I saw you doing a j.rh > ultra against zangief… did you just miss the timing or it will never combo?
To be honest I was pretty surprised when that didn’t connect. In that particular scenario, I jumped back before gief activated his ultra, then got the charge for the ultra during his cinematic. I think I could have hit j.hk a little bit more deep or activated the ultra a little sooner and it would have worked fine. It would have been pretty cool to see connect though, ha!

yeah i was shopping at shibuya 109 and 109-2, there are two stores one for guys and one for the ladies (there were a lot of hotties there). Are you talking about the arcade with the big SEGA sign outside? That place was something like 3 levels, but havent yet gone inside. i:ll try and squeeze another game in when i get back from fukuoka and osaka on the last leg of my holiday before flying out.
BTW how long will you be in japan for before going back to the states? at some point i will be coming back to japan after say a year, it is a freaking awesome place to stay:rock:

I’ll be here, or around the orient anyways for at least another year and a half. The arcade in shibuya is just a little dive near the scramble called shinjuku sportland. It’s a small little arcade in the basement. The owner is pretty cool, hes always happy to see foreigners come out for freeplay thursdays.

I tried a few translators and a few searches on the site but I could’t get anything relevant to show up. Curious because I’m actually in this one! I got to watch niconico mark in person. That guy is like guile god.

If you go up and back for a brief moment you get s.lk instead of bazooka knee while maintaining away charge. Someone else mentioned it in a different thread and it definitely works.

Watching Dagger G just makes me want to go train…something I never do. I see a lot of good Guiles, very good Guiles here. But then I watch a Dagger vid and it’s so surgical. It’s sick. His timing just seems impeccable.
