Then again, Gonās plan all along was to get Pitou alone so he must have something in mind. He hasnāt shown any new abilities since Jajanken, while Killua has something that is both new and strong. If it is a trap, will it wind up like everyone elseās fight?

The only time heās been shown lying is when he was stalling for time to heal Komugi recently. Otherwise, even when talking to the King, heās pretty direct.
Which makes all the more āfunnyā since I doubt he knew what a profoundly horrible effect his words would have on Gon since, ironically, Pitou is frankly still scared shitless of Gon right now and probably expects to dying fighting him. Iām sure Pitou sees this as perfectly fine as long as Gon is no longer a threat to the King.

Thereās not really anything stopping Pitou from using Kiteās/Kaitouās body against him.

Yeah, Iām not so sure Gonās the one in danger here, but this seems to come out of nowhere as i canāt recall anger ever being a significant power up for him, but it might be the fact heās gone off his rocker since kaitoās confirmed death and Pitouās obvious lies. :o

Gon going insane has been hinted at since the beginning of the arc, with Killua doing everything he could to prevent this from happening.
Was Nefās arm damaged by Neteroās punch way back at the beginning of the invasion?
Generally, Gon powers up when heās super focused. He powered up in Greed Island in the dodgeball battle, but I think the first trace of anger being a powerup was when he almost kills Morau in anger earlier in the Ant arc while thinking about Kaito. Iād pull up the page, but itās pretty easy to find.

Yeah, I must admit that Gon powering up is pretty impressive. I think the āneckā thing is just the art getting abstract again, unless Gon is pulling a Palmā¦which would be weird since he doesnāt even know about her Black Widow Armor.
I think Gon is powering just because heās angered. Itās probably because Kaito/Kite was extremely important to him and Nen has always been powered up things that the user has attachment to. Realizing that he had lost Kaito for good and that Pitou had lied initially about being able to restore that precious thingā¦yeah.
I doubt that his power will be enough by itself, but I also doubt that heās going to be coherent enough for Killua to help him easily.
And, frankly, things still look pretty fucking bad with Knuckle (and Jail) nowhere near Hakoware and Ikarugo by himself & now Palm by herself.

I had to think back to it as well, but if youāll remember, Pitou broke his own arm to show Gon his sincerety before he started healing Komugi. So he did it to himself.
I had completely forgotten about it myself.
