Oh absolutely. As a functional military unit, their skill mix is great. I’m just saying, as playable SF characters, Enero, Fevrier, Marz and Aprile are all awful.
Communications, Sharpshooting, Computers, Medic? These would all make terrible SF characters.
Contrasted against all the other Dolls, which are pretty much all just, Weapon Master, except for Juli. Any of them would make a good SF character.

I often think about the other secret techniques, but I keep thinking about them being physical or offensive. Her seeing no flaws in Gill, and him noticing her knowledge and thus them both being drawn together is GREAT stuff. Like I said a while back, I’m a sucker for small moments. Especially with the Illuminati members having the public and secret faces, it’d be cool to see their “normal lives”, seeing the human side of Gill would be great.

-Enero calls dolls as assists
-Feviere would spray bullets everywhere
-Marz is a spy, and probably would be a Cammy clone most likely
-Aprile can heal and reuse FANG’s poison effect
-Satsuki would play like a SamSho character
-Juli doesn’t have much going for her
-Santamu would fight with her spear and monkey
-The Chinese dolls have face paint and have really acrobatic styles
-Noembelu would be a brute force character with her axes
-Decapre would be more Psycho Powered than in USF4

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m all for yet another playable Doll for the sake of developing their story further. I really don’t know what happened with Decapre at the end of USFIV, but I enjoyed her story. Probably the saddest of all, followed closely by Juli’s (in T. Hawk’s ending). Damn, their stories are so sad! sobs
What do you guys think of Seth normal attack being similar to Gill and Urien… like Decapre, Juni and Juli to Cammy?
Would they come up with new dept in the origin of Gill and Urien that may shock us for those 2 might be just 2 of the Seth clones with fake memories or something delusional… to work with the convenience and interest of shadaloo unnoticed and unknowing for them… like marvel and dc does when twisting things… like another shadaloo plan like dictator did once to Seth making him think to be indepedent but now in a different manner?. .
… or maybe Seth and Dictator just known the existence of Gill and the illuminati that they took inspiration from it? thats why they have similar normals
As for Marz i have speculating her movesets, vtriggers and vskills in capcom unity… in case being made into a character to SFV.
Merz could be someone who has the power of “Translocation” a common skills from KOF universe since she expert of exploration area or Reconnaissance.
While for Santamu could play like Cham Cham or Galford from Samurai Sprits of SFV.
Other dolls base from THE CHUN-LI TIME GAME pachinko game are they canon? or capcom suggestion like sawada?

Thanks much! One of the things that bothers me about modern writing for SF (Udon, I’m looking at you…) is that the characters just seem to come off entirely hollow. You never see anything interesting about them…you just see whatever their “thing” is in the most superficial way. Oh? Fuerte? He’s either fighting or cooking. Ryu? Training or Fighting. Ken? Being with Eliza or fighting. Dhalsim? Meditating or fighting!

It’s why I love scenes like Dhalsim teaching the police officer in SFV…maybe my favorite thing in the game so far for character-development! Or the scene in the animated movie of Ryu giving money to the girl to buy milk for her mother. So minor…but those minor things add so much depth to the characters beyond SUPER DYNAMIC COOKING TIME! (kill me)
I prefer to think of the characters as characters first and foremost and, when I see small things like the relationship between Gill & Kolin I immediately want to know what the deal there is…because I want that depth. On the flipside, whenever I think about or write anything for SF I think that sort of stuff REALLY helps for dealing with characters like Bison and Akuma. What does Bison do when he isn’t fighting? I imagine him sitting in a room, surrounded by monitors…just watching A ZILLION feeds of information about world events…his brain just processing it all not on an intellectual level but on an emotional level…just drinking in the misery in the news feed (which, lets face it, is always negative) and somehow, someway gaining insight from that. Or shit…doing the same thing with STATIC on the screens. Is it understandable? Nope. Is it relatable? Hahah no way. Is it even human? Not even close! And that disconnection from regular human activity when other characters HAVE been shown taking part in actual lives and little moments just makes Bison all the more “WTFEldritchHorror!”-style. Akuma is similar. He is LEGITIMATELY someone that is always training or fighting…and that inhuman activity hi-lights his inhuman nature…though I kinda miss the Alpha days of Akuma selling fruit but returning the money to a child because they need it to grow stronger far more than he ever will. Akuma being an absolute monster veers too close to what Bison should be…and Gouki needs to maintain that spark of remaining humanity from time to time. That way he stays more like Vader…and Bison remains more like the Emperor.

Not sure. But I really want Jianyu (staff user) so we can get a Litch-Faye-Ling/Cammy Hybrid. All punch normals are replaced with staff attacks, and she gets a lot of moves that pole vault and balance on the staff. She can’t do ground Spiral Arrow because of her staff, but has a ton of ways to go airborne for dive kick attacks.

Marz could also be a “portal” user like some qualities dictator have shown in several fight intros in SF4.

And the Shadaloo army design bellow the red hooded guys in fangs drawing could be the one seen in the pandora story of SFxTekken that is 1 level ahead rank than the grunts soldier in SF5.
I’ve been wanting Xiayu for a while now, if she does make it eventually, i’m hoping her V-Trigger is the nunchaku, she can throw it around, spin it, strangle, do so much with it. Her normals I’m hoping they can differentiate them enough from Cammy, maybe with interesting twists on Cammy’s special moves.
The saddest Doll story is by far the Juni short story in one of the UDON comics where Shadaloo tested the limits of her brainwashing by having her murder her mother.
Isn’t that the benchmark test for all dolls though? That does make me question how T.Hawk is alive though.
