From what I gather in the audio files, FANG refers to Alex as a test body�
[details=Spoiler]Very interesting indeed. It seems Alex has been drugged and kidnapped by FANG. He wakes up in a training room where holographic fighters (that actually have a physical presence) are generated for him to fight while they monitor him. Once they are done, they drug him again and return him to his home.
Never considered the idea that Bison would be interested in Alex, let alone know of his existence. The plot thickens⌠[/details]

I figured they would play up Alexâs mysterious origin to tie him to the story. Very interesting. Could he be from the same project as Abel with fake memories? The plot thickensâŚ

Interesting to point out that the fighting data Shadaloo has on the current roster of fighters is all outdated.

The punch copy Ryu gives Alex actually gives him a scar under his right eye. Does this mean that as his fights progress he covers up injuries with the makeup/tattoos?
Do we know what the significance of the chess piece is?
Maybe it has something to do with the sun figurine Rashid eerily receives?
I interpreted it as FANGâs calling card. That is the Queen piece. In the Asian Subcontinent and Middle East, the Queen is known as the Vazier (âChief/Prime Ministerâ), i.e. the Kingâs second-in-command.
Obv, King = Bison, Vazier = FANG.

i was surprised seeing the story mode for him to have holographic encounter with dan, ryu hond and hakan but not abel. I wonder why they mind control alex? or its just the shadaloo drug that makes him dream. good to see his stomp to be their!!!
It SEEMS like, they drug him, kidnap him to put him in their simulator, then he starts smashing the simulator, so they knock him out again and put him back.
Which is a really weird series of events, so maybe it IS just a dream.
We see the Shadaloo soldiers hiding in the background waiting for the drug to kick in so they can kidnap Alex, so it wasnât just a dream. But clearly that is what FANG intended Alex to believe. The drug was probably in the sandwiches too, which made me wonder if that girl is an accomplice.
Itâs not a dream, before he doesnât have the scar, but when he wakes up, heâs looking at it in the mirror.
So Alex becomes Necalli?
