Hmmm… I wonder if any of the guards helped themselves to the big pile of money on Linderman’s table? Sheeeiiit, I know I would have, my boss is dead and I’m out of a job, call it severance pay, bitch!
If peter took a bullet to the brain he would not regenerate because his brains would be all over the place. In order for the regeneration to occur his brain has to be intact and free from foreign objects. A bullet to the brain means he would actually die.
lol you clearly aren’t watching the same show i am…peter is on some wolverine bullshit.
Yeah something tells me he could regrow that chunk of brain easily.
well we haven’t seen any pieces of the brain removed from the self healers. Getting stabbed in the head just means your brains are pushed apart, not completely seperated. So i dunno.
Also the people complaining about Peter not flying are being moronic. If he’s having trouble controlling the radiation power why would you assume he could just easily fly away at the same time that’s going on?
I don’t want Nathan to die because Adrian Pasdar is the best actor on the show.
In the future sylar ate clairs brain. She did not regenerate. That is why I think its necessary to keep the brain in your skull and free from debris.
Yeah i definately think the brain needs to be essentially intact, but I think a shotgun blast to the face would have to do them in. Not sure what typa hole that gun claire had would put in someone’s dome.
sucks that heroes is a drama first, and super hero oriented show second. imo they could do so much more with this show, but w/e. last episode was sorta cool, although id wish they’d stop wasting time with useless filler and demonstrate peoples powers and limitations. there also needs to be a lot more sinister plotting.
all in all, heroes is a good show, i just think people love to hate drama. its easy to say “lawl peter is so emo” but to actually understand where hes comming from is different. hes basically the most powerful hero in the show and was tasked with saving millions of lives, i think its safe to say you’d be frustrated too.
ps. peter is emo and nathan was a tool.
Oh yeah. Unless Linderman didn’t have a skull, DL should have fucked up his hand, but he didn’t. Whoops again, writers?
Huh? Explain?
See the thing I don’t get is that a lot of complaints come as if people have a IRL basis with scientific research done on people with superpowers.
Finale was cool as an episode but I also felt it was a letdown as finale to an entire season of hyping up “tah exploding man!”
I read recently that one of the main writers of lost came on for this show and I see that as a major bad thing. I have always felt Lost’s glacial pace to be unwatchable. The first half of this season had some episodes that were VERY slow and I would like to see them keep more of the pace of the end of this season instead of dragging things forever without answering any big questions (AKA lost) to see how many seasons they can milk out of a good show.
When they let the pacing move normal its an amazing show and Ill continue to watch but I just really hope it doesnt become a mess of endless unresolved questions.
DL phased through Linderman’s head and then re-solidified his hand. I’m assuming that the scientific explanation of Linderman’s death has to do with the property of two objects not being able to occupy the same space at the same time, making DL’s fist crush Linderman’s brain because it is harder. However, if you use the same principle, Linderman’s skull (which was shown to also have been destroyed or something) should have fucked up DL’s hand/arm, as bone is harder than flesh.
this is true
if hes in phasing mode his hand would just go through the brain too, as soon as he stops that the back of lindermans head would’ve formed around his arm
you guys are forgetting that he can phase with objects he is touching. remember how he brought nikki with him through the wall because he’s touching her and she’s like if you do that ever again i’ll kill you.
And? Way to call us out without explaining your position. Explain to me how Linderman had a hole in his head afterward, then. I’ve already come up with a possible explanation, but it’s stupid.
Was it a hole? Or just a dark blood stain?
He could have just phased his fist in lindermans head and kept his wrist unphased. Kinda like how he opened the car door.
This man has the answer. Also he could have easily phased just part of linderman’s head which would leave him in the situation he was in.
iirc the marvel character vision has a similar ability, and he had complete control over the density of his body. this let him both phase through stuff and make his body as impermeable as diamond or something. this could explain why DL’s hand did not get chopped off inside linderman’s brain housing group during the brain squash no jutsu. but then again, the show has some terrible terrible plotholes already and it’s more than likely this incident will never be properly explained and consequently become another of many heinous holes in the plot.
yea… but this would have happened when he was fighting with nickki way before at the house… he grabbed at her lung and agave it a lil bit of a squeeze.
