Thanks. COuldn’t remember which story he showed up in. Yeah, I suspected he was the boy in 'Rog’s ending, though I wasn’t sure if any other stories talked about. But where did his name come from? I don’t recall him ever being named.

Also, does he have an accelerated growth? The gap between SFIV and SFV can’t be that big for the boy to have grown so much.

Going by what I was told pre-SFIV, Abel/Seth and others are replacement bodies. They were the replacement for the DOLL project - Last I checked, they’re organic, but created artificially instead of using enhanced kidnapped children (LOL, did we ever get an explanation for why Bison would want backup bodies in the form of little girls? Or was it just specifically Cammy that was a backup, while the others were mere high-level shock troops?).

Seth, however, did… something to himself after becoming aware and taking over S.I.N. To this day I’m still not sure what exactly he did. I’m not sure if he altered his body into that of a cyborg, or if he placed his mind into a fully cybernetic body, or what. The whole “Tanden Engine” thing is clearly an artificial construct that Seth uses to enhance his power and was not part of the original organic body template that Abel has (Abel’s body has scars; it wouldn’t make sense if he was a cyborg at any point).

RE: Nash

I think it’s safe to assume that Nash is being used by the Secret Society to either take out M.Bison in Shadaloo or at least assess the latter’s capabilities. I don’t think the SS hate or fear Bison per se; they’re probably just curious as to what he’s up to. Maybe if/when they realise the extent of the Bison’s plans is when Urien steps in and says “You’re fucking with my plans, this shit’s gotta stop”. I suspect that Urien isn’t openly rebelling against Gill at this point (i.e. I’ll bet it will be Gill himself who sends Urien out to handle his personally), but I don’t doubt he’s harbouring resentment all now and if we’re lucky we might even see the seeds of him planning to break away in the future.

BTW, anyone else feel that SF3 series is going to be heavily modified if not retconned out? If they did it to SF2 with SFA3 now effectively merging with SF2/replacing it, I don’t see why SFV wouldn’t do the same. SFV could very well be “Street Fighter Beta”, a fan-name we (?) used to call the mythical game between SF2 and SF3 to explain stuff that went on in-between the main entries as Alpha did between SF1 and SF2, as opposed to SFV “merely” being a sequel to SFIV, like how SFIV is essentially an sequel to SF2/SFA3. In other words, SFV may set up SF3 in a way that Alpha did for SF2 (before eventually becoming it).

Hell, if they continue to add to SFV’s story long enough, it may just indeed ultimately replace New Generation entirely. Depends on what characters they add I guess. But if we were get Oro, Necro, Twelve, and Gill - we’re already getting Alex, Ibuki and Urien - we would have enough of the main players to remake SF3’s story (Dudley, Sean, Makoto, Yun/Yang and the rest aren’t nearly as important story-wise, but of course still be eventually be added to the game).

I was always hoping that they would eventually reveal that Urien and Gill were the other two students, and that Bison actually used to be part of the Illuminati, but, like Urien, didn’t want to follow the society’s plans, but, unlike Urien, instead of trying to take over from the inside, left to form his own organization to try and take the world for itself.

I wouldn’t have a problem with that if they hadn’t given him the Illuminati forehead gem. But since they did, it had better be the Illuminati.

Unlikely. The bindi on Nash, Nash’s artwork referencing the priests in Gill’s Second Impact stage, plus the fact that Urien is 100% coming, all points to the Secret Society being involved here. To what end would it serve making it a new group? That would be a Vince Russo-type bullshit swerve, and not even Capcom would do that.

Watch as Helen turns out to be Kolin’s sister or her secretary or something.

Anyway there’s a picture of Fang at the bottom of the page spouting something off in a scrolling text bubble, of course it’s in Japanese. It’s really long and an eye sore to read all at one time but I managed to see something mentioned about the Dolls.
@TheIlluminati @“The Lone Dragon” or anyone fluent in Japanese would like to provide more suitable translations feel free because it’s a lot of jumbled info.

Oh and Fang also mentions something about the Shadaloo grunts wearing Psycho Power receivers in their helmets, and that they would be changing their outfits from a Mustard color to a Blue color, apparently this happens every 4 years. They’re also learning special techniques like “Shadaloo Punch” and “Shadaloo Kick”.

The whole thing is an eye sore to look at but if anyone want to feel free I’ll leave the full transcript below.

I dislike the idea. For one, it cheapens Shadaloo as something Bison built from scratch. But also, it doesn’t make sense that the Secret Society, having operated in, well secret for 2000 years, would all of a sudden have no problem with a candidate going rogue and basically messing up the place, even if not directly in their name.

Bison training alongside Gill and Urien also doesn’t make sense from a timeline perspective. Barring another retcon, Bison formed Shadaloo twenty years before the events of SF2 (or was it SFA3? I forget at this point). Urien and Gill, however, with respect to their activities in SF3 seem to have come on the scene only recently, i.e. they should be much younger than Bison. True, we don’t know the ages of the characters involved, but there’s nothing to suggest that Gill and Urien are old enough to have trained alongside Bison 20+ years ago.

I can see Bison have trained alongside maybe Gill’s predecessor though. But still very unlikely and unnecessary. Nah, I suspect, much like Gouken’s daughter, that whole “Bison trained alongside two other students” thing has been lost to the dustbin of SF history.

I dunno, I think the theming fits in well with SF’s Hokuto No Ken inspirations.

Where Bison is Raoh, Gill is Toki, and Urien is Jagi. And there is no Kenshiro.

I considered it the idea of Bison being a renegade member of the Illuminati, that abandoned them to form his own thing. Although in my imagination such an event would’ve taken at least several decades before SF2, possibly even several lifetimes if Bison has been body switching. However, this treads on Urien’s story kinda. It also takes away from Shadaloo, giving credence to the Illuminati narrative at the expense of Bison.

I prefer Bison being his own thing (‘The Devil’ of the SF universe basically), and Gill/SS do their divine Eyes Wide Shut thing. I prefer to think that Shadaloo will be instrumental to the fulfillment of their prophecy, whether by sheer coincidence, their subtle influence, or both. I also prefer to think that Nash is a pawn in this and that the Illuminati never intend for him to actually do what he wants to do. Remember, Charlie’s superiors knew he was going after Shadaloo and Bison, but never intended for him to actually reach the man himself. That is when the kill order occurred.

Charlie will get to Bison, and the Illuminati won’t let him stop Bison’s plan. It doesn’t make sense for them to want to stop it and make enemies out of Bison - That is not how they work. They subtle and clandestine, they play all sides to reach their one goal They have been working towards their revelation for 2000 years. They are not gonna fuck it up.

I would love if the Illuminati formed from Europeans that had contact with the Asian roots of the martial arts that later formed into Goutetsu’s ansatsuken. Now, don’t take this to mean that the two would be related…just that some of the individuals from Europe that first traveled to Asia and came into contact with chi-manipulators who would go on to form martial arts disciplines (including SnH ansatsuken) were inspired and took on their own studies into the art. This lead to architectural research across Europe and North Africa that uncovered secrets known by those ancient civilizations like the Egyptians and Greeks. With the basis from Asia and the secrets from the West, they formed countless secret arts and the Illuminati was born.

I’d also make their secret arts VERY diverse, beyond just stuff like “I can make elements!”…like Kolin, for example, might be the master of an art that lets her memorize information at a rate comparable to a computer, letting her keep track of EVERYTHING for Gill. This would also be why she loves him…her secret art lets (nay, requires) her to memorize everything about individuals…which makes her HYPER aware of the small flaws in beings…and that is kind of a turn off when you’re super aware of stuff like that. Gill though? She sees no flaws in him. Gill, meanwhile, has such affection for her because her HUGE breadth of knowledge lets her converse with him philosophically & intellectually as an equal or better. With his education and focus on self-improvement, it is INCREDIBLY rare for someone to be able to keep up with Gill…so he values that highly.

Basically, the Illuminati would be a bizarre mixture of science and mysticism in comparison to the HEAVILY scientific Shadaloo and the entirely mystical martial artists that are common. Philosopher-scientists.

As for connections to Shadaloo? Hmm…I’d prefer they remain separate with Bison making huge headway into Asia & the Americas but struggling to move into Europe, constantly stymied by “unknown” forces working against him…the Illuminati. The Illuminati, meanwhile, are concerned with Bison’s INCREDIBLE expansion and its speed considering it took them hundreds of years to dominate a continent where-as Bison is insinuated into MANY places in a fraction of the time. Gill, as Emperor, however, would be unconcerned, having full faith in the prophecies and believing things are going as foreseen. Urien, being the hot-head that he is, would have some of the Illuminati membership siding with his desire to ruthlessly CRUSH (KILL! DESTROY!) the upstart Bison. That way you immediately have some intrigue in the Secret Society.

I don’t think a lot of them are really suitable for combat, but they could prove effective in other ways. Enero seem’s to act like the leader of the troupe being the one that bark out orders to the others, Marz acquires info and data through hacking and cyber attack, and Aprile’s medical kit seems to be carrying some neurotoxins modified by Fang himself.

They would be interesting challenge mode characters.
