Just watched episode 1, I’m glad they brought it back now.
Woah Claire is all kinds of crazy now.
Kid is probably supplying IS with medicine for their wounded.
The black knight turned into a white knight, Claire will eventually make him have a complete nervous breakdown.
So just when I think they can save this show they use the god awful “character didnt realize they were in love with another character until a psychologist tells them” plot device from fucking DEXTER? Cmon showtime, again?!
This season is showing a bit of promise, infanticidal Carrie though, really? Really? I mean Carrie has always been off but that’s pushing it…
But on more pleasant news. Nerdy spy dude managed to get that gorgeous Iranian chick he was fawning over last season, I suspected that would happen this season, so this was a pleasant surprise.
Peter Quinn has a thing for redheads, in all shapes and sizes. I wish he wasn’t so whipped on Carrie, who is selfish bitch for trying to goad him back when he’s clearly not psychologically ready. I think she’s going to regret it…

I would’ve felt sorry for the kid, except he turned down a beautiful Pakistani girl who actually loved him for a crazy, self absorbed bipolar American chick who planned to rename him “Collateral Damage” at a moment’s notice. Seriously, Carrie is the most unlikeable protagonist in the history of television, and there’s been shows about serial killers and mobsters. Yelling at my sweet sweet Farrah like that, when she was the one that discovered that this terrorist was still alive. Fuck her!
That plot twist was decent though, if Carrie had ordered the murder of Saul and it went through I would’ve stopped watching the show for good.
Yeah but thats what I kinda didnt like about last episode. Would they have been able to just disobey her order to strike on Quinns say so? The CIA is so loosey goosey in this show which is what makes it so unbelievable and shitty at times. However, overall I say that the show has kinda redeemed itself and is still watchable so thats a good thing. Do you guys think theyd be able to kill Saul and Carrie (or just carrie) and reboot the show with a new cast? It could work because to me the strong point of the show has been the espionage and the conflicts more so than the character development and its far past the point where Carrie having a job at the CIA ( nevermind the authority she has) is unbelievable.
side note: Farrah is gorgeous.

Saul decap via Taliban, then airstrike on Uncle Taliban (cant mind his name) clears up that arc, Then ISI /Boyd/(probably Max as well?) take down Carrie with some counter espionage showdownery.
Peter Quinn getting center stage, up the ratio of his James Bonding against his crying about crazed whores. Also get him to bang Fara cause the old people that watch this show in the States need that drama and I need to see that bitch naked xD
Bring back Mozart Assassin Dar Adal and have him kill his way to take over the CIA and avenge Saul and declare war on the ISI.

The Saul and Brody parallels can’t be coincidental. But Saul isn’t a soldier so I don’t think he will be turning into a jihadist at any point.
