It’s not April’s fool joke. Remember, the same art of Goutetsu appeared on a Famitsu magazine months ago. All these arts are pretty much official.

About people returning from the dead… I think everybody should be used to it right now. I already was by SF4 days with Gouken, Bison with a third different body at the minimum, Nash in Abel’s vague memories and even GEN (he’s like seriously ill for decades).

Nobody is dead in Street Fighter and this is not new. As nobody is dead in comic books, it’s the same logic.

Damn it bakfromon, you’re supposed to be busy translating! This is embarassing; at least I added the names in another post for convenience.
Interestingly, at 219cm tall, Azam is slightly taller than Zangief, but still behind T.Hawk and Hugo.

Looking like that I’d believe 171… if he was 6’ even not 7’4"

Here is Rik Smits, he is 7’4" he is skinny as hell compared to Sagat, he is 250lbs

Ralph Lee Sampson, 7’4" 227lbs

Priest Lauderdale, 7’4" 325lbs

This is more like Sagat, considering how Sagat IS of course a caricature I’ll give him some leeway, nobody ripped like that if they aren’t a crazy body builder.

Sagat should be at minimum ~260lbs, nothing under 230 would be REMOTELY believable even at 7’ if they are muscled instead of really skinny.

This is of course just a cartoon so shrug

True, I’m just stating that’s probably the thinnest Sagat’s been depicted since SF2 era, which I enjoy because bulky Sagat never appealed to me.

I’ll translate it all eventually, I’m just going over some of the interesting tibits first before laying everything out. It’s interesting reading about some redeeming qualities about El Fuerte , like the fact he was trained by El Stinger from Muscle Bombers! Apparently Abel was injured during an undercover operation at the Shadaloo base and is currently recuperating at the Kanzuki residence. Apparently Goutetsu is a Japanese native (who wears Shaolin clothing imo), but he is a master of bojutsu (stick fighting) as well as ansatsuken. His techniques were (I don’t know how you would pronounce these in Japanese but…)

轟衝拳（掌底を繰り出し波動で吹き飛ばす） (“Roaring Fist Punch” Hadoken?) (blowing in the feed wave the palm bottom)

閃双疾風脚（鋭い横跳び蹴り） (“Double Flash Rapid Style Kick” Tatsumaki) (sharp horizontal jump kick)

閃双空刃脚（上空から強襲する蹴り）(“Double Flash Sky Blade Kick” Akuma dive kick) (Kick to assault from the sky)

I’m assuming Goutetsu didn’t have a Shoryuken…was this Gouken’s contribution?

Gouken’s style is based upon “無の拳” or “Fist of Nothing”, and Akuma may be interested in Necalli, but no reason as to his redesign.

Crazy that, right as you were in the middle of translating all the old bios for us, they start releasing new bios.

I would have. No interest in adding more robots to SF.

Also, something to ponder, is that ACTUALLY a generic Shadaloo soldier? Because among these new images this one of Abel.

Might that images actually be of Abel, undercover as a Shadaloo agent? That agent even stands in Abel’s stance.

Now, I’m only using Google Translate here, but I got this from Azam’s page.

@bakfromon Hate to bother you, but are there any interesting tidbits on Dourai’s page? Like hinting he’s alive? I’m in denial hah, but I’m just wondering if the language is at all implying he’s “lost, but not dead” or confirming he’s flat out dead. Part of me is hoping this is one of many red herring candidates for Q.

They haven’t been posted yet, but they have been uploaded. And since the files have common naming conventions, they’re literally just typing things into the address bar and seeing what comes up.

Sadly, it looks like I won’t be getting the Slim Rufus I wanted to balance out Fat Birdie.

Also, is it too much to ask that he not leave his pubes hanging out just once!!

Heights and weights were also never correct in the whole franchise, basically since sf2.

See I don’t think he’s actually white, I used to (thought he was Charlie (but colour matching his skin pixels is rather dark than what they use, even for shading. Especially his legs when you do down fierce kick or jumping medium) heck even after a while I thought he might have been Birdie (7 foot tall Black guy with blond hair, from the UK). About the UK thing, there used to be a theory that he’s connected there due to something about Q appearing a lot at Dudley’s stage. I can’t remember that detail anymore, but I dunno heh.
