As an another Hsien-Ko/Arthur user, I’m pleased to see some action for them by someone else. And yea, Thor is a bad match up for Arthur thanks to mighty strike. Fortunately, at least he isn’t too common.
I was on Peaceful Jay’s stream the other day, and Arthur saved my butt several times. I use him as anchor, but he came out many times to deliver death, and show hawkeye how to zone

I mostly had Arthur as my anchor so he didn’t get much action on point. I think the main highlight is the 3rd match where Arthur almost pulls off a never give up moment. Also, I need to stop abusing the daggers assist that much. I let him die as an assist way too often thanks to that.

As I understand it, he used Gold Armor just to beat out Dante’s beam with the crossbow, which was likely the best possible plan, and then paid for it. Gosh darnit.

Rikir - when you are in ga mode with arthur are you using H as a poke to confirm to arrows?
Little extension with missiles. I found some other stuff that only works on big characters but it added little damage, this is a lot more reliable. Variations with multiple hellbound slashes gave similar dmg for more effort, so I recorded this one.

Are gold arrows really safe on block or something?
Unless you’re up against someone with teleports, I would assume so. I would also believe that despite the noticeable chip damage, using gold arrows on a defensive opponent is generally a pretty big waste of time considering how little of it you have.
I have tourney matches this time. I got 4th in a Toronto tournament with Tron/Dante/Arthur. My matches are at around 1:50:00. I put Arthur on point at around 2:09:00 so you get to see some of my regular zoning lol.
