Yeah it’s sad that the Sendo fight has me more amped than Ippo. Sendo is pretty much is the polar opposite of Ippo, fiery determination but is quite hardheaded about what’s “manly” aka forgo honest defense to brawl. Cross Arm Blocks can only take you so far. Mashiba’s will be interesting as well.

Kamogawa said black guys have more natural rhythm man, not extra muscle, tho he did say the black dude Ippo first fought against had supple muscles if thats the same thing or not.
Good look at the ps3 gameplay released earlier this month in Japan. Fucking Aokis look away is a special move haha, really want this game to get localised.
Big Yagi tho… Either way I’ve always like watching the banter between Mashiba and Sendo. I Kimura is a part of that comedic relief, but I wish he would get boosted up a bit more. Ever since the kimura/Mashiba fight, I have been rooting for dude.
I have it. the game is pretty fun if you’re a fan (obviously). It leaves much to be desired in terms of visuals, but the cinematics when you land their special moves is cool and satisfying. In terms of modes, its pretty bare. Doesnt seem like the budget was up to par with their other anime games. Gameplay wise its pretty addicting. I went through story mode with Ippo, and his style was obviously more get in, dodge and go ham. Currently going through mashiba’s story mode, and his style is much more keep away, and wear them down with his flicker jabs, and if they try dashing in, you nail them with a meaty punch, and then jab them away to maintain distance. Its pretty loyal to the series. The gameplay does get really repetitive though. Also its only 1p.
I think they just want to show that they’re monsters cause that’s what the world level is supposed to be. Which could help motivate Ippo and remind him of what Takamura said.
Yar its really trying to drive the Metsu no Ippo angle now, which is good cause technically Ippo should be able to school these guys but given theyre mental state they gonna be OP as fuck for these fights.
Depends in what. In a spar yes. In an actual match no, Ippo’s plot armor is too stronk. He’s not going to eat another loss until the last boss if at all.
Shit id say they would both beat em in a real match at the moment, Sendo did put his ass through the ring and when has Ippo not been shit feared of Ryo? Ippo is actually getting weaker the more the story develops these days lol.
Ippo loses to the #2 in the world, and you guys think he’s gonna start losing to dudes who are not only way below him, but guys that he has already beat (in Sendo’s case, twice)?
I know you’re all on a Ippo downer, but c’mon now, Ippo is a beast.
I doubt Ippo would lose to either one in a “real” match, simply because we went through it.
However, I do think we’re going to see a “They were handicapped and they still busted out the V because KILLER INSTINCT - which u no have ippo lol” set of chapters.
