Assuming no one else responds, youāre best off finding the dimensions of the VLX itself, then finding a bag with 6 inches per edge to spare (so 12 inches total width and height+ base) and going from there. Youāll want to buy your own padding so you will need the extra room for it.
Did you already have some bags in mind? How much do they cost?
I think this will work
The dimensions of the stick are 22.4 x 10.2 x 5.5
Nice. Good luck! PM me back (if you remember) how the bag works for you. For $20 I might just get one myself to put stuff in.
Paying $20 for a bag must be a nice feeling than having to give up another $80. Keep an eye out on the shoulder strap issue, though. Some posts over there saying that it broke on the first usage. Iāll bookmark it. Only reason I didnāt instantly pull the trigger is because of those broken strap issues.
BTW if you want to pay a bit more and donāt want any strap issues, try this bag instead. Plus it also converts to backpack.
Take a look at it.

For $65 I canāt pass it up. (I chose the black one. Brown one seems like its made for women).
If youāre buying it for the stick, I would recommend cancelling the order, because the dimensions come no where near close. The dimensions I gave for the stick are in inches, that bagās not cutting it.
If youāre buying it for something else, it is a sexy looking bag.
Iāll PM you after CEO to let you know if the strap survived the trip.

This one doesnt seem to have strap issues and is actually bigger. So dealerās choice.
Actually fuck it. Buy this one.

@SpaceOutNightmare
I donāt own the VLX I bought the bag just for general purpose. My sticks are a UFB modded Qanba Q4 and an original 360 TE stick. I needed a bag that can be used as a backpack or as a duffel. Tired of using my 17" Laptopās Targus XL backpack as my shopping bag.
have you gotten that in yet? curious to see how the VLX looks on it/how sturdy it feels.
Does anyone know if the new vlx the all black one and red one with the matte black buttons do the come with turbo?
It doesnāt.
I just got that Bago bag I mentioned yesterday. Arrived today.
100% certain the Rap4 VLX will fit in it. I checked the dimensions. Itās huge. It fits.
If it doesnāt, you can come shoot me (I promise).
The Hori is:W 22.44 in x L 10.24 in x H 5.51 in
The Bago is : 13ā x 23ā x 11ā inch (32 x 58 x 27 cm)
Easy fit (note I donāt have a VLX, but logic is logic)
When you said it didnāt fit, you were probably going off this:
12.1 x 9.9 x 6.1 inches " <āthis is incorrect specs. I donāt even know why this is listed on the amazon page but its misleading. The bag comes FOLDED INSIDE another carry bag, which is 12.1 x 9.9 inches (it looks like a purse). You have to open that up and remove the folded up duffel bag, then youāre greeted by a nice gigantic VLX compatible backpack!
Plus unlike regular duffel bags, this also converts to a backpack; there are two straps inside a zipper pocket that come out. Not sure how durable it is compared to my Targus XL laptop backpack, but itās really nice. Threw a Ducky YOTG keyboard, a old MSI 17" gaming laptop and Qanba Q4 in there, with room to spare.
Not exactly ideal as a laptop backpack as thereās no dedicated compartment for it, but if you have multiple things to put in to stop stuff from bouncing around (likeā¦a fightstick!), it works.
The big thing is this can be used as a backpack, so you donāt have to just hold it in your hand. Then you can bike your way around with it.
If you guys need a VLX carrying bag, consider it.
btw the price already went up $3 dollars since yesterday.
I sure did. It does not feel sturdy if you rotate your joystick aggressively. Overall, the table does not take up alot of space and it is not heavy at all. If you use to placing your joystick on your lap, it should be fine. Beside, is only $35 buck now at Walmart.

Honestly the not feel sturdy part would keep me from getting that stand.
But I appreciate that you shared your findings.
Hi guys, need help with deciding which VLX to get - if any. I have old TE Round 1 which does not work on PC. Now i decided to buy new stick for ps4/pc. I was pretty firmly decided on Hayabusa V, but some quality issues in this thread threw me off a little. Now i am thinking, if it wouldnt be better to go with VLX diamond - i know its ps3 only but does it work on PC?
Know of a place to get a Diamond for around the same price? because finding one brand new or mint will cost almost double the price.
You can get quality issues with any of the models(the dents on the front slant) it just seems more likely to get on the Hayabusa as far as a few out of many people have been posting.

There are no outstanding āquality issues.ā As has already been stated by both Darksakul and the mod of these forums (who wrote the recent VLX review), the dimples are a byproduct of the manufacturing and itās the luck of the draw whether any particular sample has them or not. Buying a Diamond isnāt going to save youāsome Diamonds have also had the dimple marks, then when swapped for another diamond, was dimple free. There are times you have to just not be anal about silly things and just accept stuff instead of being OCD about it. Itās like having a tiny little scuff mark on the corner of your brand new $30 pro gaming black mouse pad, and your eyes magically gravitating to it whenever youāre in range, and then you think nothing except about exchanging it. Now if there were fabric coming out causing tracking errors and a physical protrusionā¦thatās different.
Looking for video on how to swap hayabusa stick with sanwa one on vlx
Remove the ball top with a flat head screw driver, unscrew the 4 screws on the mounting plate, unplug the 5-pin wire harness, place the JLF and do the reverse order.
I just got my VLX Hayabusa today and Iām pretty impressed. I actually liked the lever and buttons, but I had to swap them out with a silent JLF and silent OBSFs; itās the only way my wife would let me keep it. One thing drove me nuts: the Sanwa snap ins didnāt fit. I finally ended up shaving the ridges on the sides of the buttons down a little with a hobby knife. Has anyone else had trouble with replacement buttons not fitting correctly?
Snap-in buttons normally take some force to pop in and those little tabs get shaved down by the metal panel when you insert them, mainly because they are meant to be installed once then only replaced once broken.
