Yes, as there still is the concept of consent. If you donāt want the advance, especially off camera, legally you are still protected from it.
Same how a prostitute can claim sexual harassment and Rape. In the Prostituteās case they can claim Rape as theft as well.

I know it seems like I was defending her, but I wasnāt. I said she was fucked up. I should have clarified in my previous statements that that was in regard to why she blew by as a news story while everyoneās all over Harvey. Plain and simple, a chick banging a 17 year old dude isnāt going to get as much buzz as a prolific movie executive having exerted his power over women for years and finally being brought to justice. Thatās why she flew under the radar.
Plus, America in general doesnāt seem to give a fuck when a hot chick bangs an underaged dude. We see the dude as lucky.

Itās not that it didnāt get as much buzz. She didnāt fly under the radar, she was invisible to it. It got NO buz. It got nothing. She got nothing. No one fucking cares. At all. 17 is kind of the line though. If dude had been 16, absolutely it would have been wrong, if heād been 18, sheād have been in the clear. Itās not really pedophilia per se, and I think trying to make it that only does a disservice to actual pedophilia.
Sheās definitely in the wrong, but there are a lot of reasons she didnāt catch hell like Harvey did, the reversal of genders being only one.
The circumstances of her situation makes the matter worse. Its not like she hooked with some random dude at club that was using a fake ID. She knew the dude since he was 8. He played her son in a movie and they kept in touch with each other. That comes off as grooming man. This situation comes off as creepy.

Nothing will happen as a result of this. She still will get roles and makeup endorsements even after admitting to what everyone knew was the case, itās just more of the same narrative that a man in that situation will never win whether he hits her or just stands by defending himself.
The same thing happened to Jackson Browne. He got painted as a woman beater after this incident with Darryl Hannah. He got a call while in studio that she was tearing up his apartment, he goes back there, and when she tried to hit him with a bat, he grabbed her arm rather forcefully to keep her from doing so and thus became a āwoman beater.ā
