Having trouble with my chun-li match-up:
All comments are welcome.
FADC ultra, will this also work on a blocked blanka rollball?, he seems to recover from the move just like cammy’s ultra
Some Guile vids of me that was recorded. Did a FT10.

Tick Throw… denied! How about Ultra instead?

Help with Rufus… =(
Hmm, possibly. I either EXFK if he is in the air and straight up Ultra if he is on the ground. Of course that is unless the blanka is doing it properly space-wise, when the FADC Ultra might be perfect. I foresee some training room on that one.
Sorry for double post. Couple things that caught my eye outside of the meta-game. Far s.hp and C.hp are great for hazanshu. I try to space myself just outside of her max poke range and pressure with safe booms and poke with s.hp to stuff hazanshu. You jumped in in twice on wake-up while Chun had ex meter, which is very risky. I always shoot for getting to full screen and forcing Chun’s to take more risks to get in , which leads to airthrows and AA’s. Personally I think Guile wins from half to full screen pretty easily, up close Chun will eat you alive with her pokes and great normals.
So getting close to chun is bad, gotcha. As always, thanks for the feedback!
don’t forget about air throws too if you happen to meet her in the air. She has an air throw too so be wary of this.
Pretty sure most of us here were in the same boat. I switched from boxer (once I learned how to use him properly but still use him occasionally) but I persisted with Guile. Once you know the match ups and his move attributes you can win a lot of your matches
Lol, musn’t forget about that one! Thanks for the reminder anyway.
That reminds me. What happens if both of us air-throw at the same time? Does the comp randomise it? Or does the universe explode?
I think Guiles air throw has greater range. The guy played against at my local arcade feels this is the case, as I ended up air throwing him first. But she can air throw you if you tried a jumping attack instead of a throw. Timing still plays a part though.
Another thing is a whiffed command overhead kick can be punished with a C HK. I only use the C HK if I know I’ll land it. Or alternatively FADC the first hit as part of the mix ups (use with caution)

The link may be subjected to change at anytime =/
That was SO lame!
Yep:
Guile - 1.25
Cammy - 1.0
Chun - 1.1
Claw - 1.2
Feurte - 1.15
thanks lol
yeah Il give him your suggestions at the later tourneys. thanks for the input
Go Socal!
Your guile is sick. Your booms are cleannn. The commentary during your match against ricky cracked me up, guile truly is dumpster tier and very painful to play sometimes.
I don’t think this is the same day but here are some

Wow, very nice job against Mike Ross from Lamerboi. That was textbook and it worked right on. Good job against Keno as well but that dude’s execution is so spot on that one miss, and you lose a massve chunk of health.
Thanks for the vids

Nothing new here. Just a tut I did for newer Guile players. This just covers the very bare essentials to learning him. Hope it helps those who need it.
