@“Doctrine Dark” I could’ve swore Rolento was in Alpha 2, can you see if you can find the bio for him in that series. Also if you could make a gallery or galleries of every page of the AAC book starting with the pages you posted on this page of the thread, similar to what @Eternal did with his scans? It would just be easier for me to access in one large sum than constantly having to visit the thread and sift through spoiler links to grab them. Until then I’ll hold off on Rolento’s Zero 3 bio until you can confirm if he has a Zero 2 entry.
yeah Rolento show up in Alpha 2 his stage was the stage you fought him on in Final Fight. well I have a hunch it was the same stage he fought Guy in Final Fight. his theme in Alpha 2 was a remix of Final Fight’s Bay area stage . he did get a remix of his actual Final Fight Boss song until Ultra Street Fighter IV.
Well shit. Just add in Doctrine Dark so you have the whole Rolento/DD/Guile/Nash plot covered.

5more, I posted D Dark. We’re just getting through the main storyline characters before visiting the EX characters. It’ll definitely be done, though.
That’s what I’m saying about SFEX as a whole, it’s like the SF2 story SF2 never had. Going over the Doll entries it just so happens that they’re method of brainwashing is some sort of drug, which Shadaloo just so happens to name SH-11 during the EX series and starts to use against the world (another irony being that the SF2 manga featured a brainwashing drug named Doll).

Interesting point about Charlie and the Rolento fight. I always wrote that off as a random events. Also, didn’t know he founded a band of mercs! That nicely goes with my wish that Charlie’s future should have him as a Big Boss-like anti-hero that wants to tear down the status quo and make a “better world” instead of y’know…redying at the end of this conflict.

Guy SFZ series (Z1/Z2/Z2α/Z3)
武神流忍法 39 代目継承者。 もと は 『ファイナ ルカァイト 』 の 操作 キャラクター の ひとり だっ た。 同作品 で は 、 実戦経験 を 積む ため に 渡米 し メト ロシティへ。 そこで 修行中 に 知り合っ た コーディ ー が 恋人 を 助け に 行く と 聞き 、 「 せっしゃ もす けだち いたす 」 と マッドギア 壊滅 に 尽力 し た 『スト ZERO 』では 、 まだ チンピラ 少年 の ころ に 師 の ゼクウ に 拾わ れ て 武神流 を 会得 し た という 事実 が 判明 。 前述 の メトロ シティ で の 事件 を 通 し て 自分 の 力不足 を 痛感 し 、 より 実戦 に 即し た 忍術 へ と 武神流 を 発展 さ せる ため に ストリート ファイト の 世界 へ 飛びこん だ 。 強者 たち と の 実戦 の なか から 闘い の 極意 を つかん で いき、 最後 に は新•武神流 を 完成 さ せる 。 忍者 として の 性 な の か、 まだ 若 そう な のに 言動 や 思考 が 年寄り く さい。 『ファイナル ファイト 』時代 から 因縁 の ある ソドム に ライバル 視 さ れ て いる。

新しく加わっ た スーパー コンボ 「 武神無双連刈」の 最後 で 以前 は 勝利 ポース の ひとつ だっ た こつ 「悪く思う な 」 の ポーズ を とる よう に なっ た 。
師匠 ゼクウ が 残し た 「 人 の 世 を 乱す現れる時 、 武神 の 影 あり 」 と の 言葉 の 真意 び るため に 出 発。 「 人 の 世 を 乱す者 」 が ベガ と 知る と, 神流 を 背負う者 として 対決 に 挑む。 エン ティング では ベガ を 打ち倒し た のち、 武神流 の 業 の 深 さ に 悩み つつ も それ を 定め と 享受 。 今後 も 鍛錬 に 励む こと を 誓う。 かつて マッドギア を 壊滅 さ せ たさい 共闘 し た 友•コーディー が 自堕落 な 生活 を 送る の を 憂い て は いる が、 あまり 干渉 は し ない。
I take Rolento has a thing for being over dramatic, given he would blow himself up if he lost in Final Fight and some of his loss animations in previous games.
Classy demise. Rolento is one of the characters I played most during the ZERO era.
It’s clever they used that obscure mercenaries detail expanding it for Abel’s IV backstory, but the whole thing clashes with Nash’s revamped death at the hands of Dictator, ZERO2 style. Unless Nash and his team of mercenaries saved Abel before the waterfall meeting. Retcons everywhere.
