The Horror Thread: Talk all things macabre

My buddy wants to watch that with me, gonna hunt it down asap.

I still can’t find a copy of It Follows, without buying it online o.0

Pay for it then jewbacca. It needs to do well so the director gets money to do more movies.

i can hook you up with a job so your broke ass can go pay for it

lol i can easily afford it, I haven’t bought a movie in probably a decade. I don’t support crooked ass Hollywood, aside from movie theatres.

Crooked ass movie theaters support Hollywood dude.

Buying a non Hollywood film helps the creators more or less.

Also wolfcop is on Netflix already.

I know a lot of people dislike these for just being awful movies, but as a fan I’m excited

Human Centipede 2 was terrible though.

They were all terrible

Check out Darknet if you have Netflix guys. Pretty cool show that is in the vein of VHS, in that it shows small stories with a wrap around.

Interestingly it has sone recurring people and ideas. I’ve been digging it and am almost done with it.

Hopefully they get a second season in Canada land.

Trailer is upon us

I’m at c2e2 and they have the insidious 3 haunted house thing. Gonna check it out.

Human Centipede 2 is one of the worst movies I’ve ever watched.

Finally got around to checking this out, figured I’d watch one or two, ended watching all of them in one sitting. Awesome show, hope there is more, that fucking cliffhanger though. Also excellent casting choices on the bitches in this, all of them were pretty hot from slutty punk girl to uptight stripper wife.

Just ordered this awesomeness as well, will be eagerly checking the mail this week. To anyone who hasn’t seen it check it out, very underrated movie IMO.

So has anyone seen Unfriended yet?

I dont know how I feel with this. Poltergeist remake

Just finished Human Centipede 3…yeah yeah, it sucks…we all know this already, so moving on…

Not much centipede action in this one, instead it focuses more on Dieter’s character who is batshit insane and completely hams it up for the part. They introduce the human caterpillar towards the end, a guy gets shanked in the side and then is kidney fucked via the open wound, and it also features one of the most realistic castration scenes I’ve ever seen. They don’t justr chop the guy’s dick off, they slice his balls open from behind and remove the testicles by hand.

I read an article on the 27 Most WTF Moments of The Human Centipede 3…why does that series again? The first one was just depressing, never saw the second one, and the third just ran with the outlandish factor.

So does anyone watch some of the films on Chiller? They’re not really bad but I don’t never really get the “horror” ascept of it and instead find the film I’m watching entertaining and not quite scary at all. That being said, some have caught my interest such as “Acolytes”, “Dead Before Dawn”, and “Bunnyman”.

I thought “Alyce Kills” was going to be a good movie, but the “buildup” to her insanity felt rather abrupt instead of gradual and the overall movie felt short. It’s okay, but it’s nothing big. I need to look back into VHS, though.

If I recall the second one just ratcheted up the violence and absurdity as well. That’s pretty much all they can do now that the concept behind it isn’t so new and unnerving anymore.

Watched Evil dead 2 again. Man the special features disk was were really good.

Dead & Buried is so gud, awesome pick up.

Probably check out the Babadook and some other stuff tomorrow.

Saw REC4, I have no idea what happened after two but 3 and 4 are fairly weak. 4 was stronger but damn something happened.
