Wow, Yazu is now above Hiko? Hiko must have lost a lot of BP, because I know he was a Grandmaster at one point. I was under the assumption that once you reach grandmaster, you can’t be demoted. Anyway, I find Hiko to be way too offensive, almost to the point of be ridiculously unsafe. Hiko can be really sloppy sometimes too. But it’s nice to see that there are some offensive Guile players in Japan.
Yazu and Yoshio by far has some of the cleanest Guile play I’ve seen from Japan.
Dont forget about Fujisawa, he is also a pretty strong player too. He is quite entertaining to watch, although he does tend to make more mistakes than Yoshiso. Yazu is without doubt a pretty good Guile player too. Machi is also quite technically sound, although now I understand he switches between Guile and Akuma.

Wow, that 24 hit combo at the end on Sagat is wicked…and it’s doable as he “only” burns one full bar. Yes, damage scaling makes it a 500 health combo but hey…that’s the price of flashiness.

Good matches aeroplane! You really have to play a bit more patiently during that honda matchup. IMO, honda is guile’s easiest matchup because he really has no clear answer to boom pressure. The trick to honda is to keep it simple. Sonic boom ALL DAY. If he wants to sit back and nj.hp over your booms, or even better, BLOCK them, then let him. You are the one getting meter, not him. You seemed to be getting antsy when he would bulldog your booms or sit back full screen. He wants you to jump into an EX headbutt. Remember that.
Other tips I would say vs. honda is that if you really REALLY don’t like him nj.hp’ing over your booms, patiently walk behind one of your booms, standard AA if he jumps forward, Then df.hk his nj.hp. Works a charm. Will still trade sometimes, but I’ve never seen it get beat. Also, if he bulldogs you a lot, then backfist or b.hk him, just like 'gief. Another thing that can be useful if you have space to give up is jumping back. For extra fun, make sure you jump back when he has a back charge! Many hondas will try to EX headbutt you on descent from jump-back. Air throw that $h!t on the way down. I use that trick on blankas a lot too.
Otherwise… ya. Boom all day and mix your AA’s up between s.hp, c.hp, air throw, flashkicks, and df.hk.

I also beat my very first 100kbp + person today. This Zangief player was destroying me but I pulled a clutch win with back air throw into the corner > meaty jab boom > j.hk > s.hp xx jab boom > s.hp.

I wouldn’t if I was you dude. I seriously focus waaay too much. If you watch my matches, I normally lose at least 150hp every round in grey life alone against projectile characters.
Neither of these players are me I just want to give these players a bit of exposure and I wanted to see what you guys think?
It’s a really long drawn out set but when it’s a Guile mirror it doesn’t seem there is any other way BUT to play like they have.

I can’t believe you lost that one. That Ken was weird, unless you know him from other times and half of that was mind games (can’t tell those from vids, of course).
Seems you missed to punish his tatsu’s a few times, even when you had Super and Ultra stocked.
I do like how much you use FA as until a few days ago, I didn’t use it at all. I was forced to learn FA and dashing because a buddy of mine is a monster Abel and that’s the only thing that messes up his game. I know, FA is very unsafe against shotos, but nice use of it regardless
Both great guiles, UK seems to have a pretty buff sf scene. I thought it was weird that every time infexious cornered shinji he ended up losing life from trying to corner pressure him lol.
you did good against Air. He did however, fluffed a few combos and made a number of mistakes but this sort of thing happens when the pressure is on. BTW have met any of the Japanese Guiles in person like Yazu, Yoshiwo, Fujisawa, K I R A? or Machi? I’m pretty sure you may have
