The Hajime no Ippo (HnI) thread - Gazelle Punch Her in the Gut!

:p: chapter 844 :p:

Is animebreaker down for you guys too?

Suspended. Yep. =/

Dang, I wish that wasn’t the case. Those guys were my favorite.

Chapter 844 BS: I don’t even know what to say.

I hate Chapter 844 and all of this garbage.

I normally am ok with Miyata, but this is pure crap. Ughh

fuck miyata

Spoiler

fuck miyata

frostii already has episode 8 subbed: http://frostii.com/category/releases/hajime-no-ippo-new-challenger/

[details=Spoiler]
I called it. Miyata wins in Round 7. [/details]

There’s only one good thing that can come out of Miyata winning, Randy is no longer the contender for the world ring and that means that we can look forward to a match of epic awesomeness. Ricardo Martinez vs. Sendo Takeshi!!! Sendo wins in round 2, I called it.

Damn, this match is amazing animated. Ricardo is a beast…

I could have written this chapter, considering how obvious it was. Everyone saw this coming. I hope his ribs are so jacked he can never box again. Better yet, let him die from Internal Bleeding - Miyata sucks.

For the MiyataRBJ fight, win or lose, I hope the fight extends just a bit more. It’s kinda…boring to see it end here like that.

Yo what’s the point in Miyata training with Sendo… I thought he would learn the smash or a smash variant. This is bullshit!

ep 8

Spoiler

Date being in the hospital, passing the torch to Ippo plucked at my heart strings

You couldn’t help but try to hold back a tear or two…

Pretty much. I’d feel alot better about this fight if this was the end of Miyata’s career. But I really don’t think that RBJ is done from that counter. A beaten down Miyata with broken ribs putting out THAT much power? Naw son, that’s that bullshit.

just read the chapter. he learned from sendo that in order to win he needs to create a moment that can throw his opponent off balance. in a way those silly looking 3/4 uppercuts did that. the left feint right cross counter ko just sealed the deal.

at first when i saw the raw i was disappointed with the way it ended but now with the translation it all started to make sense. morikawa has planned this long time ago. it all goes back to this.

better for him to win by embracing his father’s style despite everyone telling him he couldn’t win using it than for him to pull out a random move we’d never seen before from out of nowhere. (like ippo heartbreak shot against gedo)

yeah, sousuke has a point.

it’d be more believable if miyata wasn’t broken to hell but the end is justifiable. a good ending; just poor plot up to it.

kind of takes away Rbj’s awesomeness though.

While I wouldn’t go that far, I’d say it was pretty emotional. All in all a fantastic battle!
