The primary strength of Warlock is he is near impossible to shut down early game and mid game Bonds and Infernal will end a team battle. While he’s not a very good hero in his own right he’s so incredibly powerful in turning the tides of 2 battles you’ll probably win the game off them.

Of course the game is changing to a more gank oriented play style so he’s kind of seeing less use now.

You’re dumb. Warlock is still used in tourneys all over the place. And if it’s -xl, obviously viper’s gonna be removed. TDA is actually where i’ve seen Warlock the least.

Viper also loses effectiveness fast. He’s a godly laner, but once it hits late game, he just becomes average. That’s why a lot of teams are using Nevermore now. AOE ulti, great laner, great dps late.

I’m not. I’m an average to below average DOTA player. I’ll be the first to admit that. But I also keep track of league play and higher strategy, even if i’m not able to actually implement it. You can beat me 100000x times with ___ vs Warlock, and it won’t prove anything other than i’m not good at DOTA. Warlock will still be a viable laner in high level play.

TDA since 2004, so I know it’s not a ‘pro league’ I’m just tired of people who moniter things and don’t experience the ‘higher level gameplay’ talking about it like they do. If you’re not ready to be challenged to a match where you need to put what you’ve said to test, don’t make those sort of statements. I wasn’t arguing that warlock was a bad hero at all, and if you didn’t see that, you need to keep your mouth shut instead of trying to seem like some badass. It’s not cool, it’s annoying, take it to TDA/pubs. This is a discussion bored, not one where you get angry like some 12 year old who dropped some shit on their toe and scream. Grow up.
