The og VLX’s pushed the premium factor to another level compared to other sticks (don’t bring the hoone neo legend ostrich stick in to this).
I feel hori should have gone a step further somehow, but they’ve actually gone a step back because the finish is going to be lesser quality than the diamond VLX’s
Well the finish on the Diamond isn’t really a finish at all it’s bare brushed stainless steel, or brushed steel with some sort of clear coating so it doesn’t rust etc
Can always go that route. Keep in mind, the LS-32-01-SC uses proprietary shaft covers; Seimitsu’s own optional covers will not fit. On the upside, at least the default is black!
Im torn over what stick to put in mine. I have a spare LS-32 sitting around and also a few JLF sticks with a few different weight springs. Going to use the Pink RG sanwas I got from secret santa this year.
Not sure if Hori USA will ship to Europe since there’s already a Euro (or UK) division but keep in mind they’ll ship without an outer shipping box whereas AS has a $10 option to ship with one so helps out on such a long trip and/or if you’re a collector.
Besides a 3rd party shipping service, this product is exclusive to Hori & AS outside of Japan.
As previously stated by @d3v, this was AS’s idea so probably wouldn’t have been possible without them. Also, as I mentioned in my last post, the sale of this item is exclusive to Hori & AS outside of Japan.
Would be nice if Hori USA shipped to their neighbors also, and not for some insane shipping price as the duties/customs/taxes/brokerage would be bad enough.
Well, US customers have nothing to complain about if they wanted a VLX. Been over 2 weeks and still available for preorder. Thanks to Hori and Arcade Shock for giving us a chance and offering a classy premium stick this gen.
If it’s not on their Euro/UK site by now then they probably won’t have it for sale but who knows. My guess is that not enough interest given the price.
Will never happen, you have to deal with licensing and sales agreements. There are some countries that there companies/distributors hold exclusivity rights. Hori USA will not go against their HQ.
Hori USA will not cross into Hori Europe territory.
Agreed, well the last remaining unsold sticks will be sold at NCR, SCR and EVO 2015, well that assuming they have any PS4 VLX sticks left by the time they get to Evo 2015.
Honestly, no joking. I think that much of the game market/industry hates Europe (especially Eastern Europe). I understood the European market has almost nothing when it comes to options for the PS4 and Xbox One.
Have the Hrap V4 or the Mad Catz TE2 arrived yet in Europe? All you guys got is a knock off of a Mayflash stick.
The high import tax kills any interest from Europe. I seen what should of been $100 arcade sticks go for $250 in Europe. How much would a Hori Hrap VLX PS4 Hayabusa would go for in Europe if the US price is $300?
If you lived in Europe, (in terms of cost) you be better off having B15 build you a custom with similar measurements to the VLX.
Yeah it sucks, at least Arcadeshock had free shipping to USA, all I have to do is drive 10 min across the border and pick it up from where I shipped it to, no tax either so it’s no so bad.
