What I’m getting here is that Pariston wants to make some of the 5,000 hybrids into Hunters. He has total control of the votes of the temp hunters so he can keep everyone trapped there as long as he wants. Pariston has manipulated himself into a situation where he wins no matter what. Either they vote him as chairman to escape and he has control of the hunter exam rules, or they get locked in the room until the exam…and as acting chairman, he still would have control of the hunter exam.
Not sure what’s going on with Gon. I doubt Pariston knows about Alluka though. Probably a setup for Gon and company that isn’t in the meeting to spoil whatever Pariston is planning.
Knowing Togashi, Pariston is going to get what he wants anyway with regards to the cocoons.
I have no idea what happened in this last chapter, but it was the only logical thing that could happen. Also that whole translation of the Alluka thing makes no sense to me.
With gon, its like if you asked god for the strength to lift an 18-wheeler off of your kid, and he gives it to you, and you lift it but your arms got fucking ruined because you aren’t invulnerable. He forced his nen to give him a body strong enough to beat Nef without caring what the consequences were.
No idea about the Alluka speech. I guess he was trying to say that Alluka only exists during those times that he said, and every other time its that wish-granting thing inside her.
Is it wrong that I could give a fuck whether Gon lives or dies?
I mean for a main character in this type of manga he is indeed cool, but shit I really could care less along as the crazy twists and characters continue or follow someone else. Hell, I am hoping the next chapter is all about Pariston playing mind games in the election and Leorio not knowing what the deal is.
Its been like 6 years (or more?) since Gon did anything. He also isn’t that interesting as a character development-wise, he is just fun to watch hang out with Killua and everyone else.
I have to say though, “It” seems really really interesting, though dangerous, especially with [details=Spoiler]its’ presence being felt so far as to the Zoldyck’s/The Election proceedings.[/details]
Wow, I am watching the new anime series, its actually pretty interesting so far. The island sort of reminds me of something from a book called “The Hunger Games”
If you liked The Hunger Games read Battle Royale it’s soooo much better. Both HxH and BR came before THG and you can see some similarites between the three of them it’s really nice.
I like both but the fillers and some changes in the new seems weird
