Yep. That list gives me nightmares. It’s a major stain on an otherwise groundbreaking (even literally! I imagine it could deal some damage to the floor if I dropped it, lol) Arcade. If I had confidence I could put another PCB in there, I’d do it. Not even talking about the touch pad; I don’t know that I could keep the small button panel (the one with the Select and Home buttons) working. ;(
Well, being able to use the VLX on additional platforms would be very nice too (e.g., I have a thing for PS2 support).
Alright stop, its been proven time and time again by Evo win lost results that the whole controller lag thing does not effect game play
at least not by a whole lot. Even lagging by entire frame (16.6 ms) is not a big deal (ignoring crazy competitive players) I not even going into what I think is faulty in the results of the Lag thread.
All those results aren’t accurate. The “results” give are trying to give stats that are more precise than what the testing method allows.
Hey guys, I’m sort of new at modding Hori stick and I have a question - how should I install the Sanwa buttons? I tried putting one in today and it wouldn’t pop into place. Do I have to remove the art cover? I didn’t have to when I put in new Kuro buttons
Thanks, Rygod. I had a feeling that was the case but it was really scarring up the little bevels on the sides of the button , so it freaked me out a bit.
The owner speaks very good english… I speak very terrible Japanese. I can basically say Hello, Thanks, and Where’s the bathroom
Agreed. A super secret friend is sending me one tomorrow so I don’t have rip mine apart when it arrives and so I can start probing it for measurements and finishing of the helper. They are totally cool with me pulling it apart in a million pieces
I’m going to order a HORI RAP4 Premium VLX KURO from AS but the option to box the product box it comes in for the additional cost is gone. I assume they ran out of boxes (haha!)? Or they’re out of stock and haven’t updated? Or I can ask at checkout to have them box the box I suppose… I hope I don’t sound too rhetoric. After seeing the pic a few pages back of the regular box being shipped, I’m not too comfy to my stomach about it being sent that way. I’m going to e-mail AS of coarse but with the product still being available, who knows if my order will be the last? Heh… Any comment would be appreciated.
PS I’ve not ordered from AS before but did create an account.
Yep, just having the box it comes with will protect the stick, only way I see the stick being damaged if it was dropped off a truck and rolled 100 times or something really long and sharp stabbed through the box.
I’m sure the stick would make it without trouble. I agree. I’m a collector so I try to keep my boxes in the best condition possible. Just wondering why AS would grey out the option to have the product box protected.
