You mean you don’t know? Has anyone told about the prophecy of…
Oh wait nevermind, I’m not allowed to say anything.
Yeah, I don’t think Charlie’s skin is anything more than an artificial skin graft. Urien’s skin actually becomes metallic (like Colossus), likely from learning of a Secret Society technique, which wouldn’t be so secret if they just hand them over to newbie Nash.
Oh, I’m pretty damn sure the Illuminati are well aware of the situation with Bison and Necalli and ARE doing something in the shadows, we just don’t see that yet as the SF3 arc hasn’t begun when Gill pushes for creating a Utopia on Earth
Hell, the current Charlie is basically Illuminati’s creation, an actual Frankenstein monster
Necalli can also just as well be connected to Illuminati seeing as both him and the organization itself are VERY old
To be fair, I don’t think they have any intention for Nash to be a part of the Illuminati. It seems like they’re just manipulating him into being their weapon for assassinating Bison. He already possessed the skill and the motivation, they simply gave him the additional tools to get the job done and then pointed him in the right direction.
I really hope we get some focus on the 3rd eye opal soon. Cause it’s one thing that “someone” put Charlie back together, but the designers at Capcom specifically giving him the opal means something (heck Kolin doesn’t even have one, and she’s really special to Gill from what we’ve seen, so for Chuckles to get one must mean something – they don’t arbitrarily give that thing out to their science projects as a sign of branding either. 12 and Necro don’t have anything like that either).
Also note how it’s never glowed in game (not during his CA or other moves, but in the reveal scene in the trailer, it glowed bright and eerie?) I’m thinking it’s during a pivotal moment in cinematic story mode, like Urien and Gill make themselves known, powering up for the final Bison fight, getting some dark-rage inducing news, or maybe as he arrives in the flaming city as we saw in the trailer and he sees the total loss of life and destruction caused by Bison?
I like the idea of the Illuminati utilizing Nash as an option to take Bison down without having to get their own hands dirty. Since Nash is already a capable fighter and likely hates Shadaloo just as much as they do, it’d make sense to indirectly use him to get rid of a common enemy. If Nash succeeds in getting rid of Bison and Shadaloo, that’d be the perfect outcome for the Illuminati; if Nash fails, then it’d just be a minor setback for them. At worst, they’d have a better grasp of Bison’s abilities and what to expect from him for the next battle. Either way, it’s a win/win situation.
Btw, Shockdingo, your Freeza VA in Hyper DBZ is awesome. I love the “Your new God has arrived” line. I could totally imagine hearing your voice in the actual dub. Great work.
Urien: Hahaha, pitiful (adorable) scum! I have killed your father…there is NO way this will come to bite me in the ass at a later date! Hahaha…I’m gonna buy a new suit.
Gill: brother…nooo…no, just no…Biso-
Urien: I CANNOT HEAR YOU OVER THE COMFORT OF ARMANI BRAND SUITS AND SILKEN TIES!
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say since ki is described a lot like light and sound through waves (Hado), some shorter frequencies of the energy would be able to pierce, while other longer frequencies would more blunt.
Like a high pitch squeal may not be able to do much external damage, but have it loud and sharp enough it could burst your ear drums open, and possibly your brain. I would put ki blasts that are able to pierce but do no obvious physical damage here.
Low frequencies like the ones generated from the shockwaves of a sonic boom have the power to throw physical objects, and since Nash is focusing his ki energy into one particular point to form his sonic boom it would cut like a whip (or a laser). It’s doing external damage through the act of fast paced moving energy.
I have always thought that a SF anime would be AWESOME! If Madhouse (or even Pierrot) animated these games, the SF anime would be a great success IMO.

Why do you even waste your time with these idiots, Cipher? Their stupid opinions don’t make a diference in any way shape or form. And that’s all they are: their own stupid opinions. You don’t need to prove anything to them. You’re just wasting your time here.
From the trailer, I’m gonna say Ryu. From the story mode, I hope for Oro. But realistically, Necalli will stop himself once his appetite has been sated by eating someone. But WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO? SUCH A LUST FOR STREET FIGHTERS!!!
My problem with this is that it presumes that SS have something against Bison personally which they have never shown before. Even in Helen’s conversation with Nash, the SS’s demonstrate no motive to actually want to kill Bison. They offered Nash to help him with the information they have and in return Nash has to do something (not yet known) for them.
Going back to that prophecy, I’m inclined to believe that the SS are interested in the apocalypse just like Bison, but for entirely different reasons. But they aren’t gonna get their hands dirty so they will be ‘influencing’ events to make sure it comes to fruition.
There’s one song that I think can enrich us, let us put all our differences aside and come together as a family. A patriotic, beautiful fighting force of justice:
