I have some ideas on how I’m going to do my dual mod, but I think my favorite is pulling out the LS/DP/RS (with it stuck on DP, of course) and mounting it on the side with a hole exactly like the one on the turbo panel.
Hell, if it wasn’t so cramped I could probably wire it to that.
sick stick raeli! you paste the art over the stock art? or you stripped the old stuff off? def need to do an art mod to really make my stick feel like its my own lol.
hello everyone, new to srk!
please don’t hate me cause I’m one of those, “joined srk because of SF4 hype.”:woot:
@boogah i was wondering how you made your se stick wireless? is it a padhack?
i looked on the forums ,but it seems i cant find ps3 wireless mod… I’m probably not looking hard enough.
also i went to pep boys and bought 3 cans of vinyl dye. worst vinyl dye ever.
The paint coming out was constantly dripping, even though it i wasn’t pressing hard and was thoroughly cleaned.
so it seems everyone is digging this krylon fusion, seems like i have to give this a try.
where can i find this krylon fusion? At an Auto Store or Home depot? i was reading on another thread i can buy the clear coat spray at home depot.
Go to like Hobby Lobby, I got mine from Wal*Mart, but they only had like 10-12 colors.
Home Depot specifically doesn’t carry it, I don’t know what Krylon did to them as a kid… but when I asked for it I got “WALMART.” and a ‘Go the fuck away’ kid look.
quick question please regarding the mad catz washer issue. in the video by Veri7as he mentions gluing down a washer. If you are swapping over sticks and the new one is sanwa (JLK) then do you still need to do this? surely the sanwa works fine and wont slide about? therefore is the swap out straightfoward - i dont fancy taking apart the actual stick
Can anyone tell me what the process is of taking a template from a file and getting that printed out and applied to your SE Fightstick?
I have a template from someone on this board (thanks Andyone!) but I’m a total newb at how to customize this stuff - I haven’t seen it posted anywhere either.
Has anyone replaced the wiring harness on the SE with the one that comes with the ls-32-01? I was able to change the buttons, art, and joystick thanks to this great thread. But I damaged the wiring harness that came with the SE fightstick. I was going to use the wiring harness that came with the ls-32-01, but only one end is a 5 pin connector. The other end is just bare wire. This is my first mod. How do I change the bare wire to a 5 pin connector?
So I replaced my stick with an LS-32-01, but I’ve noticed something peculiar with it. It seems that when the shaft rubs against the outermost edges, there’s an extra “click” going on, as if it was popping out of its boundaries. It feels like it should when I take out the cyan and navy blue plastic restrictor plates, but when I put the cyan piece back in I start getting that weird stickiness.
Serious? Well, so much for buying Seimitsu ever again. :lame:
I’m thinking about putting the stock stick back in again. That jumping is just ridiculously distracting, especially during tap-intensive maneuvers like focus attack dash canceling.
Hypothetically speaking, if I were to just leave the plastic gates out of the ls-32-01, would the plastic covering the shaft scrape against the metal circle?
I also just put an LS-32 into my SE, I was wondering if anyone had attempted to do a spring mod - doubling up the spring using the one from the stock stick?
I’m actually stuck at simply trying to get the e-ring off of the SE stock stick.
