^ I’m with you on the disgust of the slide-mounted safety/decocker. Though Taurus’ safety does feel more natural… I’ve had QC issues with the PT92.
I have a lot of experience with them. Those issues belong to the 96D do they not?

Taurus is good, real good, have used that to, but the feel and handle of the 96 is too good imo. Only thing that felt better and shoot better was the USP 45 minus the annoying having to pull to the left issue they have…
no, just was raised around firearms and taught how to use different ones. Although the frame saftey is much easier to handle, especially in a difficult situation. I just think feel edges out.

Not me… can’t can answer for everyone else. But I have mine for home protection and for sport. Only time I will carry is to go to the range. Next then I don’t pick fights nor go looking for them NOR hang in areas that you can say ‘i need to be protected’… just my opinion.

If you are involved in an unavoidable fight and you’re in a position of disparity of force, then yes. Ex: someone the same height & weight as you punches you in the face, not applicable. Someone the same height & weight as you has knocked you to the ground and is on top of you bashing your head into the ground, disparity of force is applicable and your life is now in immediate danger. In either example, if you’re armed and initiated the altercation then you’re at fault.

I will bite. Here are the situations in which I would use lethal force on another human being:
- Brandishing a weapon toward my wife and/or attempting to harm her in any way.
- Breaking into my house while I am there.
- Harming an innocent person, especially a child.
- I refuse to be a victim, so if it seems I am in a situation where I am going to die anyway, then will choose to die fighting.
I don’t start fights, nor do I look for trouble with anyone. I am 31 years old, I got better things to do that act like some 18 year old Billy Badass and swing a gun about like it is an extension of my dick. I grew up on a ranch, and often times I had to shoot rabid animals to protect livestock. Therefore to me guns have always just been a tool, really nothing more or less. I don’t carry a gun around because I work in a hospital, so 95% of the time I am not home I am at work, and therefore can’t have a gun anyway.
