I asked Giby if the Kuro VLX would have padding at the bottom like how the HRAP 4 Kai has. He responded that the Kuro VLX prototype does have the padding, and that it’s very likely that it’ll remain on the final product. wktk
Hi everyone I took the plunge on one of these too having canceled my Kai preorder. I also own a TE round 1 and a hrap v4 and actually don’t really think there’s that much in the buttons… at least now I’ve broken the hrap in, I don’t really have a preference button-wise. I generally now use the hrap more as the shape is a better fit for my hands.
/Edit by shape I mean the rest makes a huge difference for me and keeps my rsi (from a hand injury not old age…yet) at bay!
Anyway in other news those bags are in! (see splitframe.net) however the shipping to the UK doubles the value as even the cheapest option is $65…
Any options/ideas/kind souls on this front? You can buy 2 bags per VLX order.
I’ve got a lever and buttons waiting here for it already (and the bag ordered from Splitframe)! I like the idea of a pass through, but have never fitted one. I assume the hardest part is drilling the hole?
I’ve never used the Hayabusa & Kuro buttons so if I’m not feeling them then I have a set of silent Sanwa OBSCS-30 buttons waiting to be installed. Those were suppose to go in a Voltech VAS-22 but never got around to finishing that project. Might try a silent Hayabusa if I can ever find one. If not then the 2nd gen. silent Sanwa JLF but I’ve heard more good things about the Hayabusa compared to the Kuro’s.
both the PS3 and PS4 modes should work on PC, you can choose ether mode on the PC and it work just fine.
I just tried my Hrap V4, and it works on both modes.
