The HEROES thread

I don’t think Sylar would have let himself get stabbed since he wanted to stop Peter. How can you stop him if you’re dead? Also, I’m pretty sure he died, since (as someone mentioned before) it showed all the powers fizzling out when it did the close up on his eye.

No, you don’t know. Some of us follow the show and its interviews and media that isn’t forcefed in action sequences (hint: those of us who can read). You crack me up. I never said my shit was fact and I freely admit that and said it in my posts. However, I back my shit up with both, information directly from the show and information directly from the writer’s spoilers.

How about you point out where I claimed something as fact and proceeded to make something up? the ball’s in your court. Add that to the ones in your mouth and you should have enough to keep you busy for a while.

Some of the answers are explained, yet your inability to comprehend basics combined with an attention span that has a shortness rivaled only by your penis keeps you from realizing that.

I’m not so sure that he did want to stop Peter. Hiro would have stopped him from exploding and Sylar intentionally TK’ed him away.

Also, Sylar may still be alive under his own power. If Isaac’s limitation of not painting past his own death applies to Sylar as well, then Sylar shouldn’t have been able to paint the nuclear pics or Nathan in the white house, etc. Or it’s a plot hole.

wait…what?

Issac definitely painted past his own death. He painted the bomb going off and he clearly dies before that happens.

Whoa man, you don’t need to prove you are smarter then us because you understand the poorly written show. I get it, you’re the Heroes authority. You are the champ brown man.

Just don’t get mad at me because your favorite show is full of plot holes and general retardation. You can still enjoy it man, you don’t have to lash out at me with your ADAM WARLOCK FLAMES. I mean seriously, don’t, I’m scared. I don’t need to hear how I suck this or take this here in my what not.

Besides if everyone has such a huge attention span and I’m this ADD addict child, why is the general opinion that the best episodes are the ones where they actually use their powers to fight one another?

Or how everyone usually talks about whatever happens in the last 5 minutes of the episode?

I don’t see anyone in here talking about the first 45 minutes or so of the disappointing finale. All we talk about is Sylar’s powers, Peter’s powers, why Hiro’s aren’t working, how Nikki’s work etc.

Don’t act all high and mighty man, you are here for super hero antics, not a pussy half assed drama. Just like we all are. You shouldn’t accept a lackluster Drama when you are truly hungering for some prime time hero throwdowns and scheming.

That is another thing, the show didn’t have NEARLY enough shady scheming.

Well, I was going off of what he said at the “final fight”. “I’m the Hero”, since Peter was the exploding man, I assume he was going to kill Peter to “save” New York.

The only way they can explain the eye scene if Sylar is still alive is if he just lost those powers somehow.

Slash, you’ve been bitching about that shit since the second episode. Don’t shit up the thread because you’re too retarded to stop watching a show you don’t like. “We’re in it to win it”

Look brah, I liked it, when things actually happened.

The Days of the Heroes past episode was quite good.

Sylar-Nathan just flying off was one of the top tier moments of the entire season.

I’m not shitting up anything, I’m just pointing out obvious flaws. Don’t get mad, holmes.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

hiro’s time stop is the “heroes” equivilent to the speedforce. And if it becomes clear its a living entitiy i’m calling flash bullshit but anyways, in the flash. When wally was first learning his powers, his powers would kick in when he needed them the most. Its the speedforce protecting him…similar to hiro and his timestop…it comes at the most crucial moments till he can full learn to use them.

Oh I agree, I wasn’t trying to disagree or talk shit about the plot with my last post. I was clarifying that Peter COULD be slugging him with super-strength and still not mangle Sylar like someone else was saying because Sylar’s been shown to have high durability (probably thanks to TK).

Its possible. I mean when hiro was gonna stab him the first time sylar was like “go ahead and kill me”, then hiro was like “i can’t!!” teleport
Nice theory.

That’s your answer right there, Sylar is that nigga.

Hiro has been emotionally weak throughout the entire season. His only driving force before that was “I have powers, I have to do something good with them.”

Did he actually ever see Isaac painting? I don’t remember.

Actually if anything, it seems like the training was to make him realize that he needed the courage to sacrifice himself to save others. Knowing Ando was going to die in the future wasn’t enough for Hiro, but after he trained and remembered the story about the Samurai cutting out his heart for the princess, he was ready to fuck Sylar’s shit up.

Kensei is hiro.

imo.

Kensei is Hiros dad IMO. Hiros dad has longevity or something.

hmmm so kensei is not his last name it just a title he got.

I just want to pop in and say I enjoyed the ending. This show is pretty standard soap opera format if you guys haven’t noticed. Therefore nothing too important is ever going to happen in one episode. Things will be reveled yes but at it’s core its a soap opera melodrama. However I think they are handling it quite well, we probably will never see a super awesome power battle but just remember its a drama first and action second and try and enjoy.

He never did, he saw a painting of himself flying that’s it. He also never saw the cheerleader regenerate.

I always thought the Sylar eye thing was literally his life flashing before his eyes until the final image was an image of his future “death”.

I assumed the cockroach symbolized his resiliency and his strong will to survive.

I think it would be cool as hell, not to mention a little more believable if Hiro really did to a teleport fatality attack. Unless Sylar really let him stab him, i think the VERY slow running stab attack was kinda weak.
I was waiting for the announcer to yell “IPPON!”, but it never happened.

Peter is still a punk

i checked through the past few pages and couldnt find anything.
so my question is why did peter need nathan to fly him off into the sky?
he can fly by himself right?

well it’s simple, the show had terrible writing.

Finally watched the Episode today. My thoughts.

Hiros Training was not to make him some ubber bad ass swordsman. It was to give him the conviction to actually stab Sylar. Did he do it in a stupid way? Yes. Should Sylar have side stepped that shit? Yes. Did we see plot no jutsu being used by Hiro? Yes we did.

Peters Emo took over again and that is why he could not get Teds power under control. He brought himself down from Nuking not once but twice before. However he wasnt going Emo then. The first time was holy shit! Then second was Not now! and he passed out like a bitch. The third time he was already freaking over the Sylar beat down and lost it… Nathan had to play Toss the baby to save the day. Had Claude been around He would have just given Peter the Dr. Who punch and it would have been over. No nuke no Frying man none of it. Just an unconscious Emo laying face down on the concrete.

Claire diving out the window was a god tier escape. Nathan didnt go after her at that time because he was still listening to mommy. He had some time to think about it and realized hell if my daughter and my brother are trying to save the world then maybe they are right. I mean the vote is 2-1 here. And flew off to save Peter.

Charles power is Dream Vision/Dream Manipulation. I am pretty sure he knew Peter would pass out at X time on X day and planted a Seed in his mind to go off then. That is why we saw him and saw him talking to Peter.

DL had a fist full of Linderbrains. I think he has some potential and I hope he comes back.

Parkman kind of grew on me until Im a cop hes a bad guy Im going after him never mind that Bennet had dealt with him before and knew what he could do. Never mind that you shot the guy and he got up. No Im going to do the same thing that failed last time. I really hope we see Future Parkman soon because he was somewhat bad ass. Current Parkman is a tool.

Call me Noah was the best part of the whole show. Hes been carrying part 2 of season 1 along with Sylar.

They should really bring Claude back because he was really interesting. I could see a little showdown with him and Noah too.

Claire should have known she could cap Peter and it not matter so why did she bitch out? Someone used censor power. There is no way they would have a kid murder someone on TV. It would look bad especially since the V tech shooting.

Over all a decent episode but not what they hyped it to be and a lot of things that looked kind of dumb. But hell I dont watch it to be realistic or even for bad ass fights. Its just a good Drama with super powers as the backdrop.

I thin Nathan added a real interesting dichotomy to the show. He had this awesome power one we all dream of having as a kid and says Fuck it Im gonna be king of the world and do whatever I have to do to get it. I think it will be interesting to see if he changed or falls back into his old ways after the shock of seeing peter blow up.

Peter will be back but he will be s desert hermit. I think he will be around Los Alamos blowing off steam.

Nikki is free of Jessica now and I think that kills her character completely. Jessica was far more interesting to watch because of how cold and ruthless he was. But she would show a tender side now and again. Nikki is too soft to be super strong. Jessica fit better and made an interesting sub-bad-guy.

Season 2 with is it the boogie man? No hes worse he can see me will be interesting. My money is on Charles or Uluru. Uluru being some poor guy whos power kicked in and caused him to mutate psychically. Ill watch it but I wont go into it expecting anything more than some good entertainment for an hour.
