Actually, anyone know the difference between the Seimitsu LS-32 and LS-56, and will the 56 fit in the SE?
You could have sat here all day, checking the thread. Hitting F5, hoping to see someone answer your question. I took the time to do it myself. Iāll think better of it next time.
You just joined the forum recently, please donāt alienate yourself from the rest of us so soon. Would hate to see you leave us suddenly. Good luck with your template.
Thanks a lot, RoboKrikit.
Thatās a good idea, I think Iāll pick up a couple of PS-14-D-N.
yes, and a bad one at that. i received my SE stick on monday. On tuesday, the (up) switch and 2 of my buttons (A) & (Y) were sticking. the top of the pcb board was worn out and made a short! and this is with-in 1 day of playing with it!
J.Garcia, that sounds terrible.
You know MadCatz should have just sold a set of blank control panels. Everyone switches the damn buttons out anyway, and most of the folks who would order the blanks know how to hack our favorite pads anyway.
WTFā¦ how did the PCB get worn out?
Anyone planning on doing a dual PCB mod on it yet? I wanna put in a PS1 pcb. Does the SE have a common ground?
im sorry if i wasnt clear, but the pcb where the switches for the stick are got worn out in 1 day!!! i am not a heavy or hard stick user either!. there is some sort of plastic or metal disc on the shaft of the stick that rubs on the top of the pcb and wore out the green protecting film than the copper on the board. more on the left side then on the top of the stick.
WOW! Thanks for the clarification. If you can Iād be really interested in seeing pictures. That is just crazy.
Most of us are obviously going to gut this thing; as long as the main PCB works it is a good deal. $40 for the PCB, $30 for the Case (+$10 for Xbox 360 for M$ tax) still beats going full custom.
totally sweet, been waiting for a guide like this, thanks!
nice guide. i would definitely recommend the SE with modding for anyone that canāt get a hold of the TE stick.
hereās what Iāve did so far.

Just ordered the JLF today from lizardlick so gotta wait up on that.
anyways the stick itself feels stiffā¦but the buttons are much better feel.
i just modded my se, i switched to sanwa buttons and seimitsu ls-32-01, and noticed that my stick wasnt registering, i switched the 5 pin connector upside down and it worked just make sure u put that pin in the right way lol
I donāt see the right jlf on lizardlick. It isnt the jlf-tp-t8 right? I found the JLF-TP-8Y on akihabarashop but the first drop down box is what color you want, but what am I supposed to choose in the second?
Jesus nevermind, with shipping everything would be 64 bucks from lizardlick. Might as well wait for the second run of TE sticks.
One last question. Would it be possible to fix my problem without getting any new parts? (left side of the stick diagonals arenāt registering correctly).
Hey guys i just got my SE stick today
and i love it
But theres a problem with it, the stick gets stuck from time to time
im a complete noob at the whole stick thing
how should i go about this without returning it
thnx
Thanks Jimmy, I donāt have this particular stick, hence why I asked,
The SE stick is a breeze to mod. but i kinda feel like the jlf sits a little too low. but its awesome for recycling my spare buttons and sticks. though i was one button short, so i got one madcatz button bringing down the quality of my stick.
Quick Question
I do Plan on putting all Sanwa parts,
Should I just wait the 90 days though?

That should give you an idea of what some people are doing
