That’s because Capcom has no fucking balls in regards to changing their main character. Ryu has always been the same boring-ass Ryu we’ve seen since SF1 (although they did some changes like the hair color)
Do you see how much they changed his appearance in EVERY numerical entry?
And even then, although T3 and T5 or T4 and T7 look similar, they have enough details about them to call them different outfits for the character
Something that Capcom hasn’t bothered to do, and when they finally grew a pair and went for a different look in the Prototype - they backed out and made Ryu the same as he always fucking was
He’s right her name being outside the Shadaloo box, but I’m not sure that her connection to Bison is a vendetta. I can’t really see the character because it’s too blurry, but I don’t don’t think it has anything to do with killing. The arrow that connects her to Bison does not have a bold font label in front of it so I’m guessing the relation isn’t really that important at this time.
I’ll post this grainy pic of the chart I took which you can use to infer a few things about the in game characters relation.
So like, Is there a reason Ken decides to cut his man-bun off in time for Street Fighter 3? Does Bison order Vega to cut it off you think in the full story?
Can’t say for certain because it’s all too blurry, but yea, it looks like red arrows and lines are enemies and blue are allies. There’s also grey ones by Necalli it seems.
Some things I can infer through the blurriness
*Birdie is in between Shadaloo section and Karin’s
*Karin has a line connecting her to Dhalsim’s area to an unintelligible label who I’m assuming is Oro.
*Karin also has arrows pointing towards Birdie, and another set of unintelligible names. The first one I guess is Sakura, which branches off into Dan on the right and someone else on the left (Ibuki maybe?)
*Karin’s section may contain her butlers
*Sakura is directly connected to Ryu and another name label which I can guess is Dan.
*Dan is connected to another label which I can infer is Sagat
*Sagat is Ryu’s rival
*Oro is acquainted with Sim
*Sim’s section also probably contains his wife, his kid, and possibly the cop he’s teaching
*Ryu has an arrow pointing towards Sim. Maybe he’s looking for him in the cinematic storymode which would place him in India.
*Ryu is rivals with Ken
*Ken has his own family section
*Gouken connects Ryu and Ken which possibly branches off to Goutetsu and Akuma.
And that’s pretty much it from what I can tell. I should be getting another better quality picture of that page pretty soon which I can hopefully translate in more detail.
Ken’s hair reminds me of Alex’s in SF3. Now Alex has shorter hair for SFV and Kens the one with bangs and a ponytail.
The chart seems to be a more focused on how characters are related rather than their actual intentions for being related like in the SF4 relation chart.
