Ippo lost to Alf to make this happen man. Miyata gonna train with him and they will have their final match in the Kamogawa ring where their rivalry began :tearyeyednigga:
Stating the obvious here, but Ippoâs fight with Alf wasnât nearly as close as it looked. The only reason he sorta came close to winning was because of Alfâs Full Retard Activation.
We got a glimpse of the skill level and superior techniques awaiting Ippo in the world stage before Alfâs retardation mode kicked in.
This, pretty much. He doesnât need to turn into a technical boxer, but when heâs swaying past all these punches he needs SOMETHING to switch the range up so he doesnât have to get his shoulder into their chest just to do anything. Itâs not THAT much of a range difference.
Itâs nice to see how much Takamura cares for Kamogawa, even if he doesnât show it.
Yea this is a great sign, instead of using kamogawas tech he might actually fight because he wants to fuck people up and cut loose.
Wild Ippo coming back to a Korakuen Ring near you, stay tuned!
Also nice to see that Itagaki is completely clueless, not even bothering to examine WHY he lost and lost so quickly at that, not that people donât remember his match.
Also, is there something going on with Takamuraâs right eye? I remember there was a mini subplot or something about that wayy back ago, and just seeing him covering his right eye last chapter before shadow boxing, and having it closed today, just seems odd. May be for some silly dramatic effect though.
Think him covering his right eye is just because hes right handed. Just some dramatic effect shit.
Keeping one eye closed is just some anime/manga thing where characters only open one eye to see. Notice how both were closed before he got to Ippo?
I wonder what sort of cock joke Takamura has in store.
His right eye is closed probably because thatâs just how anime and manga are drawn.
damn the title of the next issueâŚlol. razor ramon just showed up.
Not gonna lie, but this game looks hype as hell!
The gameâs looking great, however I have my doubts that it will get released outside of Japan.
Well it looks like this will be the next boxing game I get. Now I have something to play other than Fight Night: Champion.
Used to love Fight Night games but they get boring as each edition is the same shit mostly, gonna buy this Ippo game though Day 1 even if it doesnt have any engrish in it, ive seen enough anime to wing it.
They even have Sawamura playable.
Hopefully they have the speed star, Brian Hawk, Randy Boy, and at the very least let Ricardo be playable.
Iâd even settle for him having SNK Boss Syndrome level of cheapness. But he HAS to be in the game, especially if they have prime Date as some sort of pre-order bonus.
Champion was different than the others. Especially the actual story mode, all they needed was to make it a bit longer and it would have been perfect. I feel you on that though. I am salty that EA scrapped Fight Night all together because FN Champion 2 would have been too ill.
Ippo x Kumi, I ship it so hard.
That look on Mashibaâs face though >.>
Blech, though the chapter did seem pretty redundant, as Ippo technically did reconcile himself with the fact he lost right before he saw Takamura, so seemed like a needless way to finish out the chapter. shrugs
