Well now that it’s clear Capcom isn’t really planning to do anything with the new Street Fighter story in Season 2, it appears that we’ll have to take matters into our own hands. The story had such great potential. A unifying thread, weaving together everyone, across many continents. The secrets of Necalli, and of Urien. Two grand armies facing off in a terrifying battle royale for the very future of our world. What they gave us… not so much. We got to see everyone, but their storytelling and execution leaves something to be desired. With forgetable scenes and bland, stiff or inconsistent characterization, Capcom left everyone hungry for just a little bit more. So don’t you think it’s about time someone did something better? Without further ado, we present: “Street Fighter V: A Shadow Falls”, as it should have been written.
A Shadow Recast: Act 1, Scene 1

*** ACT 1, SCENE 1 ***
EXT. DARK FEATURELESS PLANE
There is nothing here. Everything is illuminated by a
nondescript white light from above.
Open on NASH’s face. He is in his default costume (yellow).
NASH shifts his eyes and narrows them.
CUT TO: ABOVE NASH
CUT TO: FAR BEHIND NASH (LOW)
NASH turns to look behind him. He finds a SHEEP.
A white SHEEP with long wool covering its eyes stares back
at NASH.
SHEEP
Devour.
An inky-black liquid wells up under the SHEEP, enveloping it
as it rises.
The SHEEP transforms into NECALLI who emerges from the
liquid.
NECALLI
The soul wanders… I must devour
CUT TO: BEHIND NASH, NECALLI IN SHADOW
NASH
What in the hell are you?
NECALLI suddenly shifts forward and pounces on NASH
NECALLI
Devour-our-our.
NECALLI snarls
NASH
Damn it!
NECALLI has NASH pinned to the ground and begins absorbing
him.
A glowing butterfly floats into the scene during the
struggle, and distracts both participants. The struggle
calms as the buterfly lands on NASH’s face.
The butterfly expands into wisps of light as NASH wakes.
INT. AN EGYPTIAN STYLE TOMB
NASH awakens startled, and looks around.
NASH sits up, lifting himself out of a stone coffin in front
of large statues of egyptian gods.
NASH turns to see:
HELEN
You have regained conciousness.
It’s a miracle!
HELEN approaches.
HELEN
My name is Helen. I have been
asked to take care of you. Your
nurse, so to speak.
HELEN helps NASH sit up.
HELEN
You had broken bones everywhere.
At first we thought you were
already dead.
HELEN moves down to stare NASH in the eye.
HELEN
Do you remember what happened to
you?
CUT TO: NASH’S FACE
NASH
I remember…
NASH holds his head in response to sudden headache.
INTERCUT: Images of NASH’s death, and BISON
NASH’s headache is over.
NASH
Bison…
NASH sees an IMAGE OF BISON appear in the room.
NASH quickly gets out of his coffin, staggering as he gets
to his feet.
HELEN
You shouldn’t push yourself yet.
You must save your strength!
NASH pushes her aside
HELEN
Ah!
As NASH staggers forward, the IMAGE OF BISON floats backward
out the door, and into…
EXT. FORGOTTEN WATERFALL - NIGHT
INTERCUT: SCENIC VIEW OF THE STAGE
NASH staggers outside, looking around.
The IMAGE OF BISON appears behind him.
[FIGHT: NASH defeats IMAGE OF BISON]
NASH
No escape. I’ll finish you!
NASH throws a Sonic Boom at the IMAGE OF BISON, and
staggers, collapsing to his knee, breathing heavily.
The IMAGE OF BISON sneers, grinning, then
laughs as it slowly dissipates.
HELEN follows him outside.
HELEN
Are you alright?
NASH nods slightly and grunts.
HELEN
Perhaps you needed the fresh air.
Our benefactor will send a chopper
to pick us up. You CAN handle
riding in one of those, yes?
NASH
How do you know so much?
HELEN
I already told you. I’ve been
asked to take care of you. Not
only that. I have valuable
information for you.
HELEN hands NASH a photo.
HELEN
You must find this man and take the
piece he has. You are going to
need it…
NASH takes the photo and looks at it, completely shocked.
HELEN
If you want to defeat Bison. You
do want that, yes? Nice to meet
you, Charlie Nash.
Helicopter blades are heard in the distance.
*** ACT 1, SCENE 2 ***
EXT. APPRENTICE ALLEY - DAY
DHALSIM and his wife SARI are talking. DHALSIM’s back is to
the camera.
RYU approaches the two and DHALSIM turns to meet him.
RYU
Sari.
RYU bows to SARI.
SARI
Hello, Ryu!
RYU turns to DHALSIM.
RYU
I need your help.
RYU takes up a fighting stance.
DHALSIM nods and lands, entering fighting stance himself.
DHALSIM
I will help you.
FIGHT: DHALSIM defeats RYU.
RYU stares at his fist in contemplation, and clenches it.
DHALSIM returns to hovering.
DHALSIM
Your mind is completely calm in
battle, but if you continue to
suppress the Hado, you will be
consumed by it.
DHALSIM floats over to RYU.
DHALSIM
Once again, you need to face the
Hado that you are hiding inside of
you.
RYU
But…
CUT TO: THE SKYLINE ABOVE A NEARBY BUILDING
NECALLI comes flying in, and lands heavily near SARI,
shattering the ground. SARI is standing between NECALLI and
RYU & DHALSIM.
SARI screams.
SARI
Dhalsim!
RYU and DHALSIM immediately turn to face them.
NECALLI
Urraaah!
RYU
What’s that?!
NECALLI
Con-consume your soul!
NECALLI begins to approach, dripping viscious, inky liquid.
SARI staggers backward in terror.
DHALSIM
Sari!
DHALSIM teleports to SARI and takes a defensive stance.
NECALLI immediately turns his attention to DHALSIM.
RYU also takes a fighting stance and engages NECALLI.
NECALLI
I am the jaws of death. The souls
of warriors m-must return to me!
NECALLI V-Triggers.
FIGHT: NECALLI defeats RYU.
NECALLI grabs RYU and throws him across the ground.
NECALLI starts to walk toward RYU.
INTERCUT: RYU struggles to get up, but fails.
As NECALLI is about to reach RYU, DHALSIM teleports in front
of him.
NECALLI growls.
FIGHT: DHALSIM defeats NECALLI.
DHALSIM and NECALLI skid apart.
RYU starts to get up again, this time starting to be
overtaken by the Satsui no Hado.
The scene darkens as the shadow of the Black Moon passes
over the ground, causing the Satsui no Hado to surge more
powerfully.
RYU stands, now overcome by the Satsui no Hado, and lunges
to attack NECALLI.
DHALSIM teleports in front of him and absorbs the attack.
The Satsui no Hado is instnatly dissipated and RYU comes to
his senses.
RYU
Dhalsim!
RYU’s eye catches the BLACK MOON behind DHALSIM.
RYU walks forward, placing his hand on DHALSIM’s shoulder
and brushing past him.
RYU
(shocked & in awe)
What is that…?
INTERCUT: The sky: The Black Moon is beginning to eclipse
the sun.
RYU is entranced by the BLACK MOON.
INTERCUT: The sky: Total eclipse draws closer.
NECALLI looks up at the sun and BLACK MOON.
INTERCUT: The sky: The eclipse is nearly complete.
NECALLI
GETEPE!
INTERCUT: The BLACK MOON fully eclipses the sun.
INTERCUT: RYU contiues staring into the eclipse.
NECALLI looks RYU directly in the eye, and his face fades
into a psychadelic vision.
CUT TO:
INT. RYU’S VISION
A pair of multicolored eyes stare directly at the camera.
BISON appears behind the eyes.
The eyes fade away briefly, but return as the image of BISON
is seen staring at the camera grinning, with empty
white-purple eyes.
CUT TO:
EXT. APPRENTICE ALLEY - DAY (DARKENED)
RYU wakes with a start and staggers backward.
RYU looks around briefly before holding his head as a
result of a headache.
NECALLI melts away into his inky darkness.
RYU and DHALSIM watch him vanish.
RYU
So that… being… It was after
us?
DHALSIM
It appears so.
RYU
… I have to warn Ken!
*** ACT 1, SCENE 3 ***
EXT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
A hoverjet lands, manned by a SHADALOO SOLDIER.
INTERCUT: Closeup on RASHID. He hangs up his cell phone.
RASHID is perched atop the wing of a hoverjet. A SHADALOO
GOON lies unconscious on the ground.
INTERCUT: A chess piece in RASHID’s hand. He is examining
it.
RASHID looks up.
Two SHADALOO SOLDIERS are walking by with a young child, LEI
FEN. She is carrying a tablet.
RASHID
Ahhh, crap!
RASHID leaps down after them, spins in air, and kicks one
SHADALOO SOLDIER’s head to the ground.
The other SHADALOO SOLDIER reels briefly from the surprise,
and LEI FEN gasps.
RASHID lands in fighting stance.
RASHID
I just can’t ignore someone in
distress.
FIGHT: RASHID defeats the other SHADALOO SOLDIER
Only RASHID and LEI FEN remain.
*** ACT 1, SCENE 4 ***
EXT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
RASHID approaches LEI FEN quickly with open arms.
RASHID
It’s OK, you’re free now. We will
get out of here right after I take
care of some business, young lady.
LEI FEN
I can’t leave. Not yet.
RASHID
But why?
LEI FEN
There’s something I need to do.
RASHID
I see.
RASHID pulls out his phone and shows it to LEI FEN.
RASHID
Have you seen this person?
LEI FEN gasps.
RASHID
Please, I must find them. Can you
tell me where they are?
LEI FEN
Over there…
LEI FEN points toward the hangar behind them.
RASHID
Thank you. If you change your
mind, you’re welcome to come with
us when we leave.
RASHID runs off in the direction of the
hangar.
*** ACT 1, SCENE 5 ***
INT. SHADALOO BASE - HANGAR - NIGHT
FANG pursues an unidentified WOMAN in a labcoat down a long
hallway.
The WOMAN flees around a corner as FANG calmly prances down
the hall behind her.
The WOMAN encounters a locked door and hides in the corner
next to storage boxes.
FANG walks up to the door, flapping his arms.
FANG
Hm hm… The smell isn’t bad at
all.
FANG turns abruptly to face the WOMAN.
FANG
But anyone who betrays Lord Bison
is my enemy!
FANG walks up to her corner and stares at her.
FANG
It seems that since you would rather die than
cooperate, I will have to oblige you! It’s too
bad, I do so like that smell.
FANG lunges.
Flashes of FANG’s movement are seen.
CUT TO: VIEW THROUGH A SLOW VENTILATION FAN
CUT TO: CLOSEUP ON FLOOR
FANG runs his fingers through a purple puddle, then smells
them.
FANG
You know, this smells even better.
FANG licks his fingers.
FANG pauses for a moment, then turns his head.
FANG
Oh, you arrived sooner than I
expected.
FANG stands up.
CUT TO: VIEW THROUGH A SLOW VENTILATION FAN
FANG walks off.
CUT TO:
EXT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
FANG walks out of the hangar, arms flapping.
RASHID sees him and staggers back.
RASHID
Hello, good sir. I just came by to
pick up a dear friend of mine. Can
we disuss terms?
FANG
You are just a tiny bit late.
Eheheahahaha!
FANG twirls, laughing.
RASHID stares at FANG.
FANG sees the chess piece in RASHID’s hands.
FANG
Ooh! That’s it!
RASHID
Do you want this? Well, why don’t
we make a trade of this piece for
my friend?
FANG
You talk too much. Just hand over
the piece to yours truly or I will
destroy you!
FIGHT: FANG defeats RASHID
RASHID
Damn it!
RASHID collapses.
FANG
You see? I don’t even have to
finish you off! No one survives my
poison!
FANG walks over and picks up the piece, then searches RASHID
for any others, but finds nothing.
FANG
Rats! He only had one of them.
FANG stands, inspecting the piece.
FANG chuckles in satisfaction and walks back off to the
hangar, as two SHADALOO SOLDIERS take up formation behind
him.
FANG
Now we can let the festivities
begin!
They vanish into the hangar.
*** ACT 1, SCENE 6 ***
INT. KANZUKI ESTATE
A live feed of a wrestling match is being projected on the
wall.
KARIN is standing watching the match.
SHIBASAKI approaches and hands her her phone.
ZOOM OUT AS:
KARIN takes the phone to her ear and phone recordings begin
to play back. She begins to walk slowly away from the
screen.
KEN
(concerned)
Hello, Miss Kanzuki. Did you watch
the news about the Black Moons?
Can you please watch over Eliza and
Mel?
SPY
Status report: Infiltration
successful. Regarding the serial
disappearance of the hackers…
FADE TO:
INT. KANZUKI STATE - NIGHT
BIRDIE is gobbling down an enormous plate of turkey.
IBUKI is sitting next to him, looking bored.
She watches him for a moment then looks up at
the match on screen as KARIN walks out of the
frame on her phone.
CUT TO:
INT. UNDERGROUND ARENA
ZANGIEF and R.MIKA are in the ring preparing for a match.
FIGHT: R.MIKA defeats ZANGIEF
CUT TO:
INT. KANZUKI ESTATE - NIGHT
IBUKI
Why are we watching this anyway?
KARIN walks back in.
KARIN
Rainbow Mika is a promising young
fighter whom I have chosen to
sponsor. Zangief is her hero, so
their matches should prove quite
interesting.
On screen, R.MIKA slams ZANGIEF into the mat. The bell
rings.
KARIN
Besides, it seems she’s doing quite
well. You should watch carefully,
you might end up learning
something.
KARIN
In any case. I have news.
KARIN
Four hours ago, a large object we
are calling the Black Moon was
spotted over Tokyo. There are
reports of similar objects in other
cities as well. So far they have
taken no action, however our
satellite, Red Spider-Lily, is
constantly monitoring them. I have
been in contact with other
organizations including Interpol,
the U.S. Air Force, and Delta Red.
We believe Shadaloo is involved. I
would appreciate your assistance.
On screen, ZANGIEF flexes and nods as another round begins.
ZANGIEF
Mm!
MIKA
All right! Let’s kick some ass!
*** ACT 1, SCENE 7 ***
INT. SHADALOO BASE
FANG walks into the control room and places RASHID’s piece
in the center of the control system.
SHADALOO TECHNICIAN
Key accepted. Beginning the
activation sequence. First Moon
coming online.
FANG
Ehehe.
A large Black Moon-like structure begins to glow in the
center of the room.
BISON appears behind FANG.
BISON
Report.
FANG
Lord Bison! I have recovered one
of the stolen pieces and begun to
activate the first Moon! Terror
and panic will spread like
wildfire! It will boost your Psycho
Power to unimaginable levels!
BISON laughs.
BISON
Very good.
*** ACT 1, SCENE 8 ***
INT. SEAN’S LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
SEAN is sitting on the couch with his game system, watching
the R.MIKA vs ZANGIEF match on a big screen TV.
CUT TO:
EXT. SPACE
A large purple sphere composed of hexagonal tiles hangs in
orbit, pulsing with ominous dark energy: the BLACK MOON.
BISON’s insignia can be seen on one side.
The moon is suddenly electrified with purple energy and the
hexagonal panels around the center expand outward into rings
and begin orbiting the BLACK MOON.
The panels spin around the BLACK MOON before realigning as
the moon flashes with a bright white-purple light.
More panels separate and spin, orbiting quickly around a
brightly glowing core at the center of a now-open hexagonal
grid.
The hexagonal panels suddenly realign and return to their
original positions.
The moon emits a large white-purple enegy pulse which
envelops Red Spider-Lily, which has served as the camera
up until this point, and overtakes the entire screen.
CUT TO:
EXT. NEW YORK - THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE
The pulse can be seen in the sky as a bright light, which
grows in intensity.
CUT TO:
EXT. NEW YORK - VIEW THROUGH SKYSCRAPERS
The giant pulse now covers the entire sky and continues
expanding.
A traffic light blinks and goes dark.
CUT TO:
EXT. NEW YORK - SKY
The bright city lights go out, district by district until
the city is completely dark.
CUT TO:
INT. SEAN’S LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
It is the height of the match between Zangief and Mika.
The TV blips and goes to static, then “NO SIGNAL”.
SEAN groans and flops onto the couch.
*** ACT 1, SCENE 9 ***
EXT. SPACE
The wreckage of Red Spider-Lily floats next to an active
Black Moon.
CUT TO:
INT. KANZUKI ESTATE - NIGHT
The match is being projected on the wall.
IBUKI and BIRDIE are sitting at a table.
BIRDIE is eating, ravenously.
IBUKI has her head propped up on her arms, and is watching
the match.
The screen goes to static.
IBUKI perks up.
CUT TO: BEHIND KARIN
KARIN stands watching the static on screen.
CUT TO: IN FRONT OF KARIN
KARIN
Shibasaki!
SHIBASAKI steps forward from behind her.
SHIBASAKI
Yes.
SHIBASAKI
According to a report from our data
processing department…
ZOOM IN on KARIN while SHIBASAKI speaks.
SHIBASAKI
…a strong high altitude
electromagnetic pulse has
apparently gone off above New York.
KARIN’s eyes narrow and she turns and walks away.
IBUKI notices this and and watches her exit.
BIRDIE continues to eat.
PAN TO:
EXT. KANZUKI ESTATE - NIGHT
KARIN steps outside.
KARIN
I’d venture to guess that is the
cause.
SHIBASAKI
It seems as though one of the seven
has been detonated.
SHIBASAKI
Unfortunately, Red Spider-Lily has
been affected and has shut down.
PAN TO: THE SKY OUTSIDE THE KANZUKI ESTATE
KARIN looks up at a BLACK MOON hovering near the moon
in the sky above the estate.
CUT TO:
INT. KANZUKI ESTATE - NIGHT
KARIN walks back inside and down the hall.
SHIBASAKI follows her.
KARIN
I want a report tomorrow morning.
IBUKI gets up and quickly follows her, joining formation
with SHIBASAKI.
KARIN
Whoever did this better prepare.
KARIN punches into her palm.
FADE TO:
*** ACT 1, SCENE 10 ***
INT. US AIR FORCE BASE - DARK
Several SOLDIERS are sitting in front of terminals
underneath a large display showing a map with many flashing
red markers. A COMMANDER stands behind them.
SOLDIER 1
No estimate on recovering power!
SOLDIER 2
The Black Moon went off over a wide
area, damaging these seven parts of
the city. As a result, we’ve lost
all communications in those areas.
GUILE walks in.
GUILE
It’s hard to believe Shadaloo
managed to get this kind of
technology without us knowing about
it.
COMMANDER
Indeed. If only Nash were here,
w–
The COMMANDER trails off and looks at GUILE.
GUILE
Perhaps we should focus our efforts
to locate the missing hackers on
New York. This has to be related.
COMMANDER
You won’t be going alone. Your
favorite Interpol operative is here
too.
CHUN-LI
Hello!
SOLDIER 1
Generators coming on!
The lights in the room suddenly come on.
GUILE
Glad to see you.
*** ACT 1, SCENE 11 ***
EXT. CITY IN CHAOS - EVENING
A BLACK MOON with visible ring hovers over New York.
PAN DOWN.
A SHADALOO SOLDIER is standing in the street.
FANG dances, laughing, in the lobby of the bank.
FANG
Niiiahahahaha! The AS
demonstration was a complete
success! The bank fell like
nothing, and think of all the
delicious chaos they are causing!
BALROG
So? What happened to the other
places? Why the hell haven’t the
other moons gone off?
FANG sighs and flops forward, before looking sharply back up
at BALROG.
FANG
Did I ever tell you that you have
the attention span of a 5 year old?
FANG
I already told you. The other
control keys were stolen by that
programmer. But since I took quick
action to recover one of the keys,
I’ve destroyed all this city’s
electrical functions! Quite an
accomplishment I might say.
FANG flourishes in front of the City in Chaos, then turns
back to face BALROG and VEGA
FANG
Speaking of which, what were you
two doing all this time that I was
working so hard?
VEGA
Ha! Look who’s talking. Did you
forget that you were in charge of
this plan? And it was you who let
a programmer steal the control
keys. I would say that’s a huge
disgrace! It’s obvious who should
be taking the blame for this.
Besides…
FANG
Tread cautiously when you dare say
such insolent things to me! I
successfully enacted Operation
CHAINS! The fact that the
programmer escaped so easily is all
because you two are incompetent.
FANG, BALROG and VEGA stand off.
FANG turns to look at a swirl of psycho power appearing in
the air.
BISON appears.
BISON
My generals are all killing each
other? This is delicious
entertainment!
FANG
Oh! It seems Lord Bison’s Psycho
Power has become even more
powerful!
FANG walks up excitedly and bows.
FANG
This proves the power of my PSA
weapon! If operation CHAINS
succeeds, Lord Bison will be all
powerful and invincible!
BISON
No need to discuss the obvious.
Now tell me the current status of
the other device.
FANG
Yes lord! Over here.
FANG indicates two SHADALOO SOLDIERS who rush into place
behind him.
FANG
These two soldiers have been able
to gain strength from your Psycho
Power, Lord Bison! Until we get
all the control keys back, we will
spread even more fear and despair,
so that we can add more strength to
you, my lord!
BALROG spits.
BALROG
Just a couple of puppets!
FANG spins toward him.
FANG
Ju… ju. ju. just!

What’re you doing?
FANG
Oh please don’t be like that. Both
of you, why don’t you test them out
at least once? Certainly two
powerful fighters like yourselves
are not frightened by puppets like
them?
VEGA
How silly! Do you think you can
fool me?
FANG flaps and steps back behind the SHADALOO SOLDIERS.
FANG
You are already fools!
BALROG
Bastard!
FIGHT: BALROG and VEGA defeat SHADALOO SOLDIERS 1 and 2
BALROG
You piece of crap! Now it’s your
turn!
VEGA and BALROG face off against FANG.
FANG prepares to fight.
FANG
Hm?
FANG notices CHUN-LI and GUILE approaching.
BISON sees this as well, and grins.
CUT TO:
EXT. CITY IN CHAOS - EVENING
CHUN-LI and GUILE are running up towards the bank.
GUILE
It must be here.
INTERCUT: Defeated police officers are lying in the street.
CHUN-LI catches sight of BISON hovering in the air.
CHUN-LI
Bison!
BISON lands in front of FANG, VEGA and BALROG, and releases
a burst of Psycho Power.
CHUN-LI
All of them?! We need backup!
Retreat!
BISON
You were foolish to come here,
girl.
CHUN-LI starts to run, but BISON teleports in front of her,
blasts her back to the City in Chaos stage, and laughs.
GUILE
Chun-Li!
GUILE moves to assist CHUN-LI, but VEGA stops him.
VEGA
I will be your opponent.
CUT TO:
EXT. CITY IN CHAOS: BANK - EVENING
BALROG
(To FANG)
Come on! Let’s get the money!
FANG looks at the combatants.
FANG
Hmph!
FANG moves to assist BALROG.
CUT TO:
EXT. CITY IN CHAOS: STREET - EVENING
FIGHT: BISON defeats CHUN-LI.
FIGHT: GUILE defeats VEGA.
GUILE uses his V-Trigger to defeat VEGA.
BISON
(To CHUN-LI)
Now it is time to finish you!
BISON begins charging Psycho Power.
CAMMY
I think not!
CAMMY runs in and hits BISON with a Turn Knuckle,
then a Cannon Spike.
The kick barely tilts BISON’s head and he simply stands
there, unaffected.
BISON grins.
BISON
So the bee returns to the hive.
You’re a bit late, my dear.
CAMMY glares at him.
GUILE picks up CHUN-LI behind her.
CAMMY helps GUILE with CHUN-LI, and they run.
BISON scoffs and directs VEGA to follow them, before turning
and walking back toward the bank.
*** ACT 1, SCENE 12 ***
EXT. STREETS OF NEW YORK - EVENING
GUILE, CAMMY and CHUN-LI are fleeing.
ALEX
Hey! Over here! This way!
ALEX waves them over and disappears into an alley.
CAMMY and GUILE look at each other, and follow.
EXT. STREETS OF NEW YORK - NIGHT
They stop running, in another part of New York.
GUILE helps CHUN-LI onto the hood of a car. She sits.
ALEX
Who ARE those guys.
CAMMY checks CHUN-LI over.
CAMMY
Shadaloo. We’ve been after them
for a long time. They’ve hurt a
lot of people. Bison is their
leader.
ALEX
The glowy guy?
CAMMY
Yes.
CAMMY finishes checking on CHUN-LI and turns to face ALEX.
ALEX
What are they doing here?
CAMMY
They seem to be sowing chaos and
destruction. Bison feeds on it.
That’s why he was so powerful just
now.
ALEX
And the thing in the sky?
CAMMY
The Black Moon is theirs. There
are seven of them.

This is almost certainly the
work of our hackers.

There’s a group of hackers and
scientists that have gone missing.
Their ages, genders, nationalities
all vary. Some of them were very
young…
GUILE
We’ve suspected Shadaloo was behind
it. Now it seems we know what
happened to them.
CAMMY
They must’ve coerced them to build
the Black Moons.
CHUN-LI
Yes.
CAMMY
Ah. That reminds me…
CAMMY takes out a wrapped package.
CAMMY
This package. An interpol agent
was trying to deliver it to you
before the Black Moons appeared.
Shadaloo attacked him.
CAMMY hands the package to CHUN-LI.
CAMMY
The sender is unknown. Why he was
attacked is also unknown, though I
can guess.
CHUN-LI opens the package to reveal a piece.
GUILE
It’s the same!
GUILE pulls out a similar piece of his own.
ALEX
I have one of those too! It just
showed up last week. I’ll go get
it.
ALEX leaves.
CAMMY
These must be the control keys.
But why would he have one?
CHUN-LI notices NASH and turns to look at him.
INTERCUT: NASH is walking up.
GUILE turns to look as well.

CAMMY shifts to ready stance.
CHUN-LI moves to greet him.
GUILE

GUILE stops her.
GUILE
(wary)

GUILE steps forward.
GUILE
If you are who you seem to be, show
me.
GUILE takes up fighting stance.
FIGHT: NASH defeats GUILE.
GUILE staggers, then activates his V-Trigger and fires
several Sonic Booms at NASH, who reaches out his hand and
absorbs them. NASH stares at his hand, surprised.
NASH
What’s happening to my body?
GUILE

EXT. STREETS OF NEW YORK (NEARBY) - NIGHT
ALEX is returning to the group with his piece.
GUILE, CHUN-LI, CAMMY, and NASH can be seen in the
background.
A tornado swirls in in front of him.
The tornado dissipates, leaving RASHID and AZAM.
RASHID
I am Rashid of the Turbulent Wind!
And I believe you have something
very dear to me.
ALEX
What the…? Are you with those
other guys?
RASHID
So could you please give it to me?
It’s very important and-
ALEX takes a fighting stance.
RASHID
Woah, hey there! I’d really rather

and I’ll be on my way. Believe me

ALEX cricks his neck.

ALEX
This guy? He looks like he got hit
by a truck.

I don’t know the whole story yet,
but we can trust him.
CHUN-LI nods.
ALEX

ALEX hands NASH the piece.
RASHID has recovered and runs back in.
RASHID

RASHID sees NASH and the pieces. He is startled.

NASH stares at RASHID, then activates his V-Trigger and
teleports away.

RASHID looks around and sighs dejectedly.
AZAM
Master…
RASHID spins, kicking up a tornado. AZAM steps into it, and
it rises into the sky and vanishes.

wearing his red costume.

Well, I would like to talk about

Alliance Journal. The deadline

RASHID cuts the recording off, sighs, and lays his head down
on the bar.
ZOOM OUT:
AZAM is sitting at the bar next to RASHID.
AZAM
Master…
RASHID hears something and turns his head to look.
The door has been shoved open, and NASH is standing in the
doorway.
AZAM and RASHID both turn to face him.
RASHID
You… Ah, now I understand. You
were also receiving similar
information.
NASH walks in then turns to look at HELEN.
HELEN is sitting at a table, going through a book.
She closes the book, stands, and walks toward NASH and
RASHID.
HELEN
I guess you two have already met
each other.
HELEN
(To RASHID)
This is Nash, one of our associates
who’s tracking pieces.
RASHID
You’re tracking pieces? But why
would you want them?
RASHID suddenly catches a piece, thrown by NASH, and looks
at it.
RASHID
What?
HELEN
He has no interest in the pieces
themselves. He plans to fight
against Bison, so he doesn’t want
them to get into Shadaloo’s hands.
HELEN
(To NASH)
Good work, acquiring them.
NASH glances at the door as it bursts open.
JURI stands in the doorway, pushing the door open with her
foot.
HELEN
You’re surpisingly on time, Juri.
JURI walks in, looking over NASH and glancing at RASHID.
JURI
So those are your personal toy
soldiers. They look kinda dim to
be fighters.
HELEN
Oh my, so you don’t trust my keen
eye for talent?
JURI approaches and circles HELEN.
JURI
Heh. If you’re that confident,
then let me try them out. Let’s
see…
JURI walks up and examines NASH, then turns suddenly, and
grins at RASHID.
JURI
How about you!
RASHID
No no, there’s no need to fight!
JURI
Time to play!
JURI backflips into her fighting stance and leers at him.
RASHID
Ugh… Fine.
RASHID forms a small whirlwind and settles into his own
fighting stance.
FIGHT: JURI defeats RASHID.
RASHID spinflips back and wobbles.

Erg… ugh. C’mon. Enough already!
JURI
If you’re not going to fight me
seriously, then you can just die.
JURI returns to her fighting stance and prepares to lunge at
RASHID.
AZAM steps forward.
AZAM
Master!
HELEN claps sharply, getting the group’s attention.
HELEN
Enough already. Now, let me
explain why I gathered all of you
here.
JURI glares at HELEN, and returns to pacing.
HELEN
The black moons.
HELEN
One moon has turned all of New York
into chaos.
HELEN starts walking around the group, passing by RASHID.
She runs her hand over his shoulder as she passes.
HELEN
What if we could stop them with
these?
HELEN shows the pieces RASHID had been holding.
RASHID
What?! How did you…?
HELEN tosses them back to him with a satisfied chuckle.
JURI
Hmm? Are you saying a little piece
like that can control those moons?
HELEN
That’s not the whole story.
Sadness, chaos, fear, hatred,
despair. The moons can bring out
extreme negative emotions. And,
negative emotions are what Psycho
Power feeds upon to grow stronger.
From the chaos unleashed by the
moons, Psycho Power would grow
immensely. It would become the
ultimate power! That is the goal
of Shadaloo, and Bison.
HELEN completes her circle around the group, turns to face
them, and clasps her hands.
HELEN
So now it’s time for us to destroy
Shadaloo’s beautiful plan!
JURI licks her lips.
JURI
Doesn’t sound half bad.
NASH
My only goal is to kill that man…
Kill Bison!
HELEN
If they obtain all the remaining
pieces, Psycho Power will become
unbeatable. If you want to defeat
Bison, you must stop that.
HELEN turns to RASHID.
HELEN
Additionally… we have found
evidence, linking those missing
hackers to the devleopment of the
Black Moons. The one whom you seek
is among them. Am I correct?
RASHID looks down at the pieces in his hand.
HELEN
If so, isn’t it more efficient to
all work together?
RASHID
That makes sense… But wait!
RASHID turns and points to JURI.
RASHID
What are you doing here? What do
you get out of this? And you!
RASHID points at HELEN before turning back to JURI.
JURI slowly circles.
JURI
Let’s just say I have a score to
settle with the Master of Shadaloo.
JURI traces her finger over her eyepatch.
JURI
An eye for an eye, you might say.
RASHID
I see…
HELEN
As for me–
URIEN appears behind HELEN, startling her. She turns
quickly and collects herself.
URIEN
So you’re putting together secret
plans in a place like this? You
rat!
HELEN
Lord Urien.
HELEN bows.
URIEN walks forward, looking over the group, then turns to
look at NASH.
URIEN
So this is your precious clay doll.
HELEN steps up next to URIEN.
HELEN
I truly appreciate the support you gave–
URIEN raises his hand to silence her.
URIEN
Since I helped in its creation, I
came here to see the fruit of my
efforts. I hope my tech didn’t
make an average puppet.
HELEN
I’m sorry to say–
URIEN
Not one more word!
URIEN assumes a fighting stance.
FIGHT: URIEN defeats NASH.
NASH falls to his knees.
URIEN steps forward and angrily raises his fist to strike
NASH again.
RASHID steps forward and catches his arm mid-swing,
struggling to hold URIEN back.
RASHID
Stop acting so violent to him!
Aren’t you satisfied?
URIEN
Don’t touch me.
RASHID
Huh?
URIEN
Commoner! Get that filthy hand off
me before I make you regret it!
URIEN turns and blasts RASHID back with a charged burst of
lightning which forms into an Ageis Reflector, knocking him
away.
RASHID staggers back and prepares to fight.
HELEN steps forward.
HELEN
Lord Urien, I beg you to please
calm yourself down.
HELEN bows.
URIEN takes a breath and looks at her.
URIEN
Fine then.
URIEN scowls and turns to leave, waving his hand
dismissively.
URIEN
Do as you wish. I will be watching
you all with great amusement.
HELEN walks up to NASH as URIEN walks out into the blizzard.
HELEN
I’m very sorry. I didn’t realize
that you still haven’t mastered how
to use your body. But that’s not
your fault. Becuase sadly, you are
already dead.
RASHID and AZAM turn to her in surprise.
RASHID
What?! That’s a joke right? Huh?
Are you serious?
NASH tries to stand, but HELEN places her hands on his
shoulders, indicating that he should not get up. She kneels
in front of him.
HELEN
Close your eyes. Unfortunately, I
can’t touch your soul. But, that
doesn’t mean I can’t give you a
little bit of help. Here…
HELEN gently places her finger on the gem on
NASH’s forehead, and it begins to glow. NASH
closes his eyes and seems to relax.
RASHID steps up behind her to watch more closely.
RASHID
Wha-What? What you just said was
the truth? He’s really dead?
The glowing energy swirls, and is absorbed into NASH’s gem.
HELEN stands.
HELEN
How’s that? You should be feeling
better.
NASH stands as well.
RASHID
So wait, he’s really dead? And you
revived him?! How did you do that?
JURI
Oh, shut up already. You’re like a
yappy child.
RASHID
(offended)

JURI
Uh huh, well I think that’s enough
evidence for one day.
RASHID

RASHID moves to fight JURI.
The door slams open again, letting in the cold winter storm.
They turn to look.
NECALLI enters.
JURI
Looks like a wolf’s shown up to eat
Little Red Riding Hood here.
NECALLI surveys them.
NECALLI
The jaws of death… devourrrr.
JURI steps forward in response to his challenge.
JURI
Not if I eat you up first…
FIGHT: JURI defeats NECALLI.
NECALLI stares at her, and melts away into dark inky
liquid.
NECALLI

NECALLI melts away completely.
RASHID
What in the hell was that?
HELEN
A nuisance. But he has his uses.
HELEN turns back to the group and RASHID.
HELEN
I didn’t quite explain myself
before. Let me just say that I
utterly despise Bison… but
there’s another man more suitable
to lead this world. That is why I
want to destroy Shadaloo. Is that
satisfactory?
RASHID sighs

I suppose.
HELEN
So now, we are all comrades in
arms. For at least as long as
Bison still lives.

EXT. KANZUKI ESTATE - DAY
KARIN and SHIBASAKI walk along the outside of the estate
towards the Kanzuki Estate stage.
SHIBASAKI
That is all from the family
Ninjas. We also received a
report…
RASHID tumbles down from the roof of the building on the
left of the stage, and lands in front of her. AZAM lands
behind him.
RASHID
You are…
RASHID stands and steps forward.
RASHID
You are exactly as Helen described
to me.
KARIN raises her hand, and SHIBASAKI steps back.
KARIN
And you are a guest who lacks any
manners.
RASHID
Do you know about a piece that has
this shape?
RASHID draws an outline in the air.
RASHID

KARIN
Alright! You can fight for it!
KARIN steps into stance.
RASHID

RASHID staggers back.

his arm back as leverage.

something to do with the appearance
of the Black Moons?

fighting strength, and great
wisdom. I’ll talk!
RASHID suddenly rolls forward out of the hold, then flips
around to face her. He shows the pieces, which he has just
stolen from her.
RASHID
I’m sorry, but I’ll never use them
for evil purposes. You have my
word. I don’t know if you believe
me or not, but it’s true. I
wouldn’t lie to a Kanzuki.
RASHID jumps back onto the roof, and continues to jump away.
AZAM follows him.
KARIN watches them leave, then raises her hand.
A KANZUKI NINJA drops into place next to her.
KARIN
Follow him.
The KANZUKI NINJA nods, then turns and dashes offscreen
after them.
KARIN watches her leave.
KARIN
Shibasaki, contact all the top rank
fighters on my list.
SHIBASAKI bows.
KARIN turns and walks back into the estate.

EXT. FORGOTTEN WATERFALL - DAY
RYU is kneeling in meditation.
KEN walks in.
KEN
Hey!
KEN waves.
KEN
How’s your special training?
RYU
I’m glad you’re here. There’s
something I need to tell you.
KEN
Hm? Sure. But first, let’s see
what you’ve learned!
RYU nods, stands, and takes his stance.
FIGHT: KEN defeats RYU.
KEN
That was close, but you felt off.
RYU nods again.
RYU
I have been having trouble with
the Satsui no Hado. But there’s
something else.
KEN
What is it?
RYU
I was training in India. I went to
Dhalsim for help.
KEN
Oh hey, how’s he doing?

After we fought, a… something
appeared. I don’t know if it was a
man or a beast. He attacked us,
and he said something about
consuming the souls of warriors.
KEN

He defeated me. But then I saw
this thing in sky. It was like a
black moon, and the Satsui no Hado
overtook me.
KEN

Dhalsim stopped me, but when I
looked into the moon, I had a
vision. I saw that thing again,
and then he was gone. It’s like he
melted away into the darkness.
A KANZUKI NINJA drops into place nearby.
KEN turns to her.
KEN
You’re one of Kanzuki’s ninjas.

Shadaloo is using the Black Moons
to drive the world into chaos. The

from the world’s best fighters to

KEN looks at RYU and nod.

I… don’t know if I can stay in

I understand. I’ll take care of

R.MIKA and IBUKI can be heard off screen.
R.MIKA
What did you say?! Don’t act so
arrogant! You picking a fight with

CUT TO:
INT. KANZUKI ESTATE - DAY
IBUKI and R.MIKA facing off.
IBUKI
Arrogant?! I’ve been working here
longer than you have! And then you
come in acting all bossy!
R.Mika growls.
They glare at each other and then walk off, completely
focused on their squabble.
R.MIKA
I’d beat you to a pulp!
IBUKI
I’m the one who’ll beat you to a
pulp!
KARIN enters as they leave, ignoring them.
KARIN
Thank you for waiting.
PAN TO: CAMMY and SHIBASAKI are standing just off screen, at
the edge of the Kanzuki Estate stage.
CAMMY
Did your resources find any more
information?
KARIN waves to SHIBASAKI, holding a piece in her hand.
SHIBASAKI takes a step forward.
SHIBASAKI
As of now, we were able to acquire
a master list. The list of all
people that pieces were sent to.
Additionally, we’re also
investigating who else might have
access to that list.
KARIN turns to CAMMY.
KARIN
And what have you found out?
CAMMY
The Black Moons were created by
Shadaloo using the hackers they
supposedly kidnapped. These
pieces…
CAMMY points to the one in KARIN’s hand.
CAMMY
Were likely made by the hackers.
Additionally, Guile is contacting
our colleague who has infiltrated
Shadaloo. We hope he has more
information to share.
KARIN
Working undercover. That sounds
interesting.
KARIN takes a step outside.
KARIN
If that’s the case, then Shadaloo
wants these pieces, and we must not
let them have them.
KARIN turns back to face CAMMY and SHIBASAKI.
KARIN
We’ll begin our operation when we
hear from Guile.
They hear footsteps behind them, and turn to see DECAPRE,
MARZ, and two SHADALOO SOLDIERS on the roof of the side
building.
CAMMY
Decapre!
They jump down from the roof, landing in front of CAMMY and
KARIN.
DECAPRE sees CAMMY and immediately turns toward her.
DECAPRE
Killer Bee!
KARIN steps forward.
KARIN
Excuse me, I believe you have not
properly introduced yourself.
CAMMY turns to SHIBASAKI.
CAMMY
Get help! I’ll hold her off!
DECAPRE lunges at CAMMY, pushing KARIN aside.
DECAPRE
Out of my WAY!
KARIN stumbles back a step, and is intercepted by MARZ and
the SHADALOO SOLDIERS.
The SHADALOO SOLDIERS attack KARIN, pushing her back and
forcing her to defend against their powerful attacks, until
she finds a moment to go on the offensive and blast one of
them into a wall with a Meioken.
MARZ looks around in a panic.
MARZ
Aren’t they getting enough power?!
MARZ frantically presses some keys on her laptop, causing
the SHADALOO SOLDIERS to glow with a new surge of Psycho
Power and rise back onto their feet.
One of the SHADALOO SOLDIERS swings a heavy blow at KARIN,
but she ducks under it, seizing the opportunity to hit him
with a Tenko, knocking him over and away. She then dashes
forward again, hitting the second SHADALOO SOLDIER
with Orochi, causing him to crumple.
KARIN takes them both down again seconds later, then steps
forward toward MARZ.
KARIN lunges at MARZ with another Tenko.
At the last second, MARZ flips her laptop closed and raises
it to block the attack, staggering back from the force of
the blow.
FIGHT: KARIN defeats MARZ.
FIGHT: DECAPRE defeats CAMMY.
KARIN takes down MARZ and pins her, then turns toward
DECAPRE and CAMMY.
CAMMY is on the ground, struggling to stand.
DECAPRE teleports onto CAMMY, her Psycho Power blades
extended from her gauntlet.
DECAPRE raises her hand to kill CAMMY.
INTERCUT: DECAPRE’s first person view: DECAPRE meets CAMMY’s eyes.
INTERCUT: Everything flashes white.
DECAPRE groans, stumbles back, and puts her hand to her
head.

projected into it. It darts around slightly.

hand is placed on her cheek comfortingly.

Close in on the sides of two tanks. Each one contains a
young woman.

DECAPRE stagers backwards, shaking her head, before
turning and leaping back up onto the roof.
IBUKI and R.MIKA come running out of the estate.
IBUKI prepares to chase DECAPRE.
CAMMY pushes herself up and grabs IBUKI’s wrist.
CAMMY
No! She’ll kill you, she’s only
trained to kill…
DECAPRE sways, taking one last look back at the group before
teleporting away, leaving MARZ and the incapacitated
SHADALOO SOLDIERS behind.
CAMMY is left standing there, staring at the rooftop, lost
in thought.

EXT. KANZUKI ESTATE - DAY
KARIN finishes tying up MARZ with one of BIRDIE’s chains,
and walks back across the stage.
BIRDIE sits down next to MARZ, acting as her guard.
SHIBASAKI is waiting for KARIN at the entryway to the manor.
SHIBASAKI
Ms. Kanzuki, Guile has arrived.
KARIN
Thank you, Shibasaki.
KARIN walks past him to find GUILE waiting for her in the
ballroom.
KARIN
Guile, welcome. What have you
found?
GUILE
The pieces are keys to control the
Black Moons. When the control
device recognizes the piece, its
program can be activated. But more
importantly, the same pieces can be
used to activate their shutdown
program.
KARIN
I’d bet that the control device is
in the Shadaloo base. Is there
anything else to report?
GUILE
Shadaloo has the same list.
They’ll be going after them.
GUILE hands her the list of people who received control
pieces.
KEN, DHALSIM, CHUN-LI, and ZANGIEF walk in.
KARIN
Good. Now everyone is finally
gathered.
KARIN turns to KEN.
KARIN
With the exception of Ryu?
KEN shrugs, apologetically.
KARIN
(To Zangief)
Oh my! According to the list, one
of the pieces should have been sent
to you.
ZANGIEF
Da! I remember! I received some
little thing in package. I was
busy on wrestling tour, so I left
it with friend.
KEN
What? Are you serious?
KARIN
Can you say where your friend is

ZANGIEF
I think… he is in India. I will
go get it.
ZANGIEF slaps KEN on the back jovially, but a bit too hard.
KEN stumbles.

One was sent to a wrestler in New
York, and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
artist.

We met the wrestler earlier. He…
no longer has his piece. It was
taken by a colleague of mine. I
don’t know where he is, but he
hates Shadaloo. Whatever he’s
planning… We can trust him.
KARIN
I see. Nevertheless, Shadaloo will

KEN sets MEL down.

Ehahaha, alright. I promise that
when you can do a hadoken, we’ll go
together.
MEL steps back and practices his hadoken.
MEL

KEN
Ahaha! Awesome! Now while daddy
is away, you’ll have to protect
your mommy.
MEL
Yes!
MEL continues practicing his hadoken.
CHUN-LI, who was watching, walks off and leans on the wall
next to CAMMY.
CHUN-LI
It’s nice to watch them play.
CAMMY
I think… Ken shouldn’t have to

should stay here and protect them.

There are some battles he can’t

Psycho-Powered SHADALOO SOLDIERS swarm in from all sides and
surround him.
ALEX
What the hell is this…?
The SHADALOO SOLDIERS close in.
FIGHT: ALEX defeats a SHADALOO SOLDIER.
BALROG strides into view amidst the SHADALOO SOLDIERS.
BALROG
Are they really getting extra
power? They’re weak!
ALEX clotheslines an incoming SHADALOO SOLDIER, sending him
flying to the ground.
BALROG
Never mind, I’ll handle it myself!
BALROG steps forward.
BALROG
Hey! Gimme the piece!
ALEX
Fuck you.
BALROG
Raah!
FIGHT: BALROG defeats ALEX.
ALEX collapses to the ground, with BALROG looming over him.
BALROG
I said give me that piece!
ALEX
I don’t have it.
BALROG
Don’t give me that bullshit!
BALROG moves to hit him again.
Suddenly, a fraction of a second before BALROG’s fist
connects, DHALSIM teleports in-between the two of them and
blocks the attack.
DHALSIM
Enough of that. He does not have
what you are looking for.
BALROG
Yeah? We’ll see about that.
A kid in a hoodie without sleeves walks up behind BALROG.
ED
Hey. He doesn’t have it.
BALROG
Whaddaya you mean he doesn’t have
it?
ED steps forward.
ED
It’s not there. He doesn’t have
it.
BALROG turns to look at him.
BALROG
Hmph. That your intuition again?
ED
Since you first found me, has my
intuition ever been wrong? Even
once?
BALROG turns his head and looks back at
DHALSIM and ALEX.
BALROG spits on the ground.
BALROG
Peh. Waste of my time…
BALROG turns and starts to walk away.
ED follows him, then glows with Psycho Power. His aura
expands to cover BALROG, and the two teleport away.
The SHADALOO SOLDIERS disperse as well.
DHALSIM turns to ALEX.
DHALSIM
I’m sorry you had to be involved in
all this. I came to warn you, but
it seems I was too late.
ALEX gets up.
DHALSIM
Are you alright?
ALEX rolls his shoulders and cricks his neck.
ALEX
Yeah. I’m fine.
DHALSIM nods.
DHALSIM
Now that they know you do not have
the piece, they should not bother
you again. There are others I must
protect. Until next time.
DHALSIM bows to him and teleports away.
CUT TO: ALEX’s Point of View
ALEX looks at his reflection in the mirror of his truck.
ALEX
Looks like you could use more

ALEX looks up from the mirror, to see the Black Moon hanging
in the sky above.

*** ACT 2, SCENE 3 ***
EXT. HILLSIDE PLAZA - DAY
SEAN is walking down the steps, playing a video game on a
handheld console.
SEAN is not paying attention to where he is going, and walks
directly into FANG, who knocks him over.
FANG picks up his game.
SEAN
Hey you! Why don’t you look
where… you’re… wal…king…
at…
SEAN looks up at FANG and a SHADALOO COMMANDO behind him.
FANG
I have something that I want to ask
you. And you better answer my
question truthfully…
FANG holds SEAN’s console out in front of him, slowly
dissolving it with the poison coating his hand.
FANG
If you don’t want to end up like
this…
FANG drops it into his hand.
SEAN catches it, then realizes what he’s holding, and tosses
it away in a panic.
The game console falls to the ground in front of them and
continues to melt into a pool of plastic and poison.
FANG
Have you seen this piece before?
FANG shows him a control piece.
SEAN
My sister has it!
FANG
You are correct!
FANG grabs him and lifts him.
SEAN
Can’t breathe…
FANG
Now why don’t you tell me where the
control key is? Or… do you
prefer door number two, where I
take you hostage and threaten your
sister with your life?
KEN
Hyah!
KEN rushes forward and kicks FANG and the SHADALOO
COMMANDO away from SEAN with a jumping strike.
KEN
Phew! I made it just in time. Are
you all right?
SEAN
Uh… Yeah.
FANG gets up off the ground.
FANG
You got mud on my beautiful
clothes! Daaaah! Look what
you’ve done!
KEN waves to FANG to come at him.
FIGHT: KEN defeats FANG.
FANG
Neyaaaah!
FANG tumbles backward onto the ground.
KEN helps SEAN up.
FANG stands.
FANG
You fool! I’ll never forgive you!
FANG suddenly stops.
FANG
Huh?
FANG pats down his clothing all over before picking out a
phone. He turns away to answer it.
FANG
What? Intruders? I understand.
I’ll get back there right now!
KEN
Hey, wait!
FANG
Neeeeeeee!
FANG sprints away, then turns and splashes poison on the
ground, forming a cloud of toxic mist.
SEAN and KEN shield themselves, coughing.
The mist fades, and FANG is gone.
CAMMY and CHUN-LI run into view.
CHUN-LI
Are you alright?
CHUN-LI takes a look at SEAN.
CHUN-LI
Wait, I think I know you… You’re
part of the Matsuda family?
SEAN nods.
SEAN
Yes, I am.
CHUN-LI
Can I ask you, was this sent to
your house?
CHUN-LI shows him a drawing of a control piece.
SEAN
Those guys were asking me about
this just before! So… Ahh! My
sister! I think she caused trouble
again!
KEN
Look, could you possibly give the
piece to us?
SEAN
Hmm…
SEAN looks down for a moment, thinking, then nods.
SEAN
Ok! You guys saved my life. But,
it’s my sister’s. I happen to have
it here.
CAMMY
Watch out!
A SHADALOO COMMANDO tumbles through the air towards the
group.
KEN spin-kicks the SHADALOO COMMANDO away.
SEAN turns to look behind him at who through him.
SEAN
Huh?! La…L.L.L.L.L.Laura?!
LAURA walks up, carrying one SHADALOO SOLDIER slung over her
should, and dragging another behind her. She drops the one
she was dragging and waves to them.
LAURA
Hi! Were you guys talking about
me?
LAURA drop the other SHADALOO COMMANDO.
SEAN points at her in horror, and steps back as she
approaches.
LAURA walks up confidently and puts him in a headlock.
LAURA
What have you been doing around
here?! And look at your hair! I
know what it is! You must have
found a girlfriend!
SEAN
No I didn’t! Don’t touch me! Hey!
Can’t breathe!
LAURA
But you still look so thin as a
rail! You must eat more meat,
otherwise your girlfriend won’t
like you!
SEAN
I said I dont have a girlfriend! I
give, give, give…! I give up!
SEAN taps her arm repeatedly.
CHUN-LI
Do you think we should stop them?
Before…
KEN shrugs nervously in response.
In the meantime, LAURA has flipped SEAN onto the ground and
has him in an arm lock.
LAURA
Let’s make things burn with one
more head rub! How’s this?!
CAMMY
Is this considered… a typical
brother-sister relationship?
CHUN-LI
Uh…
CHUN-LI looks away.
LAURA finally finishes and releases SEAN, and he rolls away
groaning, as she stands up.
LAURA
Ok. Now that I’ve said hello to my
dear little brother.
LAURA turns to the others.
LAURA
Ken Masters! I recognize who you
are. Why would a famous person
like you be here?
KEN walks up to her.
KEN
Hey. Laura, right? I was looking
for a package that was sent to you.
LAURA takes the piece out.
LAURA
This thing, right? What do you
need this for?
KEM
We’re trying to stop a madman.
Those guys who attacked you earlier
were working for him. They were
probably here for for that.
KEN points at the piece.
LARUA
Well I dont know who sent it, but
they must’ve wanted me to keep it
safe. Don’t worry, I’ll be fine!
If those guys want this thing,
they’ll have to go through me!
LAURA punches her palm.
KEN
Look, they have much tougher
fighters than those guys. One of
them just attacked your brother!
Besides, we need it to stop him. I
promise, it’ll be in good hands.
LAURA
Stronger, huh? They can’t be that
bad if you managed to beat them.
KEN
What’s that supposed to mean?
LAURA
Fight me and I’ll show ya! If you
win, I’ll let you have the piece.
KEN
Look, can’t we just…
LAURA steps into fighting stance and waves to him to come.
LAURA
Come on, let’s do this!
KEN sighs and prepares to fight as well.
FIGHT: LAURA defeats KEN.
KEN flips back and lands right back into stance.
LAURA
Haha! Not bad! Ready for round
two?
LAURA turns to look behind KEN.
LAURA
Huh? Who’s that?
KEN turns around as well.
CUT TO: A view from the top of the stairs. DECAPRE, glowing
with Psycho Power, can be seen on the side of the frame.
SEAN walks towards her angrily.
SEAN
Are you a friend of those stupid
jerks? Unfortunately you’re a
little too…
LAURA walks up and grabs him and throws him back behind her.
SEAN
Baaah!
SEAN falls to the ground, and LAURA stares down DECAPRE,
still from a distance.
LAURA
Just stay back. THis monster is
too much for you to handle!
KEN takes fighting stance.
CAMMY steps forward.
CAMMY
Decapre…
INTERCUT: DECAPRE stands, her head tilted at an unnatural
angle, an overflowing aura of Psycho Power surrounding her.
*** ACT 3, SCENE 4 ***
EXT. APPRENTICE ALLEY - DAY
ZANGIEF and GUILE are walking down the street. ZANGIEF is
holding up a control piece.
ZANGIEF
A little thing like this could
really cause all this trouble?
The two of them are jumped by SHADALOO COMMANDOS.
They beat them back.
The doll SANTAMU jumps in, landing in front of them with her
spear drawn.
At the same time, two SHADALOO COMMANDOS jump ZANGIEF, who
moves to fight them off.
FIGHT: GUILE defeats SANTAMU.
SANTAMU’s monkey, KIKI, scrambles over to check on her, then
snarls.
SANTAMU gets up and hurls her spear at GUILE.
KIKI leaps at ZANGIEF, who is occupied by the two SHADALOO
COMMANDOS, and scurries up his chest, before grabbing his
control piece and scampering back in the direction of
SANTAMU.
GUILE hurls a Sonic Boom at KIKI, but the monkey zig-zags
away, causing the shot to go wide.
SANTAMU also leaps away and vanishes into the crowd, as
ZANGIEF defeats the two SHADALOO COMMANDOS, leaving ZANGIEF
and GUILE standing alone in the street.
They look around.
ZANGIEF
Damn!
*** ACT 3, SCENE 5 ***
EXT. KANZUKI ESTATE - DAY
BIRDIE can be seen sitting in the side building with MARZ.
CUT TO:
INT. KANZUKI ESTATE, SIDE BUILDING - DAY
BIRDIE is sitting next to MARZ, whose hands are chained.
There is an empty tray in front of BIRDIE, and a tray full
of sandwiches in front of MARZ.
BIRDIE looks around.
BIRDIE
It’s gotten too quiet now.
BIRDIE looks down at his tray full of crumbs and sighs.
BIRDIE
Haa…
MARZ looks at him nervously.
BIRDIE notices and turns to her, inquisitively.
BIRDIE
Hmm?
MARZ cowers.
BIRDIE looks down and notices her tray remains untouched.
MARZ shakily pushes it over toward him.
BIRDIE
Huh? Are you sure about that?
BIRDIE looks at the tray with excitement, and smiles.
MARZ nervously nods.
As BIRDIE leans forward and reaches hungrily for the tray,
the doll APRILE rushes forward into view, and sends him
flying into the wall with a powerful kick.
BIRDIE
Doohaaaaaah!!
APRILE crouches down in front of MARZ and looks her over.
APRILE
Are you hurt? You look alright.
Can you stand?
MARZ breathes a sigh of relief.
INTERCUT: BIRDIE is lying on the floor, having landed
headfirst in the feet of a suit of armor.
BIRDIE
Unnghhh…
MARZ
I’m fine.
APRILE removes the chains from MARZ’s hands.
APRILE
Good. Let’s escape.
BIRDIE stands up suddenly behind them as they start to walk
out the door.
BIRDIE
You’re not going anywhere!
BIRDIE dolphin dives over the two dolls and lands in front
of them, outside the storage house.
BIRDIE
If I let you get away from me! If
you escape…!
MARZ, startled, jumps back into a fighting stance, still
visibily terrified, as BIRDIE turns around.
APRILE steps forward confidently.
APRILE
Back off.
BIRDIE points at them angrily.
BIRDIE
If you escape, they won’t feed me
anymore!
FIGHT: BIRDIE defeats APRILE.
APRILE slumps down, kneeling.
BIRDIE
Yes! I’ve earned my
meal!
From behind BIRDIE, the doll NOEMBELU strides into view and
kicks his leg out from under him.
BIRDIE
Ow!
BIRDIE topples forward, only to be caught by a knee to the
face from NOEMBELU, sending him crashing to the ground.
APRILE
Noembelu, you saved me.
NOEMBELU
Enero is angry.
MARZ
I’m sorry.
MARZ shrinks and half-bows, apologetically.
INTERCUT: BIRDIE is lying on the floor, groaning and
holding his chin.
*** ACT 3, SCENE 6 ***
EXT. HILLSIDE PLAZA - DAY
DECAPRE, overloaded with Psycho Power, staggers down the
steps.
KEN
Isn’t that woman…
CHUN-LI
One of Bison’s bodyguards. But,
something’s wrong with her. Cammy?
Any idea?
CAMMY looks at her
INTERCUT: CAMMY’s eye, reflecting DECAPRE enveloped in
Psycho Power, in front of a Black Moon.
CAMMY blinks.
LAURA
Well? Isn’t she an enemy? Then
let me take care of her.
LAURA walks forward, but CAMMY instantly steps forward,
blocking her path.
CAMMY
No! Let me handle her!
CAMMY faces off with DECAPRE.
DECAPRE lifts her head to look at CAMMY, before teleporting
forward in a burst of Psycho Power, her bladed gauntlet
extended to strike.
FIGHT: CAMMY defeats DECAPRE.
DECAPRE stumbles then collapses abruptly, like a
marionette with its strings cut, as her Psycho
Power aura dissipates.
CAMMY rushes forward to catch her.
Two POLICE OFFICERS run into view, guns drawn.
PETER (OFFICER 1)
Nobody move!
SEAN
Laura! I brought some backup!
The OFFICERS turn towards CAMMY, who is now sitting on the
ground, holding the defeated DECAPRE.
PETER
She’s the agent working for
Shadaloo! We have the authority to
arrest her!
KEN holds out his arms to calm everyone down.
KEN
Take it easy! She’s no longer a
danger!
CHUN-LI
You don’t have to worry, Cammy. We
should turn her over to them for
now.
CAMMY looks at DECAPRE. She sees the reflection of that
girl from long ago.
YOUNG DECAPRE
Your big sister… will help you…
CAMMY blinks, returning to the moment.
DECAPRE
(Delerious)
Help you! Will help you! Big
sister will…
OFFICER 2
What are you doing? Give the girl
to us, now!
CAMMY looks at DECAPRE, then up at the officer.
INTERCUT: VEGA stands on a rooftop some distance off,
observing the group.
OFFICER 2 closes in. CAMMY catches sight of something
behind him, and her eyes widen as she sees VEGA on the
rooftop in the background. She glances back down at
DECAPRE, carefully sets her aside, then suddenly lunges
upward, kicking OFFICER 2 aside and sending him flying back.
In a flash of movement, CAMMY scoops DECAPRE up in her
arms and leaps back, as PETER raises his gun to fire.
KEN rushes forward, raising his hands to try to ward off
PETER.
KEN
Don’t do it!
PETER takes the shot but misses, the bullet impacting the
ground where CAMMY had been just seconds earlier.
CAMMY sets DECAPRE down and stands. She turns to face the
officer, who aims his gun at her again.
CAMMY
I am.
CAMMY leaps at PETER, kicking his gun away.
FIGHT: CAMMY defeats PETER.
CAMMY kicks PETER back.
OFFICER 2 recovers and stands, training his weapon on CAMMY,
but before he can fire, JURI flies in off the bridge on a
motorcycle, landing on OFFICER 2 and knocking him to the
ground once again.
JURI
Ahahahahaha!
JURI skids to a stop next to DECAPRE, cutting the group off
from her and CAMMY.
CHUN-LI
Juri!
JURI leans back.
JURI
Looks like you’re having fun!
JURI
(To CAMMY)
Need a ride? I couldn’t help but
overhear your little falling out.
CAMMY
I…
JURI
Come on, get on.
JURI revs the engine briefly.
CAMMY looks down at DECAPRE, then at CHUN-LI.
CAMMY
Chun-li, I couldn’t… I saw Vega
on the rooftops. They can’t
protect her from him.
CHUN-LI
Cammy…
JURI leers at CHUN-LI, then glances back at CAMMY.
JURI
It’s a limited time offer…
CAMMY kneels next to DECAPRE, removes her mask, and gently
brushes her cheek.
CAMMY
She’s starting to remember. I
can’t…
CAMMY picks up DECAPRE and looks down at her.
CAMMY
I can’t let them have her.
CAMMY leaps onto the back of JURI’s motorcycle.
CAMMY
I’m sorry.
The engine roars and JURI speeds away with CAMMY and
DECAPRE.
CHUN-LI runs forward a few paces after them.
CHUN-LI
Cammy!
LAURA steps forward to stop her.
LAURA
Are you trying to follow them on
foot? Don’t even bother, you’ll
never catch them that way.
Besides…
LAURA points at another wave of SHADALOO SOLDIERS who jump
down from the bridge behind them.
KEN
We’ll take care of these guys, and
track down Vega. You deliver the
piece and deal with Bison.
KEN looks hopefully to LAURA, who shrugs and tosses the
piece to CHUN-LI.
CHUN-LI looks at the piece, looks at KEN, concerned,
then scans the rooftops.
KEN
(To CHUN-LI)
Don’t worry. We’ll find him.
CHUN-LI turns, and runs off.
KEN and LAURA turn to face off against the charging SHADALOO
SOLDIERS.
CUT TO:
EXT. HILLSIDE PLAZA, ROOFTOP - DAY
VEGA looks back up from the streets, then raises a rose and
admires it.
VEGA
Hmph. A flower trifling in the
wind is so beautiful. I want to
cut it down by my own hand.
VEGA moves his hand in front of the flower, and the
flower’s petals blow away from behind it.[/details]
A Shadow Recast: Act 3, Scene 7

EXT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
KARIN, IBUKI, R.MIKA and SHIBASAKI sneak along the outside
of the building, Ibuki darting expertly from cover to cover,
R.MIKA stumbling behind strugging to keep up.
The group arrives at closed metal door, inset into the wall.
IBUKI glances around, checking behind them for any signs of
trouble.
KARIN takes out a phone, presses some keys, and lowers it
again.
IBUKI
So how do we get in?
KARIN
You can leave that to our contact
on the inside.
The phone vibrates and the screen lights up.
KARIN
And here he is now.
The door they are standing next to slides open with a
whoosh, revealing an interior hallway of the base.
KARIN
Be careful. There will be more
guards from this point in. Though,
it’s strange that we’ve encountered
so few thus far.
The group walks forward into the base.
*** ACT 3, SCENE 8 ***
INT. SHADALOO BASE, HALLWAY - NIGHT
NASH has a struggling SHADALOO SOLDIER in a chokehold.
NASH
Go to sleep.
Something snaps in the SHADALOO SOLDIER’s neck, leaving him
motionless, and NASH tosses him aside.
RASHID
Geez, how many of these guys are
there?
NASH steps out into the main hallway, followed by RASHID,
who nearly runs into him as NASH pauses to stops down the
hallway to his left and right.
NASH turns left and starts walking down the hall.
RASHID folows steps out into the hallway as well, followed
by AZAM.
RASHID
Hey, wait! That’s not the right
way! We have to stop the moons, so
we have to find the control room.
RASHID chases him down the hall.
NASH
I know that Bison must be in here.
I will find him, and kill him.
RASHID
Come on! Wait wait wait wait!
RASHID runs around in front of him, gesturing for NASH to
stop. NASH pauses, listening to him.
RASHID
I just learned that Kanzuki and
some other people are coming here
soon. We all share the same goal:
to stop the Black Moons. If we all
worked together, our chances would
be even better, right?
RASHID comes back around to NASH’s side and leans on his
shoulder.
RASHID
If we could stop the moons, Bison’s
power would fade, and you would be
able to defeat him easier.
NASH
I can’t afford to waste time.
NASH continues to walk away, leaving RASHID to stumble.
RASHID
Hey, don’t just rush off! You
could get killed! Er…
NASH stops again.
RASHID
Look, I really don’t know what
happened to you, but if you want to
get to Bison, you shouldn’t abandon
us. You’re not immortal either.
NASH
What you’re saying is right. But
some things can not be resolved by
doing right.
NASH walks away down the hall.
RASHID sighs, and turns around to go the other way, followed
by AZAM.

RASHID and AZAM are walking down yet another corridor, when
they encounter KARIN and company, approaching from the other
direction.
KARIN
Wonderful to see you again.
RASHID
So, Mr. Butler, did you already
find the control room around here?
KARIN
Shibasaki is the head steward of
the Kanzuki family. Of course he
did.
RASHID
Great!
RASHID runs over and wraps his arm around SHIBASAKI’S
shoulder.
RASHID
Then I suggest we should work
together. And I’ll forgive you for
what happened in the past.
RASHID shakes SHIBASAKI some.
KARIN
Please do not touch my head
steward. By the way, do you
actually have the pieces?
A wave of SHADALOO COMMANDOS run in.
RASHID
Again? These guys are getting on
my nerves!
KARIN chuckles.
FIGHT: KARIN defeats a SHADALOO COMMANDO.
KARIN backhands the SHADALOO COMMANDO then punches him back.
RASHID flips a SHADALOO COMMANDO over his shoulder as R.MIKA
finishes one with a throw.
RASHID spins away from another SHADALOO COMMANDO,
striking his head just before the SHADALOO COMMANDO is hit
by one of IBUKI’s kunai.
Alarm klaxons sound, and several heavy steel doors
begin to close in the area. RASHID sees this, turns and
shoves R.MIKA and IBUKI back toward the rest of the group,
interrupting R.MIKA’s celebration.
As soon as he has done this, RASHID notices AZAM holding one
of the doors up, behind him, slowing its descent. He looks
back toward KARIN and the others through another closing
door. He pulls out his pieces, winces and considers, then
throws them to Karin before the closing door can separate
them.
RASHID
There’s no time. I have to find my
friend! Please, take care of
these! I trust you.
The heavy steel door slams shut between them.
KARIN looks down at the pieces, then nods resolutely.
KARIN
Understood! I accept your request!
KARIN runs offscreen, followed by the others.
*** ACT 3, SCENE 9 ***
INT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
NASH is walking through a dark corridor.
An explosion is heard. The screen shakes. NASH starts to
run forward.
GUILE
(voice over)
NASH!

FLASHBACK/VISION:
NASH is hanging off a cliff face over a chasm.
CUT TO:
NASH’s point of view:
NASH is looking up from the cliff face. His arm is clinging
to the rock. A helicopter is hovering overhead. BISON is
standing in the door, laughing.
Heavy machine gun fire is heard, coming from the helicopter.
The rock face in front of NASH is pulverized and turns to
dust. NASH beings to fall.
CUT TO BLACK.
BISON continues laughing in the darkness.
NASH keeps running in the empty space.
NASH approaches an IMAGE OF BISON at the end of the
corridor. He clutches his head and staggers for a moment,
then screams, firing a Sonic Boom at the IMAGE OF BISON.
The Sonic Boom hits the IMAGE OF BISON, causing it to
dissipate in a burst of purple light.
Suddenly, the corridor comes back into focus, as the last
echoes of NASH’s shout die out. He is standing in front of
a closed door. He steadies himself against the wall,
panting.
NASH’s breathing steadies and evens out.
NASH shakes his head, then reaches out to hit the controls
on the side of the door.
The door hisses open.
*** ACT 3, SCENE 10 ***
INT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
R.MIKA and IBUKI are walking down a hallway.
IBUKI
It’s all your fault, because you
went the wrong way.
R.MIKA stops, plants her feet, and points at IBUKI.
R.MIKA
No, it’s all your fault! You’re
slow, so they decided to levae us
behind!
IBUKI
It’s called stealth.
IBUKI turns to glare at R.MIKA, then suddenly looks around
her.
IBUKI
Watch out!
CUT TO: IBUKI’s point of view.
A SHADALOO COMMANDO is running up behind R.MIKA. IBUKI
leaps into the air and throws a kunai over R.MIKA’s head,
striking the COMMANDO in the throat.
The SHADALOO COMMANDO collapses a few feet away, as R.MIKA
turns to see him.
IBUKI lands.
IBUKI
Phew!
R.MIKA turns back to IBUKI. She looks down bashfully.
R.MIKA
Er… Thanks for that…
IBUKI looks down and laughs nervously, as BALROG and
SANTAMU walk across the hallway behind her.
R.MIKA
(To BALROG)
Hey!
BALROG
Huh?
BALROG stops and looks at her. IBUKI quickly turns around
and SANTAMU prepares to attack.
BALROG looks down at the piece in his hand, then back up at
the two of them. He waves SANTAMU away as he steps forward,
brandishing the piece.
BALROG
Is this what you chumps are lookin’
for? If you want it, come and get
it!
IBUKI
I will!
FIGHT: IBUKI defeats BALROG.
BALROG stands back up, and rolls his shoulders.
BALROG
Heheheh.
IBUKI
What? That didn’t work?!
BALROG lunges at her again.
BALROG
Hurrreigh!
R.MIKA intercepts the punch with her face.
IBUKI
Mika!
BALROG looks incredulously at R.MIKA.
R.MIKA
Hehehe, don’t worry. Compared to
my special training, this is
nothing!
BALROG glares.
R.MIKA
Now, why don’t you try me on for
size!
Footsteps are heard approaching from behind them.
IBUKI turns to see two SHADALOO COMMANDOS runing toward them
and steps into a fighting stance, back to back with R.MIKA.
FIGHT: BALROG defeats R.MIKA.
R.MIKA staggers back, away from the approaching BALROG.
IBUKI and R.MIKA look at each other and nod.
R.MIKA shouts and charges BALROG, tackling him, but failing
to bring him down.
ED reaches out toward R.MIKA, charging Psycho Power in his
hand, but IBUKI jumps and throws a bomb toward him.
IBUKI
Too late!
The bomb bounces and explodes, releasing a burst of smoke
that quickly fills the room, obscuring vision.
IBUKI dashes up and grabs the piece out of BALROG’s hand,
before continuing past BALROG and ED along with R.MIKA, to
escape.
FADE TO:
INT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
KARIN and SHIBASAKI are walking down a hallway.
IBUKI
Ms. Kanzuki!
IBUKI and R.MIKA run up behind them, waving to get their
attention. IBUKI is carrying the piece.
KARIN and SHIBASAKI turn, and IBUKI and R.MIKA stop in front
of them.
*** ACT 3, SCENE 11 ***
EXT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
CHUN-LI vaults over a wall and dashes across the open
courtyard, towards the base’s entrance.
A SHADALOO SOLIDER and a SHADALOO COMMANDO come running in
from behind her, giving chase with their arms raised to
attack, but she whirls around and sends them flying with a
succession of Lightning Legs kicks before they can reach
her.
CHUN-LI pauses and glances around her. Many more SHADALOO
SOLDIERS and SHADALOO COMMANDOS now rush in from all
directions to surround her. She crouches down, then flips
upwards into a Spinning Bird Kick, striking the soldiers and
making them topple down like dominoes.
CHUN-LI runs into the open entryway.
*** ACT 3, SCENE 12 ***
INT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
CHUN-LI walks down a hallway.
LEI FEN
(Unseen)
You’re the one who has the Merope.
CHUN-LI turns around to face her.
CHUN-LI
Aren’t you…?
LEI FEN shows her tablet to CHUN-LI. It shows one of the
pieces, titled “Merope”, along with a picture of the piece
and a bio and photo of CHUN-LI.
CHUN-LI
So Shadaloo was using hackers to
track all of the pieces down.
CHUN-LI approaches her.
CHUN-LI
We’ll save the conversation for
later. We have to get out of here
now.
LEI-FEN looks down the long empty hallway.
LEI FEN
There’s someone… I mean… I
still have to look for the Usher.
CHUN-LI
The Usher?
LEI FEN
I still have something to do. I
can’t escape from here yet. You
have something to do, now, though.
Don’t worry about me. I’ll be
fine.
CHUN-LI
Huh?
LEI FEN
You have to stop the Black Moons.
Don’t worry. I’ll see you again
soon.
LEI FEN runs off down the hall.
CHUN-LI
That girl… What is she doing?
*** ACT 3, SCENE 13 ***
INT. SHADALOO CONTROL ROOM - NIGHT
A pair of giant steel blast doors stands at the end of a
suspended walkway.
KARIN blasts them inward out of their frame with a Meioken,
and steps into the control room.
KARIN looks to her right.
KARIN
Oh my!
Another pair of giant steel doors explodes inward, and
CHUN-LI steps through them. The two look at each other
and walk down their respective walkways toward the central
computer.
CHUN-LI
It looks like we both made it here
with perfect timing.
CHUN-LI walks up and shows KARIN her piece.
KARIN
Ahaha! Now we have all six of
them. After we set up these
pieces, we’ll be able to stop the
Black Moons.
The two of them walk toward the control device.
FANG
More intruders have broken into my
very important control room!
FANG walks in through the broken door behind them, flaps
his arms furiously and stomps.
FANG
What are you all doing here?!
KARIN hands her five pieces to CHUN-LI, then turns to face
FANG and starts walking toward him.
KARIN
I’ll take care of this. You mt be
exhausted after your trip.
FANG prances angrily forward.
FANG
How dare you try to interupt
Operation CHAINS, that I dedicated
to Lord Bison! I won’t let either
of you leave here alive! Nnyah!
FANG stops in front of her and prepares to fight. KARIN
smiles and enthusiastically takes up her own stance.
FIGHT: KARIN defeats FANG.
FANG is laying on the floor groaning. He waves his arms
frantically and sits up, then turns toward CHUN-LI.
FANG
Daah!
CHUN-LI places the last piece in the control device, and it
is illuminated by a column of light.
CHUN-LI
This is it!
INTERCUT: CHUN-LI touches the keyboard.
A ring of light in the control device sweeps over the
pieces, scanning them.
The large overhead display screen reacts and a progress bar
appears and slowly begins to fill.
KARIN walks up behind CHUN-LI who is staring the screen
aprehensively, and watches it herself.
The progress bar fills and a error prompt appears:
“Operation CHAINS: Operation Aborted.”
The rest of the screen dims, and CHUN-LI breathes a sigh of
relief.
CHUN-LI
It’s done.
KARIN
It was sucessful!
FANG waves his arms about in a panic, then throws down a
cloud of poison.
FANG
Woah woah woah woah woah! Eeyah!
KARIN and CHUN-LI stagger back and cover their faces.
FANG
I’ll show them all! I have one
last trick up my sleve! They’ll
never defeat meeee!
FANG sprints off toward an exit.
KARIN and CHUN-LI run forward to see him depart, as the
poison fog begins to clear.
Suddenly, the control room floor under the control device
walkway begins to open. Steam rises from the glowing light
below.
KARIN
Then this is!
ABEL
Their main headquarters.
KARIN and CHUN-LI turn to see ABEL, walking into
view through one of the broken blast doors.
CHUN-LI approaches him.
CHUN-LI
You were the one who was operating
undercover, Abel? I see.
The control system starts beeping, and a new window opens,
streaming green text. CHUN-LI and KARIN turn to look at it.
ABEL steps forward, looking at the display as well.
ABEL
Someone is trying to hack into the
control room.
Several more windows appear on screen.
The group watches the text stream by.
Suddenly an alert tone goes off on the control system and
the green windows start to close.
INTERCUT: A Black Moon in orbit suddenly reignites with a
purple glow.
CUT TO:
INT. SHADALOO CONTROL ROOM, DOWNSTAIRS - NIGHT
FANG is standing over LEI-FEN, pacing back and forth,
watching her as she types frantically.
Suddenly LEI-FEN stops typing, and her tablet beeps.
CUT TO:
INT. SHADALOO CONTROL ROOM - NIGHT
As the last green window vanishes, the control system
returns to operation. Several status windows pop back up,
and one large message appears front and center:
“PSA: Psychopower Stratospheric Aircraft - Launching descent
program for units 2 through 7. Time left until
initialization: 24:00:00”
And the timer begins to count down.
CHUN-LI
What’s the descent program?
ABEL
They were hiding this as a backup
plan!
KARIN
Each moon will directly impact its
city. This isn’t good.
CUT TO:
INT. SHADALOO CONTROL ROOM, DOWNSTAIRS - NIGHT
FANG begins to laugh, as LEI-FEN huddles in terror. BISON
can be seen standing atop the alcove where she is sitting.
FANG
Operation CHAINS is a complete
success! The Black Moons will fall
onto every target city, and the
world will become a whirlwind of
chaos!
LEI-FEN flinches as FANG prances past and turns quickly in
front of her.
FANG
Mankind will tremble with fear and
despair, and the world will be in
flames! The negative energy from
all around the world will nourish
Lord Bison!
FANG twirls in celebration.
FANG
Yes! The entire world will be in
Lord Bison’s hands! Our glorious
plans will succeed like never
before!
BISON
They’d better.
PAN UP to see NASH standing high above them.
NASH
I won’t let that happen!
NASH leaps down towards BISON, generating the sonic
buzzsaw of his Critical Art and bringing it down on
BISON’s head.
BISON
Nnnngh!
The burst of energy from the dissipating Critical Art
flings NASH backward away from BISON, and he lands
crouched down some distance away.
BISON floats down from his resting place, seemingly totally
unaffected. He hovers in front of NASH.
BISON
Well I never expected that your
lost soul would stumble its way
back to me.
NASH
I will… kill you!
BISON
It looks like you want to die!
FIGHT: BISON defeats NASH.
NASH
Not yet!
NASH charges his energy in his arm and leaps at BISON again,
landing on a Psycho Power barrier which he tries to break
with his own energy.
BISON
Idiot! Do you think the fist of
someone like you whose life has
already expired can even reach me?
BISON charges black and purple Psycho Power in his hand, and
blasts NASH back away from him.
NASH collapses to the ground, as BISON stands triumphant.
ZOOM OUT TO:
From behind some heavy machinery, a familiar inky-black
liquid starts to drip from the ceiling, pooling on the
ground.
CUT TO:
INT. SHADALOO CONTROL ROOM - NIGHT
The countdown timer is ticking.
ABEL screams.
CHUN-LI and KARIN turn to look at him.
ABEL is enveloped in an aura of Psycho Power.
ABEL
Aauuugh! My head!
ABEL writhes, struggling with the foreign energy.
CHUN-LI
Is this… Psycho Power?
CHUN-LI runs to help him, but ABEL holds up his hand.
ABEL
Stay away from me… This isn’t…
good!
ABEL’s Psycho Power aura explodes outwards, taking him over.
ABEL
Nuaaah!
KARIN and CHUN-LI watch ABEL cautiously, ready to fight if
needed.
LEI FEN shrieks.
CHUN-LI rushes to the edge of the walkway and leans over
the guardrail.
CUT TO:
INT. SHADALOO CONTROL ROOM, DOWNSTAIRS - NIGHT
NECALLI
Guraaaaah!
NECALLI drops from the ceiling and lands, slamming into the
floor, a pool of dark liquid spreading out from the point of
impact. He straightens up, surveying the room, then charges
forward at the badly injured NASH.
CUT TO:
INT. SHADALOO CONTROL ROOM - NIGHT
Over the edge of the walkway railing, NECALLI is seen
charging at NASH.
CHUN-LI turns and looks at KARIN. KARIN nods to her, and
she leaps over the railing as KARIN turns to fight ABEL.
CUT TO:
INT. SHADALOO CONTROL ROOM, DOWNSTAIRS - NIGHT
CHUN-LI drops to the ground in front of NASH and kicks
NECALLI away.
CHUN-LI kneels to check on NASH.
NECALLI reorients himself and stands, facing off at BISON.
NECALLI
(growling)
That power-rer-rer!
CHUN-LI finishes checking NASH and looks up at LEI FEN with
concern. LEI FEN, however, simply shakes her head.
CHUN-LI makes a worried frown before helping NASH up and
escaping with him.
BISON
Heh.
BISON grins, unfolds his arms, and faces NECALLI.

A Shadow Recast: Act 4, Scene 1
[spoiler]*** ACT 4, SCENE 1 ***
INT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
CHUN-LI and NASH are moving through a hallway.
NASH stops and leans against a wall to rest. CHUN-LI
notices this and turns to him.
CHUN-LI
We have to keep moving. Karin has
a helicopter waiting. We can get
out of here and plan our next move.
Here, let me help you.
CHUN-LI steps forward and moves to help NASH walk or carry
him.
NASH
Don’t touch me.
NASH pushes her off abruptly.
NASH
If you want to leave, go.
CHUN-LI
Come on, we have to get out of
here. We can come back with help
and a plan.
NASH
Go away! I never asked you to save
me.
CHUN-LI
Charlie!
NASH stares at her, and lean back against the wall. She
looks at him, flustered, then turns to go.
NASH watches her leave, then sinks back down against the
wall, to sit and rest.
*** ACT 4, SCENE 2 ***
INT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
RASHID and AZAM are running down a hallway.
CUT TO:
NASH is sitting against the wall near a hallway
intersection.
RASHID and AZAM come running by, see him, and stop to talk
to him, running in place and looking over their shoulders.
RASHID
Good sir!
They back up and stop running, before walking over to NASH.
RASHID
Woah! That looks painful! Umm.
Can you stand?
RASHID kneels down and offers NASH his hand. NASH stares
at him.
RASHID
No? Alright then.
RASHID stands.
RASHID
What happened? Were you able to
defeat Bison?
NASH
No. I couldn’t kill him.
NASH makes a fist, and stares at it.
RASHID
Oh, I see.
RASHID wanders out around and paces around the intersection.
RASHID
I guess they still haven’t finished
the job.
RASHID punches his own fist.
RASHID
Damm it! I still wasn’t able to
find my friend yet.
NASH looks at him.
RASHID
An old friend.
RASHID puts his hands behind his head, and wanders around
the corridor as he talks.
RASHID
This friend was a bit of a bonehead
since we were kids. Also made
games, and one became a big hit.
After that a lot of companies were
making job offers.
NASH watches him pace.
RASHID
My friend was hesitating to make a
decision, but then suddenly decided
to work for a company that was
under Shadaloo!
RASHID waves his arms in disbelief.
RASHID
Probably was tricked into it. Ater
all, how else could anyone ever end
up making the Black Moons?
RASHID stands and stares into space, remembering.
RASHID
My friend has been making mistakes
for what sems like forever. And
every time I got the same call for
help.
RASHID clasps his hands together and shakes them in mimicry,
as NASH continues to stare at him.
RASHID
“My friend Rashid, please save my
life!” Or something like that.
RASHID returns to pacing.
RASHID
So I helped. But never once did I
get a single thank you. What a
friend, right?
RASHID stops and sighs.
RASHID
This time, I think, it’s very
serious.
NASH
Then I assume you will continue
looking?
RASHID stops, turns, and looks at him.
RASHID
Good sir…
CUT TO: Looking at the two of them from the other end of the
hall. They are turned away, and not attentive to this end
of the hallway.
ZOOM OUT TO: NECALLI’s legs can be seen in the frame.
RASHID turns his head, then startles. NASH immediately
turns his attention to NECALLI as well.
INTERCUT: NECALLI stands and stares at them, preparing to
attack.
RASHID
Uh oh.
He offers NASH his hand.
RASHID
Come on! We’ve got to go! You
can’t defeat Bison if you die here!
Er… sorry.
NASH takes his hand and gets to his feet.
From the far end of the hall, NECALLI charges.
*** ACT 4, SCENE 3 ***
EXT. SHADALOO BASE - NIGHT
IBUKI and MIKA run down the hall toward the camera and the
exit of the base. IBUKI dashes past the camera as a
SHADALOO SOLDIER charges into view, lunging at R.MIKA, who
body-slams him back.
ZOOM OUT.
IBUKI jumps in on another soldier kicking him away, and
R.MIKA dashes into position. They stand together at
the ready, and look out into the surrounding area.
R.MIKA
Ugh! How many more of them do we
have to fight?!
They turn and KARIN and CHUN-LI coming out of another nearby
hanger. KARIN leaps expertly over a concrete barrier, and
perches on a crate in front of it. She looks around behind
her for a moment, keeping her hand on a headset in her ear,
the entire time. CHUN-LI runs in behind her and flips over
the other side of the crate.
IBUKI
Ms. Chun-Li! Ms. Kanzuki!
KARIN jumps down from her perch and continues running
forward.
IBUKI
Is that…?
A large but diffuse Psycho Power aura appears behind where
CHUN-LI and KARIN have just passed through. Suddenly ABEL
crashes through the crate KARIN and CHUN-LI just visited,
smashing it aside. He continues barreling toward KARIN and
CHUN-LI, as they stand ready, in front of IBUKI and R.MIKA.
Suddenly, R.MIKA looks up, surprised. KARIN, still focused
on her headset, looks up confidently and chuckles.
KARIN
Ehehem.
ZANGIEF
IROOOOOON!
ZANGIEF falls out of the sky, slamming into the ground in
front of the group, in his “Iron Muscle” stance.
ZANGIEF
MUSCLE!
ABEL slams into him, and is knocked away, falling to the
ground. ZANGIEF remains standing, unphased.
CHUN-LI
Zangief!
R.MIKA
He’s just so cool!
IBUKI
(To R.MIKA)
Are you kid-- Huh?
IBUKI looks up.
IBUKI
Owaaaah!
A Kanzuki stealth helicopter hovers down and lands next to
the group.
KARIN
Impeccable timing.
KARIN lowers her hand from her headset, as the chopper
lands, piloted by SHIBASAKI and GUILE, and bearing the
Kanzuki mark.
KARIN
They are here to pick us up.
Everyone get on board. We must
leave this place quickly. Go on,
Ibuki.
IBUKI
Right!
Heavy breathing is heard, and they turn to see ABEL back
mostly on his feet, standing off with ZANGIEF again.
CHUN-LI
He’s not in his right mind. We
have to snap him out of it.
ZANIEF
Hmm! Well then!
ZANGIEF turns back to ABEL.
ABEL
Abel! Why don’t you throw all your
aggressions at me? I’ll take
everything that you have with my
muscles!
ZANGIEF flexes and poses, returning to his “Iron Muscle”
stance.
R.MIKA
So cool, Master Zangief!
IBUKI
(To R.MIKA)
Iya iya iya. Come on, we have to
go!
ABEL
Nnnugh…
ABEL tackles ZANGIEF, who stands firmly in place.
ABEL
Nungh…
ABEL fails to move ZANGIEF, who grins and pats him on the
back.
ZANGIEF
That was nice charge. However, you
need to develop a lot more muscle
power! Jaaaaaaaa!
ZANGIEF SPDs ABEL into the ground, dropping him directly
onto his head and knocking him out in a single strike.
ZANGIEF poses victoriously, heat rising from his body.
ZANGIEF
MUSCLE!
R.MIKA
Gorgeous! I love it!
IBUKI blinks.
SHIBASAKI
(over the radio)
Ms. Karin, it’s time.
KARIN
I understand.
She turns to the group.
KARIN
Everyone, hurry!
IBUKI snaps out of it, turns to R.MIKA, grabs her arm, and
drags her toward the chopper.
ZANGIEF picks up ABEL and lifts him over his shoulder.
ZANGIEF
Hm, understood.
ZANGIEF
(To ABEL)
We go now.
They all rush into the chopper.
IBUKI
Hey! Don’t push me!
CHUN-LI follows, and KARIN begins to walk to the chopper,
but stops, narrows her eyes, then turns and looks around.
CHUN-LI notices this, and follows her gaze.
KARIN
Something’s wrong.
They look down a hallway into the base.
RASHID and AZAM round the corner and come running out of the
base. As they do, they turn and look behind them in a
panic.
NASH rounds the corner, holding his wounds, and they
continue to flee the base.
The Kanzuki chopper is just starting to take off, as NECALLI
rounds the corner, chasing after the trio.
SHIBASAKI
(over radio)
Please, Ms. Karin.
The chopper’s side door swings open for her.
KARIN
Time to go!
She dashes to the chopper and hops up into the doorway as it
spins around and continues to take off.
A few moments later, RASHID hops up into the still open rear
hatch of the helicopter.
RASHID
Phew! That was a close call.
The others stare at him, as he spins into an open position
in the bay.
RASHID
Oh, please excuse me!
IBUKI
Hey! That’s my spot!
AZAM suddenly lands in the helicopter’s bay, directly in
ront of her.
Still on the ground, NASH runs after the ascending
helicopter. As NECALLI’s shadow closes in on him, he leaps
up and manages to catch the helicopter bay door with one
hand.
The helicopter has risen, and NASH is dangling in the air
from the helicopter bay door. NECALLI continues to pursue
him.
GUILE
Grab on!
NASH looks up at the helicopter bay. GUILE is reaching out
for his hand, bracing himself against the edge of the
doorway.
NASH looks down at his patchwork hand, then swings himself
up, and catches GUILE’s hand.
The helicopter flies away, as NECALLI snarls.
*** ACT 4, SCENE 4 ***
INT. UNION STATION - AFTERNOON
Pan across the empty station, and up toward the windows
letting in beams of afternoon light above the platform.
Suddenly, a motorbike crashes through the windows, lands in
the station, drifts, and skids to a stop, knocking some
luggage containers away. JURI is driving, with CAMMY
holding an unconscious DECAPRE in the back. JURI slumps to
rest slightly on the front of the motorbike
JURI
Haaa, think we’ve finally lost them.
CAMMY looks around the empty station, when suddenly DECAPRE
wakes up, crying out in pain.
DECAPRE
Gyeaaah. Gyuh, gyah!
She turns, sees CAMMY, and immediately grabs her by
the throat, throws her to the ground, and attempts to
strangle her.
JURI watches as CAMMY grabs her arms and attempts to stop
her.
JURI
My oh my! And you’re the one who
gave up everything to save her.
CAMMY
(To DECAPRE)
Just stop it!
CAMMY reverses the situation, rolling DECAPRE over onto her
back and attempting to hold her down.
DECAPRE starts hitting her in the head as she attempts this.
JURI
Hah! Looks like she’ll never be
cured. Why don’t you just kill her
already?
DECAPRE screams and activates her Psycho Power blade
gauntlet. CAMMY catches her wrist, then punches her
unconscious.
JURI
Ehehehehehe, uahahahahah! Way to
go!
CAMMY ignores her, looking at DECAPRE, breathing heavily.
JURI watches her for a moment, grinning, then suddenly
stops and looks up to see VEGA standing amid the broken
windows where they made their entrance.
He leaps down into the main station.
CAMMY immediately turns to him and prepares to fight, as
JURI gets off her motorbike.
VEGA
Hmph. Hahahahahahahahaha.
CAMMY
Tch.
VEGA
She may be an ugly doll, but she
must surely have a role to play.
VEGA lunges forward with his claw, but CAMMY evades. She
dodges a kick, and continues to dance around evading his
claw as he swipes at her repeatedly, before kneeing her
in the chest as she punches him.

CAMMY skids across the floor.

That’s it! I want to see

He kneels down before CAMMY, and runs her braid through his
claw.
JURI kicks him away, and walks forward.
JURI
Ehaha! This pervert is giving off
a real good vibe.
Then stops and wags her finger at him.
JURI
Hey. Perv. I was the one who
picked her up first, so that makes
her mine. Why don’t you go play
somewhere else.
VEGA gets up, and glares at her.
VEGA
You lack delicacy!
JURI
Ehaha. You’re the one who lacks
delicacy.
She walks away, clasping her hands together and mocking him.
JURI
So go back home and cry in your
pillow.
She turns to face him, and prepares to fight.
JURI
Time for fun…
FIGHT: JURI defeats VEGA
JURI
See ya, perv!
JURI kicks VEGA into the air, and he lands on a tall clock,
before flipping off it to land next to the
unconscious DECAPRE.
JURI
Crap, I guess I didn’t kill him.
CAMMY finally stands, with a weary, pained look on her face.
JURI
You wake up already?
Then turns to see VEGA standing next to DECAPRE.
Her face turns to a scowl and she dashes forward, kicking
VEGA hard in the face and sending his mask flying.
He flips back away from her, and she returns to combat
stance, on the edge of crying, but determined to defend
DECAPRE.
VEGA
Hmph, I see.
VEGA leaps backward up to the windows from which he entered.
VEGA
I’ll leave, for now.
He twirls out the window, and vanishes.
CAMMY stands, wobbling slightly, then turns to JURI, whose
phone has started to ring.
JURI
What now? Oh, it’s her.
*** ACT 4, SCENE 5 ***
EXT. MYSTERIOUS COVE - NIGHT
RYU is kneeling, meditating with his eyes closed. He
frowns.
RYU
Come on…
CUT TO:
EXT. DARK FEATURELESS PLANE
DHALSIM floats into view.
RYU, still kneeling, looks at him.
DHALSIM
If you continue to suppress the
Hado, you will be consumed by it.
RYU starts to ask him something when suddenly:
FADE TO:
EXT. FORGOTTEN WATERFALL - DAY
An image of KEN and RYU are standing in front of the still
kneeling RYU, who glances around, startled but not
unsettled.
KEN
I understand. I’ll take care of
this for you. You can come when
you’re ready.
RYU nods.
RYU
Ken. Be careful.
KEN nods.
KEN
I will.
FADE TO:
EXT. DARK FEATURELESS PLANE
RYU is alone again.
RYU
Damn it. I should be helping them.
RYU balls his fists and looks down at his hands.
RYU
But I can’t…
RYU shouts in frustration.
RYU
I can’t defeat this demon inside me!
RYU
Have to… control it…
RYU notices a presence, and looks up.
EVIL RYU is standing across the stage frm him. He charges a
dark hadoken and throws it at RYU.
FIGHT: EVIL RYU defeats RYU.
RYU falls to his knees.
He then lets out a scream of range and frustration, gets
back onto his feet, and throws a dark hadoken at EVIL RYU.
EVIL RYU absorbs the hadoken and glows with an aura of
Satsui no Hado.
EVIL RYU
I am the path of your destiny!
RYU looks at EVIL RYU, then back at his hands again.
RYU
I can’t win this way… I can’t
keep holding this in.
DHALSIM
(Echo)
If you continue to suppress the
Hado, you will be consumed by it.
RYU looks calmly at EVIL RYU, exhales, then closes his eyes.
RYU inhales slowly and deeply, drawing the Satsui No Hado
aura away from EVIL RYU and absorbing it. As he does so,
the image of EVIL RYU fades away.
CUT TO:
EXT. MYSTERIOUS COVE - NIGHT
RYU is standing in the middle of the stage. His form
crackles with Denjin lightning. He struggles with it,
dropping to his knees and holding his head and crying out
with the effort, before activating V-Trigger and charging a
Denjin Hadoken, which he blasts into the rock face ahead of
him.
RYU
Hyaah!
After this, the Denjin lightning crackling across RYU’s form
has returned to a managable level.
RYU
I see. So this is what you meant,
Dhalsim.
EVIL RYU
(Echo)
You cannot destroy me! You will
never escape your destiny!
RYU stands defiant.
RYU
I don’t have to! My friends will
never let me–!
He stops abruptly mid-sentence.
RYU
Ken!
He shifts out of combat stance, and looks around.
RYU
I’ve been such a fool. My friends
need me! I have to get back!
*** ACT 4, SCENE 6 ***
EXT. KANZUKI ESTATE - NIGHT
RYU is crossing the bridge toward the ballroom.
INTERCUT: KEN and RYU at the Forgotten Waterfall.
KEN
I’ll take care of this for you.
You can come when you’re ready.
EXT. KANZUKI ESTATE - NIGHT
RYU
I’ve put everything I had into this
training. It’s time I used that
training to help everyone who has
given me that chance.
RYU reaches the other side of the bridge and sees the empty
ballroom.
RYU
I hope I’m not too late.
Behind him, the familiar dark liquid seeps from the ground,
and NECALLI begins to form.
RYU hears something, and turns to see NECALLI finish
coalescing.
NECALLI
You. Warrior soul. Lost soul.
Devour. All souls mine! DEVOUR!
FIGHT: NECALLI defeats RYU.
NECALLI lifts RYU and roars, hair flaring and markings
glowing.
CHUN-LI drops onto him with a heel stomp on his shoulder,
slamming him down and forcing him to drop RYU, who rolls
away. NECALLI recovers quickly, as GUILE jumps down and
lands behind CHUN-LI.
NECALLI steps back.
GUILE and CHUN-LI release Sonic Boom and Kikoken at NECALLI.
He charges straight through both attacks, knocking them
aside, then turns back to face them as they quickly recover.
IBUKI lands behind NECALLI, taking his attention,
then DHALSIM teleports in as well, leaving NECALLI
surrounded.
He looks briefly around, assessing his situation, then
fixates back on the fallen RYU.
NECALLI
Lost soul, devour…
DHALSIM
He is no longer alone, therefore
his soul is no longer a lost sheep
for you to prey on! Leave this
place!
NECALLI growls, as they all assume their fighting stances to
face him, then melts away into liquid once more, and CHUN-LI
moves to check on RYU
CHUN-LI
Are you ok?
RYU
I couldn’t defeat him, again.
CHUN-LI helps RYU up.
CHUN-LI
Come on, let’s get you inside.
IBUKI
What kind of technique is that?
I’ve never seen that before. Is
that a new kind of teleportation,
Master Dhalsim? How did that thing
get back here before we did?
DHALSIM
Back here? You encountered that
being on your mission?
GUILE
Yeah, what was he… or it… doing
there anyway?
DHALSIM
If that being is attempting to
reach M. Bison, this situation may
be more grave than I thought.
Come, I will explain what I know to
you.
CUT TO:
INT. KANZUKI ESTATE - BALLROOM - NIGHT
RASHID, AZAM, IBUKI and R.MIKA are sitting or standing,
disheartened, around the room. CHUN-LI helps RYU to a
chair, and he sits down to rest.
RYU
Thank you.
Soon after, KEN and LAURA walk in.
LAURA
Wow, why all the long faces?
The group turns to look at them.
RYU and KEN notice each other.
RYU
Ken!
KEN walks over to RYU.
KEN
Well don’t you look like a mess?
Finish your special training?
RYU
I haven’t defeated the Satsui no
Hado, but I think I found my
answer. I can’t keep hiding
forever. Not when you are all out
there fighting without me. I have
to move forward.
KEN
Hey now. I told you, don’t worry
about that, alright? Take as long
as you need. I’ve got your back.
RYU
I can’t keep asking you to do
everything for me. You have a
family. Eliza. Mel. They need
you too. You should be here with
them. I have to fight my own
battles.
KEN
Hey, now. Don’t try and carry the
weight of the world on your
shoulders. You’re my family too.

RYU nods.

LAURA looks downcast at the question. KEN shakes his head
regretfully.
CHUN-LI
I… see.
KARIN walks in.
KARIN
Ah, Ryu. It’s good to see you
again. I take it you will be
joining us?
RYU
Yes.
KARIN
Good.
KARIN nods, then addresses the group.
KARIN
We came back here for now to
regroup, but we will be going back
to the Shadaloo base as soon as we
re-think our strategy. We must
stop them from dropping the moons.
ABEL
Uuuuuaaaaaaah!
The door to the ballroom bursts open and NASH
and GUILE stagger backwards out of it.
ABEL walks forward, glowing with Psycho Power. They
immediately tackle him again before being thrown back across
the room.
ABEL walks out into the room, before GUILE recovers and
hurriedly moves to faces him.
GUILE
No more!
GUILE throws a large Sonic Boom at ABEL, but he simply
catches it and tears it apart.
GUILE charges and tackles him, barely managing to hold
him in place.
GUILE
Charlie!
NASH stands centers himself and inhales as a swirl of green
energy emanates from the gem in his forehead.
He marches up to ABEL and places his hand on his forehead.
NASH
Here!
The Psycho Power aura begins to swirl into NASH’s hand. His
own gem glows even more brightly as he absorbs the Psycho
Power.
ABEL
Gaaaaaaahhhh!
NASH’s gem becomes encircled in a mixture of the green
energy and the Psycho Power.
NASH
Not yet!
He presses his other hand into ABEL’s forehead as well, and
a new surge of his green energy begins to overhwelm the
Psycho Power as it leaves ABEL’s form, until nothing else is
left.
NASH staggers backward and drops to his knee, as the energy
surrounding his arm and forehead fade.
ABEL collapses, panting.
CHUN-LI approaches ABEL and kneels next to him.
CHUN-LI
Are you ok? Do you know who I am?
ABEL
(Coughing)
Oui.
ABEL finishes coughing and turns to look up at NASH as he
stands up.
ABEL
You’re the one who stopped my
madness. Merci Beaucoup.
NASH turns and walks away.
GUILE
Charlie.
NASH stops, as GUILE reaches into his pocket and tosses
something to him.
NASH catches his old dog tags.
GUILE
You forgot this.
NASH looks at them for a moment, then looks back at GUILE,
and turns again to go.
As he leaves, ABEL seems to have a moment of clarity.
ABEL
Nash? Huh?
As NASH walks out of the ballroom, RASHID turns to follow.
RASHID
(To Karin)
We have to go. It seems Helen has
some new information for us. I’ll
contact you once we’ve learned what
this about.
KARIN nods.
KARIN
Mm.
They depart.
*** ACT 4, SCENE 7 ***
INT. UNDERGROUND ARENA
NASH and RASHID are walking through the light snow, AZAM
following closely behind.
RASHID
I really understand how you feel,
but Helen might have some new
information to share with us.
The door opens, and RASHID, NASH and AZAM walk in.
JURI is sitting at the bar counter and looks up as they
enter. CAMMY is leaning against a support column.
HELEN gets up from the couch and walks toward the center of
the room.
HELEN
I see everyone’s here.
JURI
So, you said there’s a way to stop
the moons?
HELEN
Yes, that is true! I have found a
solution.
RASHID approaches her enthusiastically.
RASHID
So there is a way!
HELEN
Yes. But it depends on you.
She holds up a phone toward RASHID. “VOICE MESSAGE” is
displayed on the screen.
LEI FEN
To the friend of that person. The
Usher.
RASHID steps back slightly in surprise, and listens.
LEI FEN
I found a command… “Light up the
pathway for those who stray. I
call thy name.” If we decipher
this, we can stop the moons. I
have skills… like, I know how to
read and write programs, to solve
the puzzles and problems that
computers have. But I can’t solve
the puzzle of a person’s heart.
But you… who are the friend of
“that person”… maybe you can…
RASHID looks down, solemnly.
RASHID
A command.
HELEN
It seems like a code. I assume you
can decipher it?
He takes the phone.
RASHID
Yes.
HELEN
I am impressed with Rashid of the
Turbulent Wind! I thank the
developer of the Black Moons… and
your friendship with her. It’s
kismet!
She claps happily in excitement.
HELEN
If the command is activated,
Shadaloo’s plan will come to
naught. Ehehe, I’m very exicted!
She turns to NASH.
HELEN
Of course, you will finally get to
kill Bison.
NASH shakes his head.
NASH
I can only do what is in my ability
to do. But I’m afraid that I won’t
be able to end Bison’s life.
HELEN
Tsk. Don’t say things like that.
NASH
I don’t have the strength to do
that. However, they do…
HELEN
Don’t say that!
She points at him, infuriated.
HELEN
Don’t you know how much I had to

And paces back toward him.

HELEN
What did you say?
NASH
I know I don’t have much time. So
I have to do what I have to do.
He turns and walks out.
HELEN stands, fuming.
RASHID
Hey, wait up!
RASHID runs out after him.
HELEN

EXT. KANZUKI ESTATE - NIGHT
RYU, KEN, DHALSIM and CHUN-LI are standing in the entryway,
talking.
KARIN walks into the room.
KARIN
Now everybody is here.
She looks around at them all.
KARIN
Well then. We’re going back to the
Shadaloo base.
CHUN-LI
And Nash and Rashid?
KARIN
I just received a report. They
believe they have found a way to
stop the moons.
KEN
That’s great! Then let’s leave it
to them to stop the moons. We’ll
go there to defeat Bison!
RYU
I’ll go with you.
KARIN
You’ve certainly made us wait for a
long time.
KEN walks over and leans on his shoulder.
KEN
Then I’m sure he’ll work twice as
hard, right?
CHUN-LI
We’ll all work hard.
She offers a handshake, which RYU accepts.
KEN puts his hand on theirs, then DHALSIM, then finally
KARIN.

Anything where Nash didn’t die at the end of the story without actually achieving anything > Capcom’s poor storytelling. I’ve only read that part and yours is a miles better story than the one we got.

Can’t say I read all of Act 1, but you seem way too attached to the original script and aren’t making worthwhile changes. As someone who wrote up a draft for a Season 2 story, I understand what you’re thinking, but if you’re only changing 5% of what happened then it isn’t much of a rewrite. Nice effort though.

“A Shadow Falls” is so terrible that should be deleted, they need a second chance. It’s easily one of the worst written stories i’ve already seen on any media. It’s bad in the levels of the SF american cartoon, really. The “street fighters” shouldn’t be treated like some kind of super heroes, its dumb as fuck.
It’s fine if you think some things should have been different (especially how Nash and Necalli were handled), but you’re basically copypasting the ASF script and tweaking it a little bit. You aren’t really adding anything, at least not in an obvious manner. It might be more constructive to outright state what changes (patch notes for a script?) instead of having so much redundant text.
Are we sure about that? If Capcom doesn’t have any plan for a sequel in season 2, what’s the point of akuma’s story outfit? I mean his body is crumbling, just like in the manga adaptation (after his fight against ryu). It can’t be a coincidence.
It’s for Akuma’s story mode? (Now THAT travesty I would fix with just ‘patch notes’ since it is short). But maybe not, the screenshots from the story mode have him dressed normally, how weird.
