chapter up. didn’t read yet so no comment.

Ugh.

Pariston is OP

Pariston on the level of air Aizen?

i have a feeling they wont be able to find Killua, hes either wished to be with his sister to a place no one can reach or merged with his sister, sounds a little far fetch but i think thats what he meant by “being together forever.”

Series over?

Yeah, it’s looking like it’ll wrap up real soon, since Gon’s finally met his dad. Son of a bitch.

Series over…? Cryoh’s avatar’s expression equals mine at that possibility.

^Well, they still got the Genei Ryodan to wrap up right? We never found out what happened with Chrollo, and the Killua-Alluka deal might present a new mini arc in itself.

If you mean unanswered stuff then we still have the Jairo whatever. But at this point, I don’t trust togashi.

Pariston teams up with Jairo to turn all the cocoons into the dominant world power. Then Killua wishes it never happened and then EVERYONE wakes up.

Fin

We all saw how quick Togashi was to end Yu Yu Hakusho. I have no confidence in him finishing up the Genei Ryodan story with Kurapika, but maybe that’s me being a crotchety old man.

diff. circumstances though. w/ YYH, it was a big fuck you to his editor ( i think).
I BELIEVE…this can’t be over yet.
we’ll never see jairo again.

Health problems and a fuck you to his editor. YYH was questionable, but if he drops this series where he basically walked into jump with his dick out and set the terms (weekly means WHENEVER I WANT) it’ll be on him.

Don’t ever make Berserk and HxH your favorite series. :frowning:

Seriously though? The most likely scenario I see here is Gon refusing to see his dad until he can see him with Killua because the promise was that Gon would say “This is my friend Killua.”

That’s what I see happening besides we still have Genei Ryodan, Jairo, Hisoka, Illumi and possible future “from the scratch” arcs

(Geez, mangastream got fucked up.)

Despite my Internet issues this past month, keeping up with *Hunter x Hunter *has been quite exciting this year. Also, rather depressing in some respects even before the “threatened” resolution in the last chapter; Killua’s expression last chapter just kills me.

That said, as skeptical as I also am of Togashi, I think he’ll actually be able to finish at least another arc. He reportedly says that he wants to do at least three more arcs from a selected 6 and it seems like two of those are at least going to **have **to deal with what the hell is going on with Kurapika at this point, which likely leads back to the Genei Ryodan, and the fallout from this Jairo character. What the third one will deal with, if it’s not something entirely new, I’m not sure of. It might just be a resolution arc dealing with Gon fighting and killing Hisoka or something since, as Stabby mentioned before, Gon’s seriously been outpaced by Killua.

**That **said, I actually don’t think Gon meeting Ging here is the “end” of the series. It just the series’ titular goal. Sure, those are most often the same thing, but they don’t necessarily have to be, especially when the “main character” has been pushed to the sidelines for such a long while–an entire arc in the manga and for the past couple of years IRL due to hiatus and the length of the ant arc since Mereum was obviously the “main character” of that.

Hell, there’s nothing to say that Gon will even want to meet Ging right now considering he basically just blundered into the room and found him rather than found via “hunting”. It arguably defeats the purpose.

(I also find it funny that no one has pointed out that Ging was obviously saying “this was bad” purely because he figured this would happen, which is what I suspecting; I know some other people were thinking he was thinking “this is bad” because of Pariston, but I honestly don’t think Ging cares that much about Pariston even though he’s the only who’s “on” to him so to speak.)

Yeah, basically. I wouldn’t be surprised if his body just kept aging or his muscles just rapidly atrophied or rotted due to the strain. The only reason that he’s probably not is because of how learning to maintain Nen has life-lengthening affects and the fact that he didn’t use that much of his “boost” when he curbstomped Nef. And even then he apparently had to be put on life support/fell into a coma.

Yeah, that’s exactly what it’s saying. She basically blacks out like how Neon did when Neon was doing fortune-telling, except that for Alluka, it’s pretty much constant.

Told you soooooooo. [/singsong]

Heh, I kinda have to agree.

It’s weird, though. Between what a long shot it was and how he flip-flopped on victory so utterly, it was both “realistic” and made me actually…respect him. It’s…really weird seeing him being so actually sincere.

Anyway, I see Pariston winning this election, not that he has to. Someone above said that good guys “always have to win”. That’s not true. The world of *Hunter x Hunter *is easily a darker and/or more realistic Crapsack/Crapsaccharine World where there any clear victories for “good” over “evil”.

Hell, the cleanest victory in this manga was, what, over Gensuru/Genthru? The man who still got away with killing a dozens, if not at least a couple of hundred of people? Yeah, good obviously triumphs, especially when it just barged into the room and let the “bad guy” potentially handily win the election. Nice job breaking it, heroes.

why are all the links blank?

What links? I tested those in this page and they’re fine
