Those are awful. Is that guy seriously a fucking yeti?!
SoâŚshe hates him? Wasnât that obvious? I meanâŚyeah. Sheâs riding solo this time eh? Same with nash (although he got those friends but he doesnât seem to care all that much.)
This art is interesting because as we know it depicts SFV in the prototype stages of devlopement.
Translations basically say this depiction of Ryu would have overcome being Evil Ryu and SnH, while Bison is wearing a power suit to strengthen his weakening body and amplify his Psycho Power.
That Yeti is actually concept art of Necalli, so he definitely wasnât intended to be fully human
I think itâs odd that with all those wrestlers and âthrowing friendsâ listed, El Fuerte isnât mentioned at all.
What the fuck kind of Makoto snub is that shit?!

Makotoâs too much of a tomboy for that group, plus Elena is friendly with everyone whoâs a schoolgirl.
Are all of those images concepts that became the four characters we have? I can tell the Chinese guy was FANG, and I assume the woman was early Laura. What were the rest supposed to be though?
Summary of new info with speculation:
-T.Hawk and Hugo are related to the wrestling circuit containing Zangief, Laura, and Mika. T.Hawk could be brought in to accentuate the Shadowloo story, and Hugo could begin his rivalry with Alex.
-Karin knows Elena (interesting detail. Believable, but not that useful as of now)
-Dee Jay, Fei Long, and Blanka have their own things going on. This is probably a âcould happen down the lineâ sidenote
-Dan, Honda, and Hakan are friends now? I mean, Dan does work at Hondaâs sumo training camp in the UDON series, but this is on a whole new level. I donât see this going unused by Season 4.
Overall, this makes me wonder if theyâre planning anything with the characters mentioned above. We know Oro is VERY likely to make Season 2 for story reasons, but one or more of these guys could make it in just for the sake of adding them. In fact, more telling is who ISNâT included in this chart:
-Abel (not in anti-Shadowloo?)
-Rose (You know, her relation to Bison would have been worth seeing)
-Makoto (not known to Karin, Ibuki, Sakura, OR the grappling crew)
-Gill/Urien/Illuminati (probably going to be invisible/shadowy for the first cinematic)
That and the fact heâs supposed to be R. Mikaâs no.1 fan, I find it strange he wouldnât be listed. If I were Mikaâs no.1 fan Iâd wanna be her grappling buddy.
These were all concept characters at one point, but I donât think some of them actually made it to being part of the new 4 we have.
Fang was originally gonna be just another run of the mill Kenpo clone that would fit in with the likes of Yun and Yang so they must have added some things from other concepts going forward.
The old guy in the top left is some sort of scientist that is described as giving âpsychological damageâ, but developers didnât think this would be viable in a fighting game. They might have scrapped this character and joined some of his concepts of dealing a new type of damage with the original concepts of the Chinese fighter named Fang.
Iâm also thinking the guy with the blade arms was absorbed into what became Fang, as this concept is mentioned as being an assassin.
The blonde guy in the white suit is labeled âThe Presidentâ so I donât know what became of him (Rashid maybe?).
The boy with a soccer ball in the top right was the original concept of the new Brazilian character, but they thought the design of a soccer playing fighter was something too close to Robert Miura from Rival Schools.

Besides the fact of Goutetsu being there I think I see something about Geki and Joe at the very bottom. In particular I think I see Joeâs name (ă¸ă§ăź) below the guy in red pants.
This scene, this fight, needs to be canon!
Re: Relationship chart
Usually Capcom will put characterâs names in a chart for a game if at some point they will play a part in the story. Obviously, they wouldnât put Secret Society members because they are members of a SECRET society.
Liking one another is not a prerequisite for working together. Juri hating Bison (something weâve already known) shouldnât realistically stop her from working with him, especially if there is something she likes more than she hates him. It also doesnât mean she is riding solo, it just means Capcom will not disclose her role in the story this early.
So glad Necalli is not a YetiâŚ
That old scientist guy looks a lot like Senoh from SF2AM and Bisonâs SFA2 ending.
Could The President be Gillâs predecessor? Doubt it, but their organization did have Presidents.
Balrog hates both Vega and Fang and has to work under them so liking someone definitely isnât a prerequisite for working with them.
The President is actually described as being a âPresident of a certain countryâ so he would have been a fighting political figure like Haggar it seems.
