Hi, I agree. Do you think a blink dagger is necessary for him? Would you get one as an alternative to additional HP, or along with more HP.
I’d really like to think it depends on the matchup. If you’re facing against a tinker, something that can normal attack once and two hit nuke rhasta, then I’d say the hp is neccessary, but dagger is important, because his disables can surprise a group if he blinks in to set up for his team.

Its an offensive tool for placing wards iin the middle of a fight, and a great escape method.

i keep up with this thread every once in awhile and it cracks me up everytime 1v1 is mentioned in dota.
shadoword is okay
and reign of chaos is okay.
fatal bonds is okay.
and his slow is a channel. never seen good synergy with it though. itd be nice if someone can prove me wrong on that point.
conclusion: warlock is garbage. id choose BEAR ANY DAY over warlock.
Warlock isn’t garbage though. . . Shadow word stacks with Bottle, so you can get crazy regen for tough lane combos. Reign of chaos is better than ‘okay’, its a fairly long range stun and if the opportunity presents itself properly he can instantly take control of most situations. Not to mention, his attack is really good, not quite Pugna good but still a great standard attack.
Bear is good because he gives your team two solos. . . but most of the time Sentinel don’t even want that.
Bear is too random imo. No entangle = u get owned.
Yeah but that’s like saying don’t pick spirit breaker because his bash won’t ever come out. Bear has one of the fastest attack speeds, and does incredible damage. But personally, I don’t like putting rad on him. I think it’s a strat that works, yes. I’d rather go tank bear though. ORiginal sylla with S and Y, Crit, and a basher is a great tank as well as decent DPS. The assist of the spirit bear helps tank too because of entangle chancing. But that’s just how I play him in IH.
How is a free escape or free advance on a hero bad?
I’m not saying I get it on every hero, but its never a bad choice.
uh, you’re agreeing with me, there’s only a few heroes its actually bad on (any hero with an ability that fits blinks use), otherwise it’s only somewhat useful unless the hero needs a positioning setup or escape mechanism in which case it becomes almost mandatory (aka 90% of the better heroes)
of course, it’s just downright near useless on like, meepo, pudge and spectre
