Yeah, so…only 2-3 more chapters in this match?
Doubt it. This looks like the author wants to draw it out to explain Miyata and RBJ’s goal. And if you look at the other major matches, they are an average of 20-25 chapters long. Miyata/RBJ is around 16, I think. If you look ahead at the RAWS (they are on Ch. 838), it doesn’t look like its going to end any time soon.
lol@stare of death
randy has byakugan =P
haha for realz. holy crap can you at least try to hide when u do a filler chapter…not so obvious.
Oh my god… that looks fantastic! Even has the super-exaggerated wind swipes and all that shit. You know something is wrong when these fan games are better than the real deal (those stupid Victorious Boxer games).
stupid victorious boxer?!? wow…dude, vb are the best boxing games you can get!! they are so damn fun. i actually want to play now. too bad my ps2 broke. ;(
This quite possibly the most dumb ass statement I have ever read.
God forbid someone has an opinion that differs from your own. I’ve always been a Punchout/Fightnight kind of guy…
The Wii version of Victorius Boxer and the forced wii-mote controls was horrrrrible!
you can have your own opinon…its just wrong. [srk-bite] imo[/srk-bite]
Well, EA did completely rip off VB for the new and improved fight night series.
It’s true. VB is a lot more anime-ish, so the action is a lot faster and harder to see the big hits.
The Wii one sucked bad not because the motion controls were forced, but that how it was implemented sucked. If they sat down with it and thought more, it would have been boss.
i don’t even count the wii as a true vb game but the vb ps2 games were truly awesome. i forgot how many countless nights my gym mate and i played this game to death. funny, that he actually hates anime but came through the game in contact with ippo and was totally hooked.
martinez is not only in the manga broken
VB2 has some really fucked up hitboxes. Still fun, though.
I was going off mainly of my impression of the Wii version. I played the first Victorious Boxers way before I even knew it was based off of Fighting Spirit (came out in like 2001 I think) and thought it was meh compared to the then champion Knockout Kings. Did the second one even come out in the US?
Thanks for whoever gave me the neg rep too. Prick.
Yeah, came out in 2007, I believe. It was only $20 new. A great find.
Crazy…but I’m still sticking to my prediction.
yeah, i am still confident that miyata is going to win this. it wouldn’t be HnI without the drama. it’s actually exactly how i predicted it. miyatas worst possible matchup combined with the fact that his style is completely shut down to the point where he has to face the undeniable truth that his fathers style is not his style and he needs to throw away his pride so he can evolve into a better boxer.
I’ve been playing Victorious Spirits on PSP.
Fun game. Slower than VB2, got rid of the dominance of body blows, lots of characters got some good boosts (sometimes too much, goddamn it’s hard to get in on Sawamura as Ippo or anyone who has shorter reach than him).
It’s pretty up to date. Has Gedo and Randy Boy Jr. even.
