Yeah, I enjoyed it. I hear people are complaining about the animations looking like the old series, WTF!? The animation is so great! and it looks like the movie hehe oh and the music isn’t bad, I hope they bring back the ring music as I call it or the special move music…I enjoyed it, it was funny enough and looks like they are getting right into it quickly, Just like the manga.
Can’t wait for the Saizen sub.
Is it just me, or did they change some of the voice actors for some of the characters. I noticed that Miyata’s dad,Kumi, and Kamogawa’s voices are different. Just an observation. Also 
at Gregory’s manager.

Meh, they lied. The Animebreaker rip is 704x400. Still nice, but I find it weird that they would downsample it at all in this day and age.
the only voice that changed is kumi. the rest are all the same. though miyatas seiy? does sound a lot different this time.
it has been a few years…peoples voices can change due to many reasons…smoking/drinking/different interpretations of the character. maybe they felt they needed to sound older or different due to the time span.
well, i heard seki didn’t made many voices since the last ippo so my guess is that he needs some time to get back into the vibe.
They have two versions, one in SD and one in HD. You got the SD one.
Just go to Mininova if you want the HD version.

Coach Kamogawa sounds different to me, but that was the only one I noticed
He sounds exactly the same to me. In fact, everyone sounded the same to me. And I just watched a bunch of original eps last weekend.
Shit, didn’t see any different version. Oh well, good to know for next week.
I actually was kinda disappointed with the first ep. Not the quality of the subs or anything, the show just wasn’t as funny as it used to be.

What were you expecting anyway? Like relax, it is the first episode and this is what happened in the manga 7 years ago, they just put it on the screen. I thought it was funny near the end but it is right after a match in the manga, not like it is a “New series with episodes just being written”.
Anyway, I think they changed Aoikis w/e voice. Who cares, Ippo’s is the same and Takamura so I am fine!!
First episode was good IMO. Mashiba being referred as a reaper is funny. Can’t wait to see coach Kamogawa’s Tekken in full animation.
