brian hawk is voiced by akio ohtsuka who does amongst many other voices solid snake and blackbeard from one piece. awesome choice.
Being a fan of Ohtsuka’s work, that pretty much made me look more forward to see ep. 16.
actually, back around the 300’s (the anime JUST passed this, it was after the geromichi fight) ippo does have the balls to tell the poor girl that he likes her, which would have led to a lot of hanky panky (yeah, i fucking said hanky panky)

Can anybody give me tips on beating Sendo in Act 2 of All Stars? I have hit him 600+ times to his 300ish yet he won’t go down and stay down, and since I can’t progress through story by Decision it doesn’t matter.
I’ve tried outboxing him, infighting (he wins due to an insane chin and way stronger than Ippo ver 2), counter and run, headhunting, body shots… nothing works.
I have never played this game in my life, but if I was the one fighting, I would hit Sendo with a Liver Blow (Rivah Burooooo!!!) then follow up with a Gazelle Punch (Gazerru Paunch!!!) and finish with the Dempsey Roll. (DEMPSEY RORR!!!) It’s Lallapalooza. (Ra-ra-pa-rooza.)
I assume you’re playing on hard mode. You should be KOing Sendo if you’re out landing him by that much :/. I usually just pressure him with bodyshots then as he recovers throw a hook or a 1-2 combo. Pretty much repeat that until he’s on the ground. If you’re in his face most of the time, he won’t be able to land a smash on you. Just keep pressuring him and you should be able to KO him in 3-5 rounds.
