How does anyone in the CIA trust Carrie
Jack was the head of CTU at one point, he went through a lot physically and mentally to earn that trust. Carrie’s character on the other hand seems just too unbelievable, the writers let her get away with a lot.
I knew he wasn’t going to go rogue mainly because he wants to be with Carrie at the end of the day. It was still crazy during that moment when you know something was going to go down. This impromptu extraction plan has to greatest McGyver shit ever, but I can’t imagine it being believable.
All I can say is damn…Homeland is beasting. I will have to give it the winner this year cause Boardwalk was good but this just took the cake.
Man that Brody an General scene… too good!!! like yall can not wait till Sunday cause jeez I have to see how they extract him IF they do or leave him stuck over there.
EDIT: I also believe Jack MADE himself head of CTU at some points early in the series ROFLMAO…“im sorry im relieving you of command” lmaoo
I dunno im still putting Boardwalk ahead because while Homeland became great again in the last 3 episodes the beginning of this season was pretty rough.
I put Boardwalk ahead overall because Season 2 of Homeland existed. One of the biggest falloffs I’ve ever seen in a critically acclaimed show.
I actually didn’t mind the first 3 eps, they were good in setting up the “surprise”, which I admit is one of the few surprises to wow me in a long time.
The finale has leaked.
Is it one of those leaks with all the placeholders and green screens visible? If so, I’ll just wait
Started watching this show thanks to Netflix, and now I’m caught up. Good stuff, though I find Carrie to be annoying. Saul is badass.
That pic of the actress playing Saul’s wife…where’s that from? :wow:
nope, finished ep, dvd quality.
The movie is called Mississippi Masala starring her and Denzel Washington.
anyone watch it yet?
I just did, satisfying ending.
[details=Spoiler]There was no other way it could have ended.
Part of me was hoping they’d faked Brody’s hanging.
Glad to see Saul and wifey happy at last
Carrie still being carrie. Drawing the star on the wall was a great way of saying goodbye, I immediately thought Brody’s daughter would have done the same thing, perhaps Carrie wasn’t doing it for herself but doing it for their unborn daughter.
Is that a wrap for this show? There didn’t seem to be any sort of indication that the series would continue beyond Brody[/details]
good ending.
Sauls Wife: “teeee shirrrrt”
MY DIIIIIICK!
It was the most realistic ending based on all that happened.
Honestly if it ended here Id be ok with it and rate it as an “OK” series over all.
Pass on seeing Carrie balancing baby and work, her giving up the kid would be best for the show.
Pass on Saul not being involved.
Jivahdi as main villain would be good although how could he possibly turn on the CIA with what they have on him?
I really hope Damian Lewis gets another show he carried this season of homeland.
After that ending… im done. Nothing else can bring me back for that show.
I guess since literally the main cast has signed on for other shows/movies I guess it had to be done. Damn… solid series overall.
The entire safehouse scene between Brody and Carrie was the showrunners explaining why they were about to off Brody. Realistically, he had no where to go. The entire world thinks he’s responsible for Langley and he erased all good will with the only country that would take him in.
The only question is what route the show will take now. You have to imagine Saul is coming back. The diner scene was the setup for that. You also can’t have Homeland w/o some semblance of Brody so the baby will most likely be in play as well.
That baby is going to turn right out of the womb and suicide bomb the whitehouse.
^ But since this is one of Showtime’s bread & butter original programs, they’re not going to end it while it makes sense. Most likely all we get now is an annual clusterfuck similar to what happened to Dexter.
