’s murdered father a name while Chun’s father didn’t have a name for the longest time. The one he did have wasn’t canonized until now.

Secret character concept story
前作 「 ストリート ファイター 」 でも 主役 だっ た リュウ 。発想 の もと は、 「 やっぱり 主人公 は 日本人 」 という 単純 な 思いつき柔道着 は 、 一目日本人 と 分か るよう に 着せ た とか。 前作 の 初期設定段階 で は 、 隆 ー という 名前 だっ た。
Shoryuken
ストレートの 数倍 の 威力 を もつ アッ パー に 、 全身 の ねじり を 加え た 技 であ る。 ねじり と共に 突き出さ れる 拳 は 強力 では ある が、 大技 で ある ため に 隙 が でき て しまう 。 つまり 、 身体 が ねじれる の は 臥張っ て いる 脚 によって 限定 さ れ、身 体 が 伸び きっ た 状態 で 攻撃 が 終了 し て しまう の だ。 それ を、 身体 を 回転 さ せ ながら ジャン プ を する こと によって、回転運動 を 止め ること なく 攻撃 を 行なえる よう に し た。 これ により 、 隙 の ない 強力 な 攻防 - 体 の 技 が できあがっ た の で ある。

Even though this is a scrapped design for a stage, the statement about the Submarine does mention that Shadaloo possesses one.
I’m glad the one with the giant alien dinosaur didn’t make it.
There’s actually one with dinosaurs, and then one with a giant alien dinosaur.
Although the “dinosaur stage” ended up being New Zealand, and the Top Secret American base stage with the alien was scrapped (it also features the “Iron Giant”)
Also Karin’s death satellite was an idea for a part of her stage, as well as a Haggar cameo appearance stuck in an elevator.
I liked the one with the Chinese Dragon. Hope we get more stages before the end of the year.
