I donāt really read the manga, could someone tell me if Ippo eventually decides to go out of Japan and onto the world stage of boxing? Does he go OPBF first like Miyata or go the Takamura route? If he does, is this really far away or do you think we might see it in the anime (assuming maybe 90-100 some-odd episodes)?

this is already pretty far in the story. like over 100 ep if the anime would still continue. unfortunately new challenger will end with ep 26. =/

Iāll wait for more concrete evidence. Thereās evidence to suggest that they may conclude the season with 26 episodes, but Iāve heard absolutely nothing about stopping permanently there. With all the shit they did to bring the series back, what, 8 years later it would be a tremendous waste.
i think that the present time slot of nihon tv doesnāt show any challenger episodes after ep 26 and absolutely no advertisment of any further episodes should be evidence enough.

japan runs in seasons now it seems instead of how it would automatically start season 2 right after episode 26. so it may just be coming back in the fall.
