i think you should replace the word physical with something else, because i know you saw ippos face after that shit…
and sendo vs RBJ, I don’t know, it’s like way different than ippo even though ippo and sendo would have the same outcome.
sendo and RBJ both have motionless punches, and a switch hitting stance, but sendo doesn’t go southpaw… it’d be a real interesting fight.
though sendo has more stam, strength, dash in speed, for sure, who knows. i’d like to see ippo and sendo fight rbj, but the fight i want to see the most is sendo vs miyata (it’s going to happen), and vorg vs ANYBODY!
perhaps the word internal could replace the word physical in that case.
the loose-glove-jab to the face was like a very painful slap and comparable to the whip like flickers; both do visible-external rather than unseen-internal damage.
it caused ippo’s face to flush with blood and swell… while restricting his vision the actual damage was superficial
just ask you local pimp…
re: Vorg vs anybody
i’ld like to see Vorg ko a counter guy… itaki seems to beneath him in skill though
I wonder if Miyata will go up a weight class :wonder: not to step on toes but he owes someone else a rematch too.
I’m questioning the mechanics of the game if Miyata can pretty much KO Sendo with one Jolt with that much health left lol, it better be hard as fuck to pull off or something lol.
Well, it is work in progress - so I’m sure they’ll resolve that when it’s finalized. Unless they’re biased towards Miyata, but that’s another story.
I liked Sendo more than Miyata myself. But out of Ippo’s rivals/people whom he fought, I really liked Volg’s character. I hope we get to see him again in the series.
I could say Date instead, but the guy is a tier of his own.
Hell yeah. Well actually, I would bet Volg right now is in a tier of his own or on (perhaps higher) on Date’s level since he’s training in his natural out-boxing style in America. I’d LOVE to see him come back and I’m sure he will.
Miyata isn’t going to fight Ippo because Miyata is leaving that weight class since he have the build for it, and the weight training fucks him up almost as badly as it does Takamura. Ippo was supposed to be his last fight in feather (or straw? whatever 125lbs is), but Miyata pulled out to fight RBJ instead.
miyata insisted to stay in the featherweights because of the promise he had with ippo. breaking the promise and proving his style against his worst possible match up there is nothing else to prove for him in the featherweight division. as stated in the manga before his injury lay-off will force him to move up to his ideal weight class anyway as he can’t hold the featherweight any longer without regular practice and fighting.
though morikawa could let him stay in the feighterweights depending in which direction he wants to go with miyata.
Yeah I’ll deffanitly check it out this looks fucking awesome. When i finish Dling Initial D and get it onto DVD then I’ll start on this. It looks epic.
I’m pretty sure that homebrew project doesn’t run off the MUGEN engine. Regardless, that could shape up to be the perfect Fighting Spirit game. If only whoever owns the license for FS could hire this guy and buy his project…
Even the fucking sound is awesome (First season soundtrack sure seems to kick way more ass than this new season).
seems Miyata’s mixing in the corkscrew punch style without ever fighting Date while Ippo actually used a heart break punch. Given Miyata’s glass jaw he might as well pick up the neck spin of the former champ too.
I wonder… could ippo pull a signature punch out in the middle of his new Dempsey roll… Gazelle punch seems a little too much for now but a liver blow or heart break punch seem possible with his rotations.
