I’m at NCR right now. I talked a lot with Vic from Arcade Shock and God Bless the work he put into collaborating with Hori, he told me the story. I touched the prototype and I came all over the place. I had post-coital glow when I left. Arcade Shock also has some new shit coming in the next year or 2 or 3 to be staggered in release. Vic says the Arcade Shock stick will have a way where you can change a button in 15 seconds, and it’s not using the quick release opening the stick function. He’s keeping quiet on the mechanism but I’m going to wait out on getting a Panzer with how he described it. He said that it’s designed by Arcade Shock, but going to be produced by Hori. wktk can’t wait.
I’m a bit drunk right now to tell you how the collab happened but you can ask him if you see him at SCR and EVO. If I remember right, he said that the AS stick should be able to play on NeoGeo as well. Hype

It’s 24mm.
The Start button is 24mm, just like the the actual Vewlix cabinet and many of the Hori sticks like the HRap VX/V3 and V4 sticks.

It doesn’t look like this version comes with the wood baseboard. Anyone with the OG VLX or Diamond use their baseboard?

Both og & Diamond VLX’s came with the black wooden stability board. I emailed Hori USA & they confirmed the Kuro VLX PS4 won’t come with one. I used it all the time since my man cave doesn’t have a coffee table. The VLX’s were on a cushioned storage ottoman so the stability board came in handy but if you’re using it on a hard flat surface then it won’t make a difference.
I was thinking of lining the interior with felt or cloth to dampen the sound.

How can Hori USA still be taking pre orders of VLX’s at this point? Hope this doesn’t wind up a mess.
Because they’re the manufacturer so I assume they would have more stock than AS.
I’m glad I could secure one from Arcade Shock, Hori USA doesn’t ship to Canada.

Yeah I ordered two as well, I actually tried to cancel the second one right after placing my order (ordered a few hours after they put them up for sale) but arcadeshock never replied. I’ve got enough sticks as it is
Going to bling one of them out, JLW/smoke KNs with RG switches and perhaps an LED mod at some point.
The other is staying in the box I guess.
