Mori is setting this up to be a huge fight with all the historic cameos. Ippo back in form.
All the past fighters showing up actually has me more worried. Now I think Ippo will get hit hard enough he falls. Then while heās on the mat, heāll look up and see the past fighters ending with Miyata. This would cause him to remember Takamuraās words of fighting like a champion and the responsibility that comes with it. Finally, heāll win and Kojima will say something like thatās what he wanted to do, so Ippo could act like a champ and move on into fighting world rankers.
I canāt get over that face. Iām in class looking at it right now. Too good. 
Ippoās K-groove meter is obviously maxed out.
He looks like Sonny Liston.
Peter Rabbitson, Rickey Mouse, Richard Fox. Itās a reoccurring toons theme for his defenses contrary to his title bouts that seem to be inspired by birds name like Hawk and Eagle.

another ippo fightā¦first round ko? no way, not with the build up they have done (going through extreme conditioning to fight him, idolizing him, mocking him purposely). dude has definitely done his homework. ippo is coming in far too overconfident, and thatās not his style, and lack of sleep will definitely affect him. in fact, i think ippo is going to get rocked hard in this fight. ippo comes out strong, the guy gets his weakness punch and pummels ippo to shit, ippo turns on his magic and wins at round 5-6 or so.
maybe its a coincidence but id like to think the creator grew up readin peter rabbit lol.
My prediction on how the fight goes:
Round 1: Ippo has the same face on while hes dodging punches left and right until Kojima sees Ippos flaw then exploits it. Keeps exploiting it until Ippoās coach notices it too and the round ends and he tells Ippo what hes doing wrong.
Round 2: Ippo adjusts and baits the same flaw and Kojima goes after it but falls for the bait and gets his shit pushed in. KO.
The only flaw Ippo has is that nobody truly fears him (cept Karasawa). They fear his punches, sure, but not the man himself. Hisato getting him into rage mode, having him go into the ring and dismantle his ass in front of that huge crowd is gonna send a message to everybody who steps to Makunoichi from that point.
This fight is gonna be a delightful bloodbath. For Morikawa to have Ippo struggle in this match would be a waste, considering a calm, cool and collected Ippo got his shit rocked in the previous one. Nobody wants to see that Ippo again. We want Akuma in the ring, emanating so much killing intent, even Mashiba gets scared (and thusly even more overprotective of Kumi).
I wish is was only about a round or two long but watch this get dragged out for 7 chapters.

I wanna see Ippo toy with him for a minute before he just puts his spark out. I hope he doesnāt even dempsey rollthis guy. Ippo is just gonna one shot him with a straight right.
He eventually dismantles everyone, itās just it takes him forever to get to that point. This dude gets thrown off by anything. I know a sure fire way to beat Ippo:
First round: Run away from him all round or just use some dopey cheap trick that everyone uses. You can use this for the next 4 rounds if you want, but I will pretend Ippo catches on after 1 round.
Round 2: Put some black stuff under your eyes like football players do.
Round 3: Put that tape across your nose like football players do.
Round 4: Wear an armband.
Round 5: Change the color of the armband.
Round 6: Wear a headband.
Thatās actually probably enough for an entire fight, as it probably takes him 4 rounds between each change. Dude is seriously retarded. Considering loosening a glove had him fooled for 6 rounds I seriously think this stuff would get him.

im on chapter 800 now, and this is probably one of my favorite franchises
my favorite fight thus far is sawamura vs mashibaā¦hands down
