Yeah, Bison has killed far more than Akuma in general. Just look at groups for example:
Wiped out the Thunderfoot tribe, though I suppose the Shadaloo soldiers were apart of the annihilation.
Wiped out the Nguuhao cartel alone.
That’s a lot when you think about it.
Boxer killed one of Sim’s elephants.
Mike killed one of his opponents in the ring.
Gen has assassinated countless people and has a 180% probability of killing those he comes into contact with.
Eagle has gotten salty and killed some fuckers with his dual clubs.
Juri killed countless people in a shopping mall while testing out her Feng Shui Engine
I know the Satsui no Hado might be all flashy, but others have did far more without it.
If anyone cares to know the Street Fighter Resurrection series wrapped today. I would give it 6 out of 10, but I raised it to a solid 7 out of 10 only because of the very end… which is kinda like this…
Depends on what the T in T.Hawk stands for. If his name is a pun on the “tomahawk” weapon, then Arrow makes sense. Arroyo sounds more like a real name.
Since when do we rate the effectiveness of a fighter by how many people has killed? By that logic, Batman is one of the worst fighters in all of media.
(Hilarious semi-relevant sidenote: Captain America > Batman, and Cap has killed dozens of Nazis)
Gouki does not kill willynilly. Regardless, As it is currently, the only one he officially “failed” to kill was Gouken, who obviously has HAX abilities. But I forget: Is it official that he never used SGS on Gouken, only Goutetsu? Perhaps Gouki didn’t even want to kill his brother, merely defeat him to prove he was superior.
Anyway, great thanks to bakfromon for his yeoman service and translating the SFV files. Some fascinating new information in there.
Sagat’s weight is still hilariously wrong though. Everyone else from SF2 has gotten updated (and far more realistic, though still a bit off) stats, I wonder why his hasn’t changed?
BTW bakfromon, you know that BigMex doesn’t work for Capcom and isn’t any authoritative source, right? Not necessarily saying he’s wrong, but he’s not someone I’d quote to reinforce anything.
Akuma wants a fight to the death, but one of several things keep happening:
-He loses and isn’t killed (first fight w/Gouken and his implied SF4 ending)
-He wins but doesn’t kill for some reason related to his code (Alpha Gen, iirc Alpha Ryu)
-He wins but his killing technique doesn’t work (second fight w/Gouken, SF2 Bison, Gill)
Some interesting tidbits I found out about the about the “SF2 Complete Guide” bios is that they include a spider chart for power levels that are not associated with gameplay, which means they must be story related. Also their’s a pretty detailed character relation chart in the back.
I wanted to post Ryu’s (and by extension Kens) and see how they would rank vs the 4 Kings

I’m well aware he’s no authoritative source. It’s just a lot of his blogs do cover some of the backgrounds and histories associated with all fighting games, and are usually interesting reads with well researched sources. I usually quote his pieces to draw uncanny parallels to different subject like Goutetsu being a Chinese immigrant. Sure he’s not in canon, but going by the look of his design (especially now) I would’ve thought Big Mex could be onto something.
To me it could be either one, similar to how the “M” in M. Bison could stand for; Mike, Major, or Master. I know it’s technically supposed to be Arroyo Hawk and his son Thunder Hawk, but I always preferred Arrow and Tomahawk (because of them being Native American warriors I feel they need cool sounding names that reference Native American weapons).
