Yep, Ultra is possible after any crumple. And in a match that’s probably what should follow a lvl 2 FA crumble. I just like to do the S.FP>ExFlashKick though because it looks cool to me.
guys, check out dieminion v geom on youtube:
i usually hate watching mirror matches. this is different. it’s like the irresistible force against the immovable object. ultra turtle v ultra rush down.
Wow, thanks for the link. Two of the best Guiles around playing right there yet vastly different styles…and it’s indeed cool to watch.
What I find amazing is how much unsafe (but necessary) stuff they do simply because the other doesn’t think the opponent will do it (cr.Rh for example). Full of baits and mindgames as well.
Dieminion is a mighty Guile player but I have to give it up for geom. Dude sees combos where no one else could find them.
It’s fun to watch highly technical players use a highly technical character.
personally, i think geom and dagger g are the two best guile players in the world. i like fujisawa (sp) too. the problem with geom is that since he only plays online, it’s hard to really gauge where he stands for definite.
in this particular set, i think geom jumped in FAR too much on dieminion. then again, that man doesn’t know how to do conservative guile lol.
How can you compare geo to dagger g when he has no major tournament results. I think geo has a sick guile, but i really hope he comes to US for evo or something, id like to see how he does. Geo has great execution, and a lot of match up knowledge, but this game is very reaction based, especially guile. I hate playing guile online because reaction is EVERYTHING if you play zoning guile.
EDIT: Guile mirror is one of my favorite matches, it’s so pure. Very little sf4 bullshit in this match.
Thanks for the link ! great match.
The most enjoyable matches i had was guile mirrors. Oh and also Sagat.
haha word. recently started liking this match more. Good Games at Wednesday Night Fights last week by the way. Winning by chip damage and time.wtf
I see what you are saying about Dagger_G being proven in tournaments and stuff but I must say that GeoM might be an exception. Someone told me that he is the Columbia SF4 Champion (Don’t know if that’s legit though but I can ask him and find out.) But GeoM plays tournament players online all the time. And well known players at that, and he always wins. It’s going to be interesting to see him at EVO because I know for a fact he is going to be there. Dagger_G vs. GeoM is going to be sick.

my boi warahk whooping on mike ross!
read my post again. i clearly stated that because he only plays online, it’s basically impossible to definitely gauge his standing. in my opinion, he’s up there with the best. he’s the columbian national champion, he’s played justin wong, he’s beaten sabin/dieminion in first to 10’s, completely owned javits, so it’s not like it’s out of the question to say he’s up there. he’s definitely in the top 10 guile’s in the u.s/south america. we can argue about it all you want, but until he turns up at evo (which he’s going to do this year), we’ll never know.
i will say this though. i see him getting away with a few things like jumping in too much and using cr.hk without meter ect. this could be down to online/lag.
in my opinion, you will get further playing as an attacking form of guile than an all out lame guile. that’s why i think dagger g, fuson, geom ect are the best guile players. they can go on attacking, pressure streaks, yet defend their asses off too.
Does this guy have t1 or something? How the hell does he play such smooth matches all the way from south america?!
have you all forgotten … by the way i will be at evo taking all money matches in guile mirror

oh and heres sum good match too i won the fist to ten but he only recorded 3 1 of me winning and 2 of him winning

I had to laugh a little at the akuma dive kick and you counter ultra…that’s something I have to remember to do lol.
Best Guile player in Canada, hands down!
Also, I didn’t know you were going to EVO, that is awesome! See you there man. Maybe I’ll get good enough by then to put some real coin on a money match lol
I would love to play against north american’s in better conditions, but I’m in Colombia, not that I don’t love been here cause I love it, it just does not help for online games. I currently have a 20Mb/2Mb connection, and it is the best any ISP offers here, I know it falls short to what you can have in USA, but here is a different story, and even if it would be in a better faster connection, the distance it’s not going to magically get shorter, so ping will not decrease that much.
Triple post for the win, Rebelo.
Dude, 20mb down is pretty great IMO.
GeoM. You should sign on to PSN man, i got a good connection over here so with our powers combined its hopefully ok… Hit me up whenever im still down to mirror you. i play Monsterer from Mexico and its good.
Ok, I’ll do, I think I have you on my friend list.
Nice Warahk. That’s my first time see any of your matches. The final round of the 3rd match was beautiful man. Nice Guile sir.
