Email AS again as they might be willing to cancel the second order. I purchased two as well (first within a week of availability & the second a month later) & they responded after I sent a second email (said they were extremely busy with NorCal regionals) to confirm the cancellation of the second order.
I figure at this point Iâll just keep it.

Hey all, decided to make my first post since I got the stick delivered a week before NA because I currently live in Japan.
So the stick felt very good overall quality wise, which was to be expected for the price tag. Only small negative thing I noticed were some colour shade differences in the plastic part. Something worth pointing out were the kuro buttons, which didnât squeak at all no matter how I pressed them. That squeaking has usually been pointed out as a negative attribute to said buttons. Maybe they have improved the quality or I could have just got lucky.

Now thatâs one sexy mofo!! Since it doesnât come with the black wooden stability board, does it at least have foam cushion on the bottom side similar to the two previous VLXâs? Pics of the bottom would be great if possible, thanks!
The stick has padding on the bottom which felt thick enough to be able to comfortably play with the stick on lap.

oh em gee!!! Looks so nice! I know the Hori Kai has padding on the bittom, I guess the VLX must be similar. Looking forward to the picture!
Not sure how thick the paddingâs on the V4 Kai but the padding on the VLX is significantly thicker than on the V3 Kai. Itâs more like foam instead of the paper thin padding on the V3 Kai.
Does the padding on the VLX cover the entire bottom area or is limited to leg strips like the Kai?
Kuro only squeaks when the button hole is too tight.
Not sure about the PS4 version but the previous 2 PS3 versions covered most of the bottom.
Edit: After seeing a pic of the PS4 version, the PS3 versions are exactly the same. FWIW, on the PS3 versions all four screws can be removed to mount the black wooden stability board in the same screw slots.
Sorry it took me so long to post the photo of the bottom but here it is. It is indeed of quite a thick foam that pretty much covers the whole bottom.

That foam will allow me to play SF in my underwear. Yes that happens. My Hori HRAP v4 metal case is so cold on my legs in the morning!
