Thatās what I would be exclusively doing, I played with a Hitbox on my lap and Iām going to play the VLX on my lap as well. Itās a big step in width/size though! Thereās a few proās (Arturo/Sabin) that uses a VLX in the tournament setting.
There was one event(I forget which) Arturo said he had back pain the next morning from carrying his VLX around the tournament lol.
Anime player LordKnight and Alex Valle(not sure if itās his or not) used to use them during tournaments too.
@Jannodude you going to love it. When I pick it up from the post office I literally smile while carrying it on the way home. They look way better in person. Picture donāt do this fightstick justice
Yeah itās a big stick but when you first see and hold it in person you kind of expected it to be larger itās almost a compact kind of big if that makes sense, probably doesnāt but anyway. B)
sticks look awesome. Iām really hoping the red one is still available in June since thatās when Iāll have enough money for it. not holding my breath though.
One uses the Kuro buttons, and the other uses Hayabusa buttons. The hayabusa buttons are shorter, and have a quicker activation point. The busas make it easier to slide your fingers across the buttons without lifting them. Besides color, everything else is pretty much the same.
So I ended up ordering a VLX Hayabusa from ArcadeShock. Does anyone know how fast they are turning around orders and shipping using the FREE FedEx ground method?
Iāve had all versions of the VLX (multiple of a couple models) & some had very minor issues but nothing thatād annoy me. I think itās just hit or miss regardless which version of the VLX you get.
FWIW, Iāve had 1 x RAP3-SA, 1 x RAP3 Amazon Japan exclusive (white), 4 - 5 RAP V3-SA & 1 x RAP4 Kaiā¦and none of them had issues, LOL!
my experience is that the kuro is just a touch higher quality than the hayabusa. The only thing that differentiates the quality is the paint used on the metal panel. the hayabusa has a slightly lower quality paint
I have the HRAP V Hayabusa, and am looking into the VLX Hayabusa for better quality board. However, I find the wrist resting area (below the joystick) to be quite short, when compared to a TE2.
My question, is the VLX hayabusa and HRAP V hayabusa share the exact same buttons and more importantly, same wrist resting size area under the Joystick? Thanks in advance!
