Nah, Hawk never got knocked out of the ring. The last episode is 26.
I almost thought heād burst like a balloon too. Looked pretty darn freaky.
Still, 24 was pretty darn epic. I think the whole Takamura vs Hawk match was easily one of the most intense fights the series has ever had and the most emotional. Almost chanted with the rest of the crowd during the final countdown. 
I think they stretched that fight out a little too long. Was pretty good though. COuldnāt stop watching till I finished it, 6 episodes in a row to catch up today. I really liked the fact that Ippo actually finished someone so early even if it was a lucky shot. Just shows how dangerous dempsey roll is if you donāt 1 frame reversal it.

man this dude got fucking talent, his hajime no ippo game is looking so epic too.
While that animation was sweet, I donāt see how black and white non descript pictures can come close to displaying the awesomeness of the anime, especially when that anime can be had in 720p :lovin:
The superb voice acting alone wins me over.
this anime NEEDS to be on prime time tv. fuck naruto, yogi-oā¦ and all the other bs animes shoved in our faces.
